The free tier doesn't allow you to pick a specific product, so that would mean every product in your shop would have a subscription. When i tried to change to the next tier, you can't find the payment tier plans. The only way was to try and upgrade to a legend tier which was $89 a year. I hadn't even created a rule and they want me to pay money, so much for free and free trial. No tanks.
Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the confusion here. We have reached out to you directly, as we would love to help clarify this and get everything set up correctly for you. Just to explain, our free plan does allow you to create a subscription rule for specific products. You can select the exact products you want to offer as subscriptions and save the rule on the free plan. The option that is restricted to a higher plan is applying a subscription rule automatically to all products in the shop. This is designed as a more advanced feature for merchants who want store-wide subscription setup, while the free plan is still available for setting up subscriptions on selected products. Also, all of our plans can be found in Seal Subscriptions > Settings > App plans. In there you can easily upgrade and downgrade the app to the desired plan :) We are also sorry that the plan selection was not clear enough when you tried to upgrade. We have a small business, and we have been using Seal Subscription's Free Plan for the past 3 years. In short, our customer experience has been fantastic. It was simple to install, is simple to use and, is flexible for our small subscriber base However, the best feature is the help / support provided by the Seal Subscription team. In my case, the team was responsive and genuinely engaged, and persistent, in working with me to resolve my minor issue. I couldn't recommend Seal Subscription more highly to any business irrespective of their nature and size.
I'll reserve the 5th star until I start getting some subscriptions. So far, solid app. Relatively easy to use and "customize". Quick customer service. It was worth the install!
This is the easiest to implement subscription program I have ever used and it makes me excited to implement it across my stores.
Highly recommend this app! Our store has used Seal for three years. It's a powerful and affordable app for managing our subscription program. It is feature-rich, which may overwhelm some users who are more tech-averse, but we love its customizability. They develop new features and make small improvements at a slow but steady pace. This is not a knock – the product is great as-is and I appreciate the steady and methodical approach to development. I think we have had two issues that required support over our three years, and it has been reasonably prompt and very helpful each time. It's quite affordable, the pricing is fair with lots of tiers based on features. The pricing is especially attractive compared to some other apps' pricing models that involve taking a cut of sales, which is insane, but that's another story. Love Seal!
