They promised me a $100 gift card to listen to a sales pitch. Corbin Ekblad guaranteed it, but I never received it. They wasted my time and lied to me. Avoid this company at all costs!

Using ShipInsure for package protection has been a game changer! I used to spend a lot of time on the phone or over email contacting different shipping companies regarding lost packages, but now customers are able to file a claim on their own for their missing packages. This has saved me so much time and the customers are happier receiving a resolution in a timely manner. If I ever have any issues, I just send an email and I receive a reply back.

Support doesn’t respond to emails. Takes forever to get paid on claims and get this, they want to give you a bill credit for payment instead of paying the claims back to you. If the support would be more attentive I would be inclined to use their service but it’s a deal breaker when I email them 3-4 times and don’t ever receive a response.

At first, everything seemed promising—the product does work, but it has its limitations. I can’t set my own pricing without contacting them directly, and even then, it takes weeks for any changes to be made. Their support team completely disappeared after I asked basic questions, like why we were getting charged on our credit card and how their business model actually works. We’re being billed thousands and receiving reimbursements, but it’s all confusing, and we’re left without clear answers on how the whole process functions.

We used to spend hours each week dealing with carrier claims. ShipInsure has allowed us to avoid this entirely and is also making us money. I'm very happy with this app.

The support from this app is just terrible! Poor customer service, they don't respond to you after eamiling them several times, but they'll respond fast when they get reported to shopify. I've had the app on my store for over a month now and it has yet to be set up correctly. Support is pretty much non existant now. Will definitely look into another app cuz nobody has time to deal with all this nonsense.

scam!!! I set up this app and then went to file a claim & I was told they don't cover International shipments. Which according to their website, they do, but in actuality they do not!! However they charged my international customers for the protection upon checkout!! So my customers (and myself) believed they are covering the orders ! customer service is terrible, tookt weeks to even get an answer. An absolute scam! Am out of hundred of dollars & am so disappointed. DO NOT download this app!!

Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry that this experience was terrible for you, and we take full ownership of what happened. Our merchants are at the center of everything we do, and we promise to pay claims on everything that is not fraud. In this instance, we were informed by the carrier that it was still in transit and wanted to give them ample time to come through on their promise to deliver the package. Since this experience, we have changed our policy and will pay claims sooner and with less hassle. We have also substantially built out our claims department and are available 24/7. We were in the wrong, and we promise to be better for you and your customers moving forward.

Very responsive, easy to set up, and promptly took care of all the customization features that I needed. Customers have been happy with the claims process and it feels good to have the peace of mind that lost or damaged packages don’t come out of my pocket.
