WARNING – Misleading App, Broken Features, No Real Trial, No Refund – Total Scam We installed this app after reading the features it claimed to offer — but the reality is completely different and extremely disappointing. Yes, the app says there is a trial, but it’s useless. We wanted to test the main feature — importing products from Amazon.com — but you can’t test that without immediately upgrading to a paid plan. So let’s be clear: There is a trial, but it’s worthless. You’re forced to pay before testing anything meaningful. We subscribed for $19.99/month just to test ONE Amazon product. We configured the settings carefully, imported one product, and here’s what we got: - Product title was completely wrong - Description missing or filled with irrelevant junk - Useless metadata (ASIN, package size, seller rank, etc.) automatically added - No default stock control - No proper tag assignment - No real “import as draft” setting - Completely broken import experience We canceled the subscription within 30 minutes and contacted support immediately. Support was just as broken as the app itself. Same generic message copy-pasted over and over. Only after repeatedly messaging them did they admit the issues and say "they might be fixed in the future." So we asked: Why are we paying for a broken app? Their answer: “No refunds.” We didn’t even get to use the app. We tried ONE product. It failed. We canceled. And they still charged us $19.99 for a non-working, half-finished tool. This is not just poor service — it’s deceptive and unethical. Most of the positive reviews are likely fake. Who would pay for this mess and leave 5 stars? We took screenshots and screen recordings of the entire process and are filing a formal complaint with Shopify. This is scam-level behavior. Avoid at all costs. Don’t be fooled. Don’t lose your money like we did.
Let’s set the record straight, since your review is filled with misinformation and completely ignores the reality of how ShionImporter works. 1. “Misleading features”? Not at all. We support importing from 30+ websites, not just Amazon.com. Importing from Amazon is not our “main feature”—it’s one of MANY. Our app also offers price and stock monitoring, currency conversion, advanced pricing rules, automatic translation, AI-powered title and description generation, and a lot more. You clearly didn’t bother to explore any of these. 2. “No real trial”? False. We provide clear video guides and a full FAQ section—all accessible without a subscription—to show you exactly how the app works, step by step. If you’d spent a minute looking, you’d see detailed explanations and actual use cases. Complaining about “not understanding how the app works” just proves you didn’t care to check even the basics. 3. “Tried one product, canceled in 30 minutes.” So you’re admitting you didn’t even try the app properly. Instead, you rushed to uninstall and left a 1-star review without giving us a chance to help or actually test what the app can do. 4. “Missing features”? Completely wrong. We absolutely support stock control, draft imports, proper tags, and a ton of other options you didn’t even mention—simply because you never tried to use them. If something wasn’t working for you, it’s almost certainly because of your custom, broken Shopify theme—not because the features aren’t there. 5. “Support is broken.” Not true. We respond to every single support request—sometimes within minutes. If you send the same angry message over and over, you’re going to get our basic troubleshooting steps, because 99% of issues are fixed that way. We even offered to investigate your specific problem and make adjustments for your shop, but you never engaged beyond demanding a refund. 6. “No refunds for one-time use.” You paid for a plan, used the app, and then wanted your money back after 30 minutes because you didn’t bother to learn how to use it. Shopify’s billing policies are clear, and your request doesn’t qualify for a refund. This isn’t “scam-level behavior”—it’s you not reading or trying. Final note: Most users LOVE ShionImporter, and real businesses actually take the time to test and use its features. One-star reviews like this—full of inaccuracies, no actual testing, and clear intent to trash the app—look suspiciously like a competitor attack or someone who never intended to actually use the software. If you want real help, we’re happy to assist. But leaving fake, misleading reviews only hurts the Shopify community.

Thsi app has been very good. It's pretty simple to use and it has some great features. My only gripe, which keeps me from giving it 5 stars, is the extension does not consistently work. When I select a product using the created "S" Tab, the information does not polulate and I have to manually copy the link into the importer. And even then sometimes that does not work and the price adjustment feature does not always get the correct price. This still was not enough to keep me from saying that this is a good app. I found my workarounds.

We started using ShionImporter and right away you can see the difference between this app and all others. No one offers such a smooth integration with SHEIN and it is super easy to select products and add them to your shopify store. I highly recommend it.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience shopping with this dropshipping merchant! The range of products is impressive, and I found exactly what I was looking for in starting my own little shop. Easy navigation and quality products. Still starting out and tweaking here and there but this really helped me open shop and have courage to do dropshipping

ShionImporter Dropship: A Valuable Asset with Significant Service Concerns: As a drop shipper managing 3 storefronts, I have found ShionImporter Dropship to be a useful tool, offering good value for money. However, my recent experiences compel me to highlight some significant concerns. In the past few days, the service quality, particularly in terms of customer support, has been extremely disappointing. While the app functions well when operational, but brace yourself for less than favorable customer service imaginable during times of trouble. This stark contrast in app functionality versus support quality is jarring. The rest of my review remains unchanged, as the app does have its merits. It simplifies the dropshipping process significantly and is generally a reliable tool. Original Review: As a drop shipper, of 3 storefronts, I've found ShionImporter Dropship to be a very useful and good tool, making my experience in this field a positive one. It definitely offers value for money. Currently, I am on the premium plan, which meets all my needs at this stage. Over the last few days, I've been particularly impressed, despite initially encountering some glitches in the app. Now, I understand the reason behind these issues – they were making significant improvements. However, I do wish they had included a pop-up or a video tutorial to guide us through these new features. Overall, I am very happy with the app. On the downside, my experience with the Chrome extension has been less than satisfactory. It's been so problematic that I feel more comfortable operating directly within the app. This preference stems from the negative experiences I've had with the Chrome extension. Another area that needs attention is customer support. Unfortunately, ShionImporter doesn't offer real-time live chat, which is a significant drawback. After waiting 24 hours for a response to my detailed explanation of the issues I was facing, the support team's reply was underwhelming and not particularly helpful. It seemed as if they hadn't fully read or understood my concerns, which was frustrating. On the brighter side, I've only had to contact their support a few times. If it were more frequent, I might not have continued using the app. Through my journey with ShionImporter, I've learned a lot about drop shipping, including which companies and practices to avoid. Once you get the hang of it, it's truly a game-changer. While there are other apps out there offering a plethora of features, they often fall short in delivery. ShionImporter, on the other hand, effectively fulfills its promises. ShionImporter stands out for its ease to importing items within the app, and efficiency in order processing. While it doesn't automatically fulfill orders, it simplifies the process significantly. The app displays incoming orders, and with a simple click on “make order,” it directs you to the item. From there, you select the variant and input the necessary customer information and complete the order. This streamlined approach makes the fulfillment process quite straightforward for me. In conclusion, while ShionImporter Fashion Dropship is not perfect, it is a valuable tool for anyone in the drop shipping business. The positives certainly outweigh the negatives. I am hopeful that they will improve their support team's responsiveness and the quality of their assistance. A more attentive and helpful customer service would greatly enhance the overall user experience. Despite its flaws, I recommend this app to fellow drop shippers, as it has proven to be a good asset in my business endeavors.
