ShipHero Inventory & Shipping

We've been using Shiphero for over a year. Our 3pl moved to this system which is a world better than what they were using before, much more intuitive and we have only has a smooth and efficient experience with Shiphero. My only comment is that the interface could be a little more convenient with searching orders etc.

Been using ShipHero for about a year now, there is a steep learning curve, but once you understand it, it is an incredible tool that has helped us manage our inventory more efficiently than before. We have tried the competition, and ShipHero sits at the top handedly. The support we have received between onboarding through ongoing feature requests and maintenance questions, they have been a tremendous resource for us as a brand. Highly recommend.

worked well for us until it started randomly updating orders that we did not permit, updating addresses multiple times, and blocked me from logging in to make changes.... you can't just update your app and start changing things in a store with no email warning and no ability to turn it off.

Worst experience both with the app and the customer service. After we installed the app and our 3PL had tried to set it up with the help of customer services, they cancelled dozens of our orders due to a mistake made by one of their staff. It’s insane that staff can simply cancel orders and make refunds – even for orders that were assigned to a different site (not managed by Shiphero). The dashboard is complete garbage too. I would not recommend it under any circumstances.

We’ve used a lot of warehouse tools over the years, and ShipHero stands out as one of the few platforms that’s clearly built by people who actually understand fulfillment at scale. Once properly configured, it forces discipline into your warehouse in a way spreadsheets and lighter WMS tools simply can’t. The system scales with you. As volume grows, ShipHero doesn’t break — it gets more valuable. We’ve been able to build repeatable processes, real KPIs, and clear ownership across our team, which has directly improved fulfillment speed and reduced costly mistakes. Support has also been solid. When issues come up, the team understands warehouse reality and doesn’t give generic SaaS answers. That matters when orders are moving in real time. ShipHero isn’t the cheapest option — and that’s a good thing. It’s not meant for early-stage brands that want shortcuts. It’s for operators who care about precision, scalability, and building a warehouse that can handle serious growth. If you’re running meaningful volume and want a WMS that brings structure instead of chaos, ShipHero is absolutely worth it.

UPDATE 2nd September 2025: We're leaving our current 3PL because of this garbage app - it continues to sync our non USA orders causing a lot of inventory and reporting issues. Our 3PL uses ShipHero. Imagine waking up and finding orders cancelled and refunded in Shopify after a member of staff at our 3PL cancelled those orders in ShipHero. How on earth can ShipHero and an unknown member of staff at our 3PL using it have the authority to refund our Shopify orders? We obviously lost $$$$ in addition to getting customer complaints. Obviously we'd never authorisation for that. And the 2nd major issue is that we have multiple warehouse locations, but ShipHero will not sync only the orders at the location we want. It will sync ALL orders at ALL locations even though our 3PL doesn't process orders at those locations. Which brings up all kinds of data protection issues in addition to a messy ShipHero dashboard. How come you can't provide such a basic feature. If we just want our Timbuktu orders syncing, then that's what should happen. Finally, adjusting an order at a location will amend the inventory at all locations.A highly annoying issue. If ShipHero can't fix these core issues we'll actually leave our 3PL for another one - it's that bad. ShipHero has been fast asleep the last 4 weeks since our 3PL reported these issues to them - still no response.

It has been quite challenging to establish contact with Shiphero to begin using their services. The pricing structure seems unclear, and the tone of the sales call comes across as somewhat condescending. Additionally, communication has proven to be difficult. While the product itself may hold great potential, the initial experience in terms of trust and support has been disappointing.

Had a wonderful experience so far with ShipHero. They set up everything super quick and got me to being able to have my inventory tracked and my shipments out! Customer service was top notch! Kyle has been super helpful and responsive. He is very knowledgeable and has been super easy to work with. The system itself very user friendly. I love that I can set up kits within ShipHero without needing to have an extra app in Shopify. I love that I can tell exactly where my inventory goes and it tracks every change! I do wish ( or maybe I haven’t found it) there was an option to see how much inventory was used in the last 30 days. I also love how easy it is to pick and pack orders. Definitely the best system I’ve used so far for warehouse management

*What do you like best about ShipHero? Having attentive staff that quickly answers and fixes questions related to their platform. I have had numerous 'issues' and very few ended up requiring extended amounts of time to fix. Most issues are resolved the same day.. I really thank the staff for making Ship Hero an easy product to work with. * What do you dislike about ShipHero? Not being able to schedule reports to be be run at a certain time or on demand. In a given day I could download 20 or more reports as we have multiple clients and reporting requirements. In an ideal world I could kick off a custom job to pull all this data without having to go to each interface, wait while this loads and downloads..

Our company just finish on-boarding with Alissa who is the Senior Solutions Specialist. She is an all-star! We have gone through on-boarding with other programs that our company used previously and this is by far the best experience that we have ever had. Alissa is very knowledgeable, patient and genuinely kind. We were sad once our on-boarding process ended because we wish that we could continue working with her! Ship Hero has been the best system that we've been able to find for our company. Alias mapping SKUs, assembly bundles and other kits have been a breeze to set up and manage. Dynamic inventory has been a huge change to our system but it has truly helped us grow and track inventory more efficiently. Integrations with Amazon and Shopify work very well. Inventory adjustments push almost instantaneously to our sales channels. We are very happy with our experience so far. We only wish that Ship Hero had a manufacturing function so that we could use the program for all of our needs!

ShipHero has been an amazing partner for us. We launched with them back in 2021 when we migrated to Shopify and have used them as our Warehouse IMS/OMS. They have many advanced features that have helped us become much more efficient in our warehouse operations. We recently started also using ShipHero in our Shopify POS stores as well as their 3PL's on the East Coast. All of it has work seamlessly and easily enabled us to become an OmniChannel business. If you are an Ecommerce brand that owns and operates its own DC, I can't recommend ShipHero enough.

We have been absolutely blown away by the service that we received when learning about SH and ultimately going live with the product earlier this year! Our Solutions Specialist, Alissa Williams, was incredible and always replied to our needs within minutes, even when on vacation! We love how customizable the system is and have already been able to save a ton of time and money with switching to ShipHero! We would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to make the switch to a system that adapts and learns with you!
