The pop up portion of Privy was extremely helpful, now that mailchimp does not integrate with Shopify and we've tried Privy it is extremely disappointing. Its not an intuitive UI. The text color does not match when you send the test emails and you can change it, but it does not change on the test email. You can't get customer support. Help features are a contact sub, mission form that doesn't even get addressed over weekends. I easily would've rated Privy 5/5 stars for the email signup pop/up...that's the only reason this isn't a 1 star

Super easy to use and already had someone sign up before I even had time to preview the app! Great App

Setup is pretty easy and intuitive. I would love a way to test appearance and functionality before I publish. Maybe I just haven't found it yet!

Great app - delivered a large number of new contacts for us - superior to every other solution we tried.

Privy offers a point-and-shoot interface to build popups for collecting email subscribers. Easy to use and test.

Just installed the app, super easy to set up. Loved the way you can send Autoresponder to the subscribers. Now, probably we would say goodbye to our Autoresponder service because this app does all.

We've only been using Privy for 4 days. Why didn't I put a pop-up on our store sooner?! We've already increased our opt-in rate 16%! Easy to set up, customize and make it look good and fit our brand. I recommend!

So far I like it. I'm using the free plan to capture emails with a flyout and sync contacts with Klaviyo, where email campaigns are sent from. The dashboard is easy to use and there are many options to style the flyout, popup etc. A key feature that I need and is only available in the $79/month plan: targeting customers who are signed up in the store. I feel like the price point is too high and not justified, at least in my case. UPDATE: the founder got in touch with me after I left my original review. The whole Privy team has been prompt in their responses and I'm happy with the results so far. Still feel like the price point is too high though, so for now I'll stick with the free plan to capture emails.
