We were looking for a "smarter" replacement for our website popups. We wanted an app with all the cool features but at a fair price. Privy offers a comparable set of features (and then some) that more expensive solutions do. With an awesome UI and extremely helpful support, Privy is a no brainer. Ben and his team are a pleasure to work with. We had this up and running in no time for 3 sites.

I've tried a couple of apps that profess to do the same thing, but I've been extremely impressed with Privy. Their app is more functional than any paid app offering a similar service. It's clean, simple, and works exactly the way I'd hoped. Some of the advanced features are definitely worth paying for as well- such as targeting only desktop users (Google recently released information that they'd penalize sites using popups on mobile devices starting early 2017!) I've also had problems with other email collection popup apps trying to integrate my email service. Somehow those other apps didn't work nearly as smoothly to import new contacts. In just the last day I've had a couple dozen new email signups, and I haven't even gotten into offering discount codes- another awesome feature offered by Privy. I'm a fan! Thanks Privy!

I USED to love this app, that is until they changed their pricing structure and added a whole bunch of functions that I don’t need. Now I’ve just received a billing notice that the FREE app I loved so much is now going to cost me $70 a month (It was not worth it at $15/month, but I already had designed several pop ups so I just paid it). And when I contacted support I was informed that because of Privy I have added xx number of subscribers and made xx number of dollars. UH, NO - because I offer a coupon and designed great pop ups I added those subscribers and because I write AWESOME newsletters I made xx number of dollars. PRIVY, there is an old saying "Pigs Get Fat, Hogs Get Slaughtered". I've now deleted the app.

A nice tool. Easy to set up. Not a ton of emails gathered yet, but we're a new site. Hopefully will be better as we grow

I was referred to Privy by another user and am happy to say it was quite simple to use and has accomplished all my needs in a professional solution- highly recommend!!!

Absolutely loving the Privy app. We had tried quite a few apps before discovering Privy, and finally here's an app that hits it out of the park. Some minor quirks on setup but support was responsive and it is functioning as intended. Easier to manage than paying a developer, although a developer can create more customization if you have the budget.

It does for free what offers charge. It's fully customizable and works fine. My only issue is the fact that autoresponders don't work, but I'm sure there will be a way to fix that.

It was easy to set this app up and you could choose where you want to put the sign up box and when you want it to appear. It has proved successful in the first few days and is helping build my e-mail marketing list!

UPDATE After using the app for a few years, an issue occurred which required help from the support team. The agent deleted our account by mistake. Although the account was reinstated and the error was acknowledged, Privy is requiring that we pay the updated rates, which are now six times higher. This is unethical. They should honour our previous rate since this was their mistake. I even took the time send screenshots of my exchanges with the support agent and they are offering a 50% discount for one month. Years worth of designs and templates are locked in our account unless we agree to pay more. We have to start from scratch. Disgraceful. We chose Privy because the configuration settings are very flexible. We have to operate in 2 languages and we are able to make our notifications bi-lingual. The app was easy to install and we love that there are multiple options to chose from, depending on what you are trying to accomplish (grow email list, maximize conversion rate..). Thank you Privy!

Great little app and a very valuable addition to my site! Easy to use and fairly customisable. My customers seem to like the offer pop up :D I'd recommend it to others for sure.

It's simple to use, highly effective and it just works! We've linked Privy with Infusionsoft for campaigns and everything has been working fine.
