Webkul Product Auction

Had a rocky start, but stayed in communication with the Webkul folks, they figured out which part of their code was creating an error on our site - and they were quick to get it fixed and updated. I've found the interface is easy to use, and they have options that aren't included in any of the other auction apps - an essential bonus for us. Very happy to have this as part of our store now.

The app works and looks great on the website. I wish the coding instructions were up to date, they seem out dated and little difficult to follow. Making this automatic would help those who are not a computer savvy or familiar with coding. Customer Support has some opportunities. They are curt with responses and didn't really listen to the root cause of the issues. Both interactions were the same, I would ask a question and support keep sending the same link over and over. Eventually they reluctantly help me out and manually fix my problem. I'm thankful for that, but I don't want to contact support every time I need to put something up for auction. I have contacted them twice and the same interactions both times. Curt and with out patience. My last interaction, they were adamite about rating them IMMEDIATELY, and they would wait until I was done. When I told them I would, but not as this moment, they continued to push. This incident, in conjunction with the previous interactions was really off putting. We are keeping this for now, but I will be shopping around for other apps.

Easy to use with an intuitive interface. Large auctions can be held seamlessly. The customer service is top notch.

This continues to be an amazing app. I've used it to run my weekly auction for almost 4 years now. The team at Webkul are quick to resolve any technical issues that surface, which is rarely. I run 400 lots a week and it takes bids quickly and efficiently. Couldn't run my business without it.

After testing all three auction apps available in Shopify's app store, I found Product Auction to be the best. As many of the reviews indicate, the developer's support was needed to run the app. They gave me great support to fix the issues that were probably theme related. It would be even much greater if the setup manual was more detailed, especially for the front end configuration. Editing code is often very tricky and the liquid files and templates vary depending the theme used. Some of the customization can be easily and safely done by Online Store 2.0 features. If you encounter any issues when installing the app that you find difficult to resolve on your own, please do not hesitate to ask developer's support. They are highly skilled and talented and can provide you with solutions.

I have not had the chance to use the app yet but the customer service is wonderful. I contacted support, asked for a one on one meeting, and was talking to Ayush Kansal within the hour. He was able to answer all of my questions, guide me through some of the setup process and went above and beyond to accommodate all of my requests. We will give the app a review once we have the opportunity to run a few auctions.

Setup was easy, and I just had my first support ticket and the chat was super fast and responsive and got my issue solved within minutes. Really liking this app so far!

Great app and great service - works as advertised on my site. It's a very complicated app so some work may be required for your theme.

I have had this app "active" for 6 days...have sought support for several fundamental issues...major fail. The "add to cart" shows up no matter what configurations and options are introduced and the auction window is obscured on Shopify in standard Chrome desktop configuration. Then there is the warning of configuration "Need to (re-)configure Authorize.net details to make auto payment from auction winners" which pops up but there doesn't appear to be a direct method to resolve. I sent emails to 3 different webkul email support addresses 5 days ago and have had no reply. My "trial" of 7 days is about to expire and I have not gained any confidence in this app....

This is a review for the customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure the app was installed correctly and walk through all of my questions. They even stayed passed working hours to help. Really great. I am just now starting to use the app and will update this review when I have had experience with it.

I love this app. Our store has used it for a few years now. The tech customer service has always been good, but now the responses are even more timely. (The time zone issues seem to have been resolved.)

Support is top notch! You can schedule a video conference call and they will help you out! Ayush was a huge help in getting my auction up and running!

The customer service is amazing! They've helped me through all of the issues I've had. Dealing with the timezone barrier is frustrating, but once we're able to connect I've never had an issue getting anything sorted out!

Takes some time to configure and understand how the app works . It is limited but short of paying out BIG BIG bucks for full on custom code what you gonna do ? If you need a website with aucitons on a budget i would defo consider this app as a starting point. Support do get stuff done. I suggest speaking with them up front . Do not lone ranger it haha :) We have this app fully running with weekly auctions . Does the job :)

i was charged 4 months for junk this people, took my money $120 when i only used it during the 7 days free trial and ask one of their agents to cancel it the app is terrible for auctions, doesnt even have interval time in between products, the only option is to list all of them at the same time. also, good look trying to reach them, this app was advertised as a USA product not Asian country INDIA, so i had to setup an alarm at 1am to talk to an agent. the app doesnt even allow you to list in bulk like ebay you have to watch youtube videos to understand their nonsense WOWWW csv files that if you're not familiar with it, is over! im disputing this charges right now i need a full refund of $120 because i only tried to used for not more than 2 weeks

This App is great! The support that is provided is fantastic. Ayush our support technician was always willing to go the extra step to make sure our needs were met at all occasions. Really would recommend to anyone wanting to install an auction feature onto their site.
