I left Sumome for Privy for one reason: Privy offer's MailChimp.com integration on their free version. Sumome had initially allowed me to integrate on the free version, but then switched and were asking me for $50 a month for that ability. Pros for Privy: -Very easy to install and integrate without having to drop code into your html. -Simple set up -Easy Mailchimp integration (many other service integrations available as well). -Free version is versatile enough to get you started until you reach a point you need more advanced features. -They have a button that floats on the bottom of a Mobile page or in the corner of a Web page for customers to find the sign up even if they initially clicked off of it. Very good service so far with no complaints. Highly recommend it. Check us out at www.greyman-tactical.com to see our signup welcome mat in use. -Paul C.

Love it! From the moment we introduced our pop-up it was immediate sales! Thanks so much.

The best email pop I've used, I disabled the default one that came with my template because it felt somewhat intrusive since it always triggered as the page loaded so I don't think clients felt comfortable enough to enter their email address without getting access to see our products. But once I installed Privy and customized my email pop, my email submissions have grown significantly. Now that the email pop does not trigger on the page load it gives time to our customers to navigate throughout the site and then whether they try to leave or they stay on the site past a certain period of time the pop will trigger and it now has a higher conversion rate. Highly recommend this plug in. Thanks, Your Friends at Shapersfit.com

Privy was easy to set up and even easier to use with Shopify! Everything that you could ask for when searching for a pop up newsletter subscription app. Highly recommended!

Haven't had a chance to start using it before being asked to write this review- so not sure! Looks very comprehensive so far. Lots of options.

Not sure why you have to upgrade to sync an email address. Not cool to say it is free and then upsell us that way. You can mention it on the front of your website in big bold letters up top where we can see it instead of having to look for it. Mention that you have a free version where you can't sync your email address and then mention that you have a paid version where you can sync your email address. People appreciate transparency and being up-front instead of finding out later. I think the free version should let people sync at least 1 email address and the paid version should let people sync multiple email addresses.

Love it. You can have a pop up email newsletter that integrates with MailChimp on the FREE version. SumoMe makes you pay $50 a month for that pro feature. Wonderful. Thanks.

It's a really great app I think! I got some new customers through this app, I love the customization of the pop-up widget. Yes, I would recommend it to a friend. I just hope that it's compatible with the Seguno newsletter app.

Just started and great so far. I literally clicked get app in the Shopify store and before I knew it, the popup was activated on our store and we had subscribers coming in!
