Printify: Print on Demand

I'm updating my previous review because the upgrade fixed some of the complaints I've had with their design system.Like being able to make the pricing uniform across colors and sizes. Yay for listening! It's much easier to use now but there are still things that could use work - like the Leave a Message button to contact them is right on top of the save button. The Tag issue still needs work. Every other program can separate by tabs but this one requires hitting Return instead and you cannot copy and paste which is a big pain to have to retype tags on similar products. The upgrade also wiped out all of the Tags I had added in Shopify so now I have to go back and retype every single tag again (see lack of copy and paste feature above) but I am glad to see they are improving their app. I hope it continues.

I love the idea of designing and adding print on demand items directly to my Shopify store. Can't wait to see how this pans out. Very Excited!

I had 3 orders with them (immediately upon starting with the app) and the shipping was extremely unorganized (2 inaccurate tracking numbers and 1 order shipped without a tracking number). A customer asked why her order was taking a week and a half at that point. After an online chat and emailing, the issue wasn't resolved (and not one of the 4 people I emailed responded). I suggest (and did suggest during the chat) that they get accurate tracking numbers AND use them on ALL shipments. It seems like that would be a good way to take care of customers. After the first 3 orders where a debacle, I decided this is not a good app for business purposes and have moved on.

Upon initial install, this product seemed to live up to the semi-canned "great" reviews. The interface looked amazing on my huge monitors, everything seemed to function well, there was a decent amount of product and options, and the prices were competitive. But then there were problems that I noticed... When I went to use the interface on my laptop-- smaller monitor-- the interface seemed to not scale properly. Also, several items had a default variant that would show up for no reason and you had to manually remove it from the Shopify side of things. I brought this up to their "support" via email with no response. Not even a form response saying they got my email. Then, after I met their minimum posts to be able to get "discounted" proofs, I ordered a shirt. It was TERRIBLE! I had followed their CMYK to sRGB in PNG format and utilized their color samples (which are buried on their site) but it still looked like crap. The edges weren't crisp, it looked like spray paint over-spray, and there was miss-registration issues. It was a 2 color job, too, so not rocket science. A vinyl wall decal I ordered also had miss-registration issues, was not as described, and there's an odd black line running down one side-- probably a crop line. I have switched back to my other vendor for all products except phone cases. I plan to not upload any additional creative for those until I can either be satisfied that this vendor will do those correctly or I settle on another vendor. I want to give it less stars, but will give the benefit of the doubt because I have not tried all of their products. At the same time, though, I also would not recommend them.

Great app! Super easy to use, great mockups, great customer service! Now, we'll see how things go once I get orders and see how Printify handles my customers. :-)

So far so good! Printify has allowed me to easily expand my product line and I love the ease with which orders are handled. They have always been quick to respond to any questions. One note: Don't use the auto populated item descriptions verbatim. (PS. If you want good SEO and unique content, you'll have to rewrite your item descriptions to make them stand out and not shoved to the back of Google searches.)

We use a couple different apps for direct to garment printing and this is by far the easiest one to use. I've ordered samples and they are great quality. Would highly recommend!

So far, so good! I am SO excited about Printify's print on demand and fulfillment! My life just got so much easier! At first, I was a little skeptical, but I just got my first sample in the mail and I'm in love!! I'm really hoping the product line is expanded in the near future.. I'd love to see ceramic coffee tumblers and tote bags!

I've been waiting for my samples to arrive to write my review. Got the mugs in seven days— at this point they've been through the dishwasher a number of times and the color seems to be holding. I've had other dyesub mugs develop a soapy taste right before having the color wash off, and that is not happening here, so I feel very confident carrying these mugs in my shop. The t-shirt left their facility first and arrived last, but I think that was the fault of the US Post Office and not Printify. All told, it took about ten days. The print looks and feels great. I haven't put it through the wash yet, but with proper handling I have no doubt it will hold up at least as well as any other DTG shirt. I really, really appreciate the fact that all of the blanks are American-made. I've had a few orders in the last two weeks, and they all moved to production within an hour or two. I'm so impressed so far, Printify. Good job and keep it up!

The app is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it. However, I ordered some samples of the shirts to see how the final product looked, and it was borderline unacceptable quality, despite the source image being 300dpi and correctly sized for printing. I may be a fringe case, but still, be sure to get samples before you put items on your store!

So far so good with PrintifyApp. They have a good selection, an easy design and product creation process, and solid Shopify integration. The fact that they provide tracking information has been very valuable and appreciated as well. The last test left: consistency. So far production time has been excellent, and I hope it continues as we ramp up marketing efforts and more orders coming flowing in...Printify is definitely worth considering if you want to diversify your product offering and create custom gear. - No Laying Up
