i want add item in menu filter, adding not available! i want add item in menu filter, adding not available!
Thanks for your feedback, you can add custom filters using metafields. See this help center page for more details on editing filters: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/filters#edit-filters
There's no ability to sort the products whatsoever, makes using the app incredibly difficult. I can't cross reference against my product list to ensure all products have been audited, which is a major fail. In fact, when I look in the app, there are only 66 products showing - yet I have 89 active products. I have no easy way of seeing which products aren't showing in the app (- and why aren't they showing anyway?)
Thank you for your feedback. We released an update this week that should help you. You can now view your entire product catalog and use the search, filter, and sort features–within the index table–to narrow down which products you want to edit.
Seems useful but I cant use it. I wish it would allow recommendations by PRODUCT TYPE. I think it would be EXTREMELY useful in MANY different industries.
Thank you for your feedback. Shopify has built-in strategies to adjust automatically generated product recommendations based on products that are commonly purchased together, have a similar product description, or products in related collections.
- Good but does not meet my needs. For example: My product is named "d-18", when searching, customers have to type the keyword "d-18" or "d 18" to display the product. If the customer types "d18" the product will not be displayed. I want when customer type "d18" to display products named "d-18", "d 18", "d_18", "d/18", d.18", "d+18".. special characters will not affect search results. Thank! - Update 1: "Thank you for your feedback, you can use our Synonyms feature to solve this problem" My store has over 3000 products and is growing rapidly, using Synonyms is very difficult for me - Update 2: The limit of 25 filters allowed to be displayed is not enough. Our store needs to display about 50 filters
Thank you for your feedback, you can use our Synonyms feature to solve this problem.
This app handles so much complexity that I don't have time to deal with as a business owner. The auto-generated recommendations are on point. It makes merchandizing, and search and discovery so much better.
A very nice app, they have solved a lot of their previous problems. Also you can now edit fields via bulk edit apps. Would appreciate for design options for the filters view
It's a good app but be careful creating product tags. You can't edit or delete them once made. You can't have 2 tags that are basically the same but one is capitalized and the other isn't. I made the mistake of creating a tag in all lower case letters and now I can't create the same tag but capitalized properly and I can't edit the old one. This really needs to be changed.
Thank you for your feedback. You can delete a tag by deleting it off every product it is added to.
** [Updated Review] I have tested the sorting on our site and it is now sorted based on the order of the metafield values list. I appreciate your team quickly finding and correcting this bug! ** Replying to Shopify Response: (Thank you for your feedback! Metafield definitions have a “Limit to preset choices” feature, where you can predefine which values the metafield can accept and sort them manually using drag and drop. If you use that metafield as a filter, Shopify will apply your “preset choices” ordering to the filter values on your storefront. Head over to your shop settings, and look under “Custom data”, that's where you manage all metafield definitions. Find your “Size” metafield definition, check the box “Limit to preset choices” under “Rules”, and set all your Size values there in the order that you want them to appear on your storefront, including the ones that use a “-” or “/”.) -- I already tried this before making this review. It does not work as your described. I even checked again, after reading your response. This only sorts it when choosing a metafield value for a product, it does not manually sort it in the Shopify Search & Discovery app. Maybe I am missing something? ** -- So far, this app works great, especially for free. But, please add the ability to sort metafield values within the filter section manually. We have a "size" metafield and want it to sort from smallest to largest ascending. It is automatically sorting it by value, but if there is a "-" or "/" for fractions it does not sort correctly. Not sure if it would sort correctly if we used decimal values instead of fractions, but we want to display them as fractions. Manual sorting would be great.
[Update to response] Thank you for raising the problem! It has now been fixed. The values in your Size filter should be in the same order as your preset choices now. [Previous response, still valid.] Metafield definitions have a “Limit to preset choices” feature, where you can predefine which values the metafield can accept and sort them manually using drag and drop. If you use that metafield as a filter, Shopify will apply your “preset choices” ordering to the filter values on your storefront. Head over to your shop settings, and look under “Custom data”, that's where you manage all metafield definitions. Find your “Size” metafield definition, check the box “Limit to preset choices” under “Rules”, and set all your Size values there in the order that you want them to appear on your storefront, including the ones that use a “-” or “/”.
"I highly recommend this searching app to anyone looking for a quick and efficient way to find what they need. The app is user-friendly, with a clean and easy-to-use interface that makes searching a breeze. The app's search algorithm is top-notch, producing relevant results in a matter of seconds. Additionally, the app offers various filters and sorting options to help narrow down search results. Overall, this searching app is a must-have for anyone looking to streamline their search process."
This app will not show the filter options on any search that returns more than 1000 items and will not be displayed on any collection page that has more than 10,000 items. For us this means that most of our big categories can't be searched up by their simple term and get filtering, and our "all products" page will never get filter options because we have categories with several thousand items and we have almost 20,000 item entries in general. The prospect of this app is great because it finally allows customers to filter by stock status and it may work fine for boutique shops that sell a dozen items or so but the inconsistency for bigger inventory shops sucks and Shopify putting seemingly arbitrary limits on when it will function is obnoxious! The filter needs to be extended to work for all results and for all products. If the page can display it or the search can show the result, the filter menu needs to function too. UPDATE: Upon further investigation it turns out the limit on the number of products per collection is 5000, not 10,000, so yeah, it's even worse, losing 1 more star Shopify. I contacted them and basically was given the standard "that's how it is, we'll tell someone about your problem and then promptly do nothing about it" response. I got a reply essentially saying it was a hard limit of the app and they weren't going to do anything about it. if you have large inventories, DO NOT use this app, it's garbage.
extremely bad app. The gui or design for the filters is horrid. Not only is the options limited, it looks bad too
Installed for the product recommendations feature. However you have to set this up manually for each product, there's no way to select more than one product at a time... it is ridiculously time consuming for a large catalog. Fix that and you'd have a good app here.
Thank you for your feedback. You can bulk edit product recommendations in the bulk editor using the relevant metafields - help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/product-recommendations#edit-product-recommendations-with-metafields
Not even worth one star at all. This app needs way more functions - its totally useless like this. For example you activate filter by "tags". You can not even edit the filter headline and there are ALL tags displayed in the filter you use on all products. That simply makes no sense at all.
Thank you for your review. Product tag filters are available to all stores as 'default filters' and can be renamed from the language editor of your online store, you can find more information on renaming default filters here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/filters. If you do not want to show all the product tags linked to your products as filter options, we recommend filtering by product metafields which you can customize for your store.
Filters are not working. Search is also not working. No support from team. After adding this app, my website search functionality NOT working.
Thank you for the feedback. The issue with products not showing in search results on your store appears to be resolved.
L'app non sembra male è interessante, l'unica cosa è che non vedo i prodotti complementari sul tema Dawn, c'è un modo per inserirli o per questo tema non è disponibile. Cosi 3 stelle, se si possono mettere ne metto 5.
Thank you for your feedback. The theme block for complementary recommendation is available in the latest Dawn release and has to be added in Theme Editor.
This app is the recommended one for my theme, but the filtering really stinks. You can't select two tags to filter and have it show only the products that have both tags. If it weren't for the fact that filtering like that is pretty standard, I would probably figure out a way to live with it. But now I have to go through all the other filtering and menu apps to try and resolve this and hope it works with my theme.
Hi, thank you for your feedback. For more advanced filtering capabilities, we recommend to use structured metafields.
Great way to boost products with larger inventory on Search and to upsell & grow average order value on each sale.
Is it possible to have the featured products also in the basket page ? Thanks a lot for your answer.
