The app does not always send email notifications to the store owner about new submitted forms.
I tried to test it on my website but the success page is not working
Limited customisation, no custom CSS, form submissions are permanent and no way to delete. Cannot customise email sent, very limited options such as changing the colour of the button and text. Appears to have good connectivity with Shopify, customer metaobjects etc. Field validation would also be handy for things like VAT numbers etc
Email functionality is not working
Changing the forms email adress would be great :(
In theory it is a great tool, but in practice it is super buggy and I never manage to finish because it will show an error of some kind. i.e. the field cannot be empty (but there is text writin in it) or there needs to be a pictrue ( but I selected without picture) So I havent actually managed to set up a form yet
While it's great that is completely free, I found it very glitchy. First of all, if you're running multiple forms, you won't be able to select and choose the workflow/email you want to send with a particular form (spent over an hour with customer support, at the end I was told it's not allowed and will only pick one email for all the forms?). Secondly when a customer subscribes, the form disappears and won't show again on the website (usually a pop-up should show up anytime a visitor open the website). Probably something to think about as features but if you're running only one campaign (i.e. getting customers email to subscribe to mail list) then it's a great app.
Works well for a single language store, but limited flexibility and no language translation.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback. You can now translate your Shopify Forms. https://changelog.shopify.com/posts/translate-your-shopify-forms-into-multiple-languages
Why is there no translate and adapt support? Since both are Shopify native and it's only text fields.

It would be better if we could add an image to the right or left of the form
You can't change the recipient!! Completely absurd.
Hi there! Just wanted to say thanks for the review and that you can now send the contents of a form submission to any email you'd like. You can see more on this page: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/promoting-marketing/create-marketing/forms-app/flow Once there select the "Send an internal email to a recipient of your choice after a form submission creates a metaobject entry" - Kyle
No translations features makes it useless, really.

Can not edit at all!! Now I can’t add a new line to the form. Can type but can’t click done to save it. Horrible. Now I either have to make it all over again or find a new software app.

Useless for Lead magnets. This doesn't even connect to Shopify flow Should be able to create a form, name, email address then connect the specific form to shopify flow to send out lead magnets and add to mailing lists. It really needs better integration with flow, I have multiple lead magnets but the form is pretty much useless Doesnt do basic things !!!
Hi there, DaVinci! There is a way to do this today, and I'll outline the steps for you below! You need to click more actions in your form and click 'view segment'. Once in your segment copy your segment id, it should be something like "shopify-forms-#####". 1.) Go into Flow create an action called "customer tag added", 2.) Create a condition to check if "shopify-forms-#####" exists. 3.) If yes, create another condition and check if "shopify-forms-#####-submitted" 4.) If no, create an action that will add a customer tags and add "shopify-forms-#####-submitted". 5.) If no to step 3, send an email. It should look something like this: https://screenshot.click/20-24-52qnd-hox3l.png You can copy/paste that .png and it should allow you to see the image!
I can't find the data that the user filled in through the form
Hi, there! Thanks for taking the time to complete a review for the Forms App! You should be able to see the information provided by your forms by following these steps from this help document (https://shopify.link/35og): From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Forms. On the Overview page, do either of the following: To view the submissions for all of your forms, click Total submissions in the metrics section. To view the submissions for a specific form, click the title of the form that you want to view, and then click Submissions in the metrics section. If you need some additional assistance with accessing and managing your forms, please reach out to our Support Team using this link: https://shopify.link/vRnL. -Imogen, Shopify Support
Been waiting too long to update with the markets feature...
Hey Done! Although we don't have a timetable on this being considered to roll-out as a feature, we certainly appreciate the feedback. This helps us steer the direction of the Shopify to continue developing a feature rich platform. - Dirk, Shopify Support
The application is an excellent idea, I installed it to be able to run a Shopify flow automation, I contacted shopify support informing them of the errors in it, and the support team reports that the application does not work, a few days later they report that They already fixed it, but the app still doesn't work, I found several flaws: 1. It doesn't allow you to embed a form on a specific page. I followed the installation instructions step by step, but it doesn't allow you to embed the form. 2. Since I couldn't embed the form, I configured it to appear as a pop-up, but the pop-up also doesn't appear on the only page I want it to appear. It should be noted that I followed step-by-step installation instructions. 3. The only thing they fixed is that the form no longer appears on all pages when activated. The recommendation is to remove the application from the app store if it does not work correctly.
Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. As we can completely understand the impact of this, I've gone ahead and shared your feedback with our developers to consider in future updates. - Blair, Shopify Support
The app is great but only if you want the form on ALL pages.... i needed a sign up form for different events, on different pages, and if you add the form its automatically added to every page on your site and after 5+ hours of trying to get around that, and 2 hours with shopify support, I was told to choose another app and that it's impossible to do what I'm looking for. As I do events and I need specific forms for each different event, I'll try another app as I don't want the sign up form on all the pages. note: this app also only allows you to use ONE form at a time. Wasnt what I needed.
Hey there! I'd love to help you with this. If you are using a newer 2.0 theme then you can embed the form you wish on specific page templates using the inline form option. You can learn more about this option here: https://shopify.link/zGyK. Create unique templates for each page/collection you need and embed the desired form. If you are using an older theme type, then this option won't be available at this time. You would need to manually embed a form, or using a different form app. Definitely connect with our support team for more details on using page templates! -Shay, Shopify Support
The form builder is ok, but the documentation is terrible, and there is no support from Shopify. We wanted to do a very standard and simple form in a section of a custom landing page. This is not possible. The form app is still using json templates and not liquid so its not possible to embed into template using code
Thank you for your review and feedback. I will be sure to relay this to our developers. -Emily, Shopify Support
