Real easy to set up and pretty complete, however, it is too bad that the forms don't load on Iphone..

It's OK for a very basic use especially for start ups. However disappointing that extraction of the data captured is not possible unless you install another 3rd party app which you might need to pay for.
Hi there! While exporting data directly from metaobjects (where the data is stored) is not yet possible. You can install Flow and use the "export to google sheet template" https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/promoting-marketing/create-marketing/forms-app/flow. Flow is a Shopify app and is free to use. - Kyle

Good at collecting the data but to reply directly to a form you need to create a completely new email thread? and can't reply directly to the form submission email? Unless i'm wrong then happy to update review!

Covering many basic properties of forms functionality it does allow to collect data. But the lack of making translations to the fields or changing styling is despite of many requests in forums a bit of a statement of not listening to urgent customer needs or thinking functional scenarios completely through.

****UPDATING MY REVIEW**** They fixed the bug where you cannot uncheck required so updating to 3 stars. Very limited customization and no easy way to customize css do to its use of a custom element and a shadow DOM, so you cannot just add css to control the form and any form you make will not match your existing website css but will have its own css that cannot easily edit. There also appears to be a bug where you cannot uncheck required for First name and Last name fields.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback. We fixed the bug that was preventing you from making first name/last name fields required. Currently, adding css customizations isn't possible. This is an area we've heard feedback around and are looking at ways to improve the design flexibility of forms. For now, customizability is limited to the options in app. - Kyle

It works, but you cannot style it because it is inside a shadow-root, and you cannot translate the content in multiple languages. Workaround is to copy paste the form and make different ones for each language, filtering in the code on selected localization / language. But I expected a Shopify app to at least provide the possibility to translate in their own translation app Translate & Adapt...

Great idea but very slow loading, so customers bounce before form loads. Also annoying that email notifications can only go to the registered email address with shopify.

I want the forms app not to make it required to capture a phone number or an e-mail. Also being able to customize the css of the forms would be nice. Sometimes dropdown menu's won't open and you have to remake them again. Decent app for now but needs some updates to be great.

love the out of box ease of use but for more experienced users can we inject custom css to better control the design?

I need more features to replace google forms with this for contact and survey purpose. 1. Description text to each field 2. Label text of some field types is out of input field and some is in the input field. No consistency. Bad looking. 3. Multi line text field should be longer automatically while writing long texts. 4. Conditional logic

is there anyway I can customize the popup style? This app doesn't look good, what should I do if I want to change the popup size or the font size or something else?

Nice but, the forms use a completely different css than the rest of the theme. Doesn't make any sense. I can't even override it with custom css. Also it doesn't support Shopifys Translate App nor does it take the default theme content. So you get a mix up of english and your original language when using the app....

The way it integrates with Shopify is excellent; however, I would love to design the form and add steps within the modal before the form shows. The completion rate is usually better if you ask the visitor a question first, and once they engage by clicking a button to agree they want..., only then present the form. I would also love to be able to design how the form looks and feels. Maybe add a custom CSS and provide id/classes as a beta.

I cannot received emails once the customer sent in a submission .

You can also find these customers by opening the app in your admin, selecting one of the created forms, and click "View segment" in the top right corner. App keeps losing custom fields, which I have to keep re-adding when I notice customer data is missing. Not reliable enough for custom forms, other than default name & email, which is already built into the platform.

I'd give 5 stars if it would send me an email with customer-submitted info. Now you have to check manually the forms app. Might need to change to another app just because of that.
