I had no problems installing and activating this app :) I use Shopify Email, and I missed a pop up form in that app, so when I discovered there was one, just seperat, I was glad. And I could easily adjust colors, font and add a photo to the form so it matches my theme. I also checked the form by signing up an email and it worked and the "lead" went directly into my email list :) 5 out of 5 stars

Could you create a function where the popup stops being shown for a while if the customer clicks on "X" to close the popup without signing up? Because it continues to open even if I click close, when I load the page again, the popup appears. This is boring.

For example, if you wish to limit the number of times a customer sees it, you can set it to appear only on specific page types. Additionally, you can choose to delay the trigger for the first, second, or third page view. Furthermore, you have the option to set a timer for when you want the pop-up to be displayed. -Mac, Shopify Support

The application is easy to install but it pops up automatically to all customers, even if they are already registered. It doesn't make much sense to use it for subscription pop-ups because it appears constantly even if you have registered. Hello again! I told the technical service and they said that it was not possible to solve the problem. Even if the customer had subscribed and closed the form, the pop up still appeared in the following searches.

Thank you for your feedback! Depending on how the customer closes the form the Forms app stores completed submissions in "dismissed-after-submit" local storage in the customer's browser without any expiration date. This means that a customer will not see the form again on the browser they submitted their submission on. If a customer clears their browser cache, they would then see the form once again. is there anyway I can customize the popup style? This app doesn't look good, what should I do if I want to change the popup size or the font size or something else?

10 Stars! I have no idea why the other reviews for this app are so bad. I have had an issue for a while where using third party apps such as Klaviyo and Mail Chimp etc, it is impossible to have a pop up that will enter people into your Shopify email work flow unless you use the third party's email automations instead. After countless hours trying to solve this issue, I came across Shopify forms which has solved that issue for me literally at the click of a button. Thank you Shopify for such a great addition to your already incredible software. I look forward to seeing what comes next!

Nice but, the forms use a completely different css than the rest of the theme. Doesn't make any sense. I can't even override it with custom css. Also it doesn't support Shopifys Translate App nor does it take the default theme content. So you get a mix up of english and your original language when using the app....

The way it integrates with Shopify is excellent; however, I would love to design the form and add steps within the modal before the form shows. The completion rate is usually better if you ask the visitor a question first, and once they engage by clicking a button to agree they want..., only then present the form. I would also love to be able to design how the form looks and feels. Maybe add a custom CSS and provide id/classes as a beta.

I'm not sure why they don't have any CSS or allow formatting to the theme. I rarely use this app because it looks different than my entire website. All of the other Shopify apps come with custom CSS options - like Mail or the customizer. Makes no sense that we can't even use a theme font! This is such an easy update Shopify! Please fix.

The popup does not get closed in iPhone, upon complaining customer care promised to help me, they said they're working on it and they will keep me updated, they did not provide any solution its been a month and they also haven't updated me on anything terrible experience.

Updating review Feb 27, 2024 Excellent overall. Does what it says, and thank you for listening to previous feedback and making changes accordingly. Some additional functionality like opting to NOT add a default tag to customers, or allowing to inject custom styles (the default mobile styles make the form nearly unusable) would improve the experience from a shop owner's perspective. -------- Previous review: Nov 5, 2023 Largely does what it says out of the box. But extremely frustrating that it basically ignores existing customers. So if you want t add a tag for example, it'll only work for new email addresses, making this a very limited use case app.

Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback. At this stage, adding tags to an existing customer is a limitation of the Shopify Forms app. As a workaround, you may be able to create a Shopify Flow workflow: https://shopify.link/6kox that can check your existing customer list for any that meets the tag requirements, and apply the tag that way. This would work on a case by case basis however, depending on your store's use case, but is definitely worth considering. I'll be sure to pass on your feedback to our internal development team for consideration though, so that they're aware of the needs you've shared with us here in your review. It's called Forms, but should be called "A Form" I would like to see this app support multiple forms across the store. Right now, the app allows creation of a single form only. It does only one thing - create a pop up form to collect email sign ups on your store. A pretty useful and basic functionality, but it would be so much more helpful if more than one forms could be created.

You're able to add and remove fields to customize these forms for different purposes. You can also find these customers by opening the app in your admin, selecting one of the created forms, and click "View segment" in the top right corner. La app es muy buena pero presenta problemas con Iphone para el cierre del popup. Agradecería si me ayudan a solucionarlo en mi web. El popup solo cierra si le das doble click. cosa que es perdida de tráfico

I'd give 5 stars if it would send me an email with customer-submitted info. Now you have to check manually the forms app. Might need to change to another app just because of that.
