W3 Custom Product Options

We decided to use W3 Custom Products for the creation of mechanical assemblies. We are early in the process of migrating to Shopify but so far all of our testing supports W3's documentation . Their support has been fabulous. I've had to reach out 3x and I have received answers quickly. My most recent encounter had to do with a mistake I made and I received all the information I needed to correct my mistake. The application is easy to setup and the imagizer feature was a real win for us. WE are very pleased with the product.

Absolutely fantastic custom service! I'm based in Australia and the Customer Service Team were on hand sometimes in minutes of me emailing. I asked for a lot of detail and they really came through, Thank you!

This app is not for the light-hearted however once you are able to complete the installation (reach out to customer support and they will be happy to help at least from my experience and somewhat understanding of coding implementation), get comfortable with how the conditional logic system works with your products on Shopify, this app can be worth the price it offers especially with the image customizer feature. Though there are certain features I do wish this app provided which is an ajax shopping cart functionality and the ability to have a type of iFrame window setup or something similar to work with Shopify rather than the need to use a non-Shopify website in order to use the iFrame “Show Popup Window With Info” function within the conditional logic setup. Overall it currently works with what is needed at the moment and one other suggestion I would have for W3trends would be to extend the 7-day free trial to 14 days to allow more time for potential customers to get a feel of the app features. The customer service is responsive with this app. It's a good thing because you might need it; my Shopify Theme could not use the Automatic Installation. However, Justin installed it manually for me within an hour of my request, and they did answer a plethora of questions I asked before I was able to set it up successfully on a Copy of our site before I reuploaded the Copy to the LIVE area. (By the way, a Shopify tech told me that APPS would not work unless they were on the LIVE site. WRONG! I got better info about Shopify from the folks at W3Trends! Thank you, Justin!) The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is for two reasons: 1. The dashboard usability could be a bit clearer. Even though there are video tutorials, some actions happening on the screen were not made clear in the narration. 2. You can't use apostrophes in your titles above text boxes. Sometimes, ya just gotta have apostrophes. I had to change my verbiage to comply with the code. I understand, from over 20 years of working with my business parnter (in a separate business), who is a programmer, code can't always handle apostrophes, but there are ways around that. Now we'll see if people will use the function to add a NAME to their purchased products we have to honor nurses, doctors, military, firefighters, and police. Note that within the APP portal, you can use HTML to text you may want to add below your actual text boxes. I added RED and BOLDING to some fonts so people will readily see instructions as to how to give us the Titles and Ranks for NAMES, or just the NAMES they want on their products. Overall, great job, folks! Thank you for all of your patience and help.

Really good app, you can group functions by accordions. Great and fast technical assistance. 4 out of 5 stars because to change some things (ex. the color of the accordion bar) you have to modify the code of the theme (it would be better to have this option as a function of the app) but the assistance will help you out with this. With their help I managed to do that even if I don't have any knowledge about coding

Nice app to use, takes a bit of getting used to. The help from the team is excellent as well if you have any problems! Would recommend his app over the competitors which I have previously used

Très bonne application ! Les options proposées par shopify directement, avec le thème que j'ai choisi pour mon site, ne suffisaient pas pour gérer la vente de mon produit. J'ai trouvé cette application de customisation de produit qui conviens tout à fait à mes attentes et qui permet d'ajouter une plus-value sur mes produits. IL FAUT CEPENDANT PREVOIR QUE LE DEPLOIEMENT DE CETTE APPLICATION DEVRA ETRE FAITE PAR W3 (25$ supplémentaire). En effet le fait de devoir modifier des lignes de code HTML n'est pas trivial pour tout le monde et qui plus est si votre site internet est construit autour d'un thème personnalisé. Cela dit, le service après vente (le support) est réactif, disponible et prendra le temps d'adapter l'application pour votre site web sans coût supplémentaire (jusqu’à maintenant pour moi). Je suis, pour le moment, tout à fait satisfait de cette application et la recommande volontiers.
