I tried giving this app a chance for 4 months and every month I had to go back and manually send the invoices, then they still may or may not show up. They weren't in customers junk or spam, they simply just weren't sending. There's also no option to charge automatically, which they didn't like. Support was minimal and instead of looking into and fixing it, they gave me a ton of complicated steps to do it myself. I'd rather pay for better service than get nothing at all for this one.

AWESOME! Free up to a huge amount of subscriptions, relatively uncomplicated to set up and works with recurring manual invoices :) What's not to like?

This app is dope! I got it setup in 15 mins and so far its working like a charm. The only thing I would say is the "Selling plan" section was a little confusing at first. I guessed I just needed to learn the lingo.

I used the app to easily create subscriptions with discounts, at any interval, for any products I chose to select.

Excellent customer service. Prompt response to your issues and very accommodating to your needs. Always making helpful suggestions. Only constructive feedback would be about customer log in having to create account, would be good if an account was created automatically for a more seamless model.

The full potential (e.g. auto-charge) of this app only works with Shopify Payments... It's even worse... Not even setting up subscriptions for product variants is allowed with other payment gateways than Shopify Payment.
Hi, I am sorry to hear that you decided to write a review before even giving us a change to explain why the limitations are in place. Our Seal Subscriptions app currently allows you to use the auto-charging feature with Shopify Payments, PayPal Express or Authorize.net. You are NOT limited only to Shopify Payments. All subscription apps have the same limitation (currently) and there is nothing we can do about this. We allow you to create a subscription rule even if you don't have any of these payment providers set up, as this is the only way to start using PayPal Express for auto-charging. You first have to create set up PayPal Express gateway and create an auto-charging subscription rule in your shop. Shopify then automatically submits your shop to PayPal for approval to use PayPal Express for auto-charging subscriptions. If we wouldn't allow you to create a subscription rule, then you wouldn't be able to use PayPal Express for auto-charging subscriptions. This app isn't reliable. There's been several times I'm unable to open it. I've contacted the developer and have done every suggestion. I can't access my subscribers to even know when to ship.
I am sorry to hear that you weren't able to resolve this issue even after following our recommendations. And it is unfortunate that you didn't contact us first after you tried what we suggested, as we could probably help you further. As mentioned before, you should be able to access the admin interface of the app in the latest versions all major browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) , as you were when you created your first subscription rule. Other users (some of them with thousands of subscribers) are not reporting any such issues, which is why we suspect that the issue you were experiencing could be caused by a browser plugin, a router configuration or maybe a firewall set up in your office. Disabling the browser plugins and checking the router configuration should be sufficient to resolve the issue you were experiencing. If you can access the app settings from a different location (e.g. a cafe), then the issue is probably in your office network. If you can access the app settings from a different browser, then the issue is probably in the browser (could be outdated) or in one of the browser plugins. A thing to note here is that when your subscriber pays for the order (either automatically or manually), you will see the order in your Shopify Orders and you will be able to fulfill it. You don't have to check in the app to know when to fulfill the order ;) If you do decide to give our app another try, please let us know if you still experience this issues. A great app with extensive subscription functionality at a great price. We have been using it since our site launch and it is an essential part of our strategy for subscription sales. Developer support is prompt and very helpful, and helped resolve an issue with the theme.

Setup was a breeze....once I realized it wasn't completely setup yet! :) Just be sure you know that if you don't see a special widget (grey box) - then your subscription is not active! Now lets see how this works once we get some orders! :)

I chose this app for my shop and I really recommend it. At first I had some issues with the translations but the customer support is great. I wrote them and the answer came back in a few minutes. They solved the problem immediately. The greatest benefit for our customers is that they can now manage their subscriptions by themselves.

Works great! One option I would like to see: instead of showing the widget on the product page, give customers the option to subscribe when they go to their cart instead. This way a customer can add the product to their cart and then be encouraged to subscribe when going to the cart page before beginning checkout. I would like this more because I prefer my product pages to be "cleaner" and see only one price.
