It works, but there is a cookie issue. Also, in Safari (PC), it automatically transitions (scrolls) to the inline form. I had to control it with JS. Chrome plans to completely block third-party cookies in 2025, so there are future problems. These are inline issues, but of course they won't be displayed to people who have popup blocks, so switching to popups won't solve the problem. I think the solution is to add a popup function with a link trigger. The advantage of this form is that it registers you as a member at the same time as you submit it, which gives you an advantage in campaigns, etc. I hope they will address these issues soon.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS TO TEST IT!!! you will be stuck with remnants of it for ever. Limited app, no support, just absolultely terrible. You can't edit anything, change anything or delete anything. So disappointing.

Completely pointless app. Can't sort your data, filter it, search it. You can't even export the data.....

Truly awful. So glitchy it is impossible to create a form. Shopify should be ashamed to put their name on this. Fire whoever developed this.

It's a very limited app, for example of somehow you want to track form submissions in GTM, GA or Google Ads, it will be impossible, because even if it was developed by Shopify the forms will not send any standard events on submissions etc. Do you want to translate it? - impossible as well.

Fa schifo, volevamo inserire un pop-up di iscrizione newsletter su una pagina specifica, ma il plugin non permette di farlo...

Extremely Frustrating and Disappointing. I rarely leave reviews, but this app has caused me nothing but headaches. Despite being developed by Shopify, it’s shockingly limited. You have zero control over your own form data. I ran test submissions during setup, only to find out later that I can’t delete or manage any of that data. It just sits there with no way to clean it up. Worse, it creates numerous metaobjects that can’t be deleted, cluttering your backend with no way to clean things up. I’ve since read several other 1-star reviews from users dealing with the exact same issues and it’s clear nothing has been done to address them. Only one of my three forms integrates with Shopify Flow, even after following all setup instructions. I reached out to support and was told, “That’s just how it works.” No workaround. No real troubleshooting. Just a dead end. The email automation system is equally frustrating. You can’t assign different email templates to different forms, they’re all locked into the same default automation. Clicking the “Manage” link doesn’t do anything, and there’s no way to customize emails per form submission. This app seriously slowed me down while trying to launch my store. Support “submitted feedback” to the developer, but let’s be honest, that rarely leads to anything. Frankly, I expected much better from a built-in Shopify tool. This app doesn’t just fall short, it actively makes the Shopify experience worse.

Metafield cannot be removed and will not be removed even after uninstalling the application, metafield is pinned for the customer model and can't be moved or edited. Advisors tell me this is normal behaviour by they will consider an updte to include this option. What a joke! This is a weak and dishonest response. Tell the truth Shopify, its always the best policy dealing with customers. "I'm sorry, OUR app appears to have a fault where it leaves phantom code in your store's codebase. We don't know how to remove it, and it's not a high priority for us".

Just okay app. Biggest downfall is that it is made by shopify and for sure will turn into a paid service eventually. Shopify nickel and dimes customers by offering free services then converting them to paid once you are too far in to swith.

While the Shopify Form Builder app offers a promising concept for creating custom forms, its current implementation has significant drawbacks. Major issues: Creates numerous metaobjects that cannot be deleted through the interface, cluttering your store's backend No localization support, forcing all customers to view forms in English regardless of their selected language Forms cannot be translated or customized for different markets The complete lack of localization features makes this app impractical for multi-language stores. The unmanageable metaobject creation adds unnecessary complexity to store maintenance. Would not recommend until these core issues are addressed.

Thank you for your feedback. We are looking into this and will look to update once we've fixed this.

No CSS support, so styling forms is practically impossible. According to Shopify's SideKick, there is a limit of 25 forms. Not useful for long term, broad-based structures.
