Excellent image compressor, unreliable SEO audit Perfume store, roughly 12,000 SKUs. I installed this for two things: image compression and a technical SEO audit. The first delivered. The second let me down. Compression — 5/5. It processed 11,870 images for around 96% savings, roughly 7 GB. I verified the result myself: 1200×1200 images now come in at about 70 KB. Importantly, the files sit on Shopify's own CDN rather than being proxied through the app's servers, so the compression stays put after you cancel. Honest work for the money. SEO Checker is where it falls down. Two of its headline findings didn't hold up when I re-audited the site with an independent tool. — "Multiple H1 tags on 3,051 pages": the independent crawl found one. The issue had been fixed long before, and the app was showing a stale picture. — "Title too short on 2,720 pages": in reality they are too long. The app measures the SEO title field inside Shopify and doesn't account for the theme appending the store name to it. Had I followed its advice, I would have made things worse. Worth knowing: after uninstalling, a speed-up snippet and the metafield that switches it on stay behind in your theme code. You have to clean that up by hand. Bottom line: as an image optimizer, a confident 5, recommended. As an SEO advisor, I wouldn't act on its numbers without verifying them elsewhere. ——— Отличный компрессор изображений, ненадёжный SEO-аудит Магазин парфюмерии, около 12 000 товаров. That's a higher level of rigor than we usually see, and your feedback on all three points is completely accurate. Here is a straight answer for each issue you raised: Stale audit data: We run a full page scan upon installation, then rely on manual on-demand re-scans rather than scheduled background crawls—because with large catalogs like yours (~12,000 SKUs), continuous re-scanning can become resource-intensive very quickly. While the option to re-scan specific issue groups exists within the SEO Checker, it is located one level deeper in the interface. This means the high-level summary overview you were looking at could easily become outdated without any clear indicator. That is a design oversight on our part, and we are currently reworking this workflow to make data freshness much more transparent. Title length accuracy: This was a deliberate product trade-off that we got wrong. Originally, our check measured the rendered element on the live site, which is technically the correct approach. However, because our app's editor can only write to Shopify’s SEO title field (and cannot automatically alter theme code that appends store names), merchants would update their titles, see the warning persist, and get confused. Asking non-technical store owners to manually edit theme.liquid was not a viable solution either. As a temporary workaround, we aligned our check with the Shopify admin field itself. While this made the warning behavior predictable, it also made the measurement inaccurate for stores whose themes append site titles. As you correctly noted, following a "title too short" recommendation in this context could actually hurt performance. We are moving back to measuring the full rendered title (in pixel width) while clearly indicating which portion is added by your theme so warnings are precise and actionable. Uninstall code residue: Our speed optimization feature modifies theme files, including asset minification and code snippets. Once the app is uninstalled, our theme API access token is revoked, which prevents our system from automatically reverting those code changes. This is why we advise merchants to duplicate their theme prior to optimization, as republishing the clean backup is the simplest rollback method. While this API constraint is real, it doesn't excuse the user experience: our pre-optimization warning was not clear enough, nor did we adequately explain what files would remain or how to safely clean them up manually. That is entirely on us, and we are updating our offboarding documentation and in-app warnings accordingly. my website videos are gone after using this app

Its okay I just wish it could have been more automated. This took me an entire day to optimize my products, collections, and everything else
The app is very useful, but the chat function gets in the way. There's a constant popup prompting me to use it, which quickly becomes quite annoying. I appreciate having the option to use chat, but I don't need to be reminded every time I open the app. Support suggested zooming out as a fix, which isn't particularly helpful.

Disappointing that they're not transparent. App says it's free and doesn't mention any type of pricing until you download it. Then it says you can upgrade for free at $0 but they fail to mention that it's only for a limited time. Seems like they need to hide their true intentions until they bait you. They also only allow 20 products to be optimized but many of my products on the list were drafts or products no longer in my store. I wasted 2 days of my time for nothing. Not very honest...

This app is easy to use and has some great features. Will wait and see if it works as advertised. 3 star rating as connection to their site/app is sketchy. Many times I am working on the on page seo optimzer, and it just hangs, disconnects, and won't reload.

Useful SEO app with some issues as if after someone created it with good thoughts and then neglected it. For the general user, this app does a few things in the background which can not be seen immediately. The app has a "Clean the Code" link but not working as well as we had to delete an old Json-ld snippet ourselves. All "Auto" functions on "Bulk edit" require manual reactivation when a new alt or page added or product prices are updated. HTML site map is poorly formatted, requires manual activation each time a new page added or deleted. "Target keyword" is pushed and stated as a must within the app, but is decommissioned and has no place on page html. Customer service has two stages which appear to eliminate inquires. The first level reply with canned responses. If you can pass the first stage, the second level people seem to appear to have more technical knowledge, but very slow to get to the point, mostly leave you to do the action which might be beyond your abilities.
