L'application est correct rapport à l'ancien Order Printer (Legacy). Mais un point très agaçant. Les cases à cocher pour la sélection des différentes pages créées (Facture et Bordereau d'expédition) ne sont pas mémorisées lors du prochain accès à l'application. Par exemple, j'imprime généralement uniquement le bordereau de livraison et je suis obligé de décocher à chaque fois toutes les autres pages créées. Il faudrait faire en sorte de mémoriser la sélection dans votre application. Le problème a été résolu grace à l'aide Shopify par un point que je n'avais pas vu. Finalement je suis totalement satisfait ! Ah... Ce serait une bonne chose d'arranger le petit souci du sous-total lorsqu'il y a des remises pour que ça correspondent à ce que nous avons en fait dans l'admin de la commande qui prend bien en charge les remises. Un sous-total doit normalement être sans inclure les remises (sur la commande et la livraison). Ensuite, doivent être déduites les remises, et ensuite le total final.

I was unsettled by the many bad recessions. But I didn't let that stop me from trying. After 10 minutes it was done and everything runs as smooth as it did before. I found it easy to migrate my templates. But I am very interested in programming and so I am able to read, understand and edit html or other codes. So I agree - a user without any programming background may find this very difficult and will need further instructions or help.

We have been fairly happy with the new Order Printer. Customizing the template worked out for us. A couple of things we would like to see, however. 1) A unit price (or price each) and then a total price for each line item ordered. 2) On local pickup orders, have the Packing Slip show the name, address, phone, etc. of the purchasing customer.

This update is a significant improvement for us! We now have the ability to include more detailed information in our invoices and packing lists, thanks to the use of metafields, customer notes, and a wide range of variables and styles. While the new requirement for object names in variable names was unexpected, it ultimately allowed us to enhance our documents exactly how we wanted. It would have been convenient to automatically transfer the old Order Printer Templates, but we understand it’s a complex task. Overall, great job on this much-needed upgrade!

I really can't see ANY benefits to this new app. We copied our templates and it's unusable. After a few hours we had got it almost back to as it was by changing the variables. Luckily I know a bit of liquid coding but I know many do not. What was the point in that in all that work - what have I gained? Shopify say there is going to be a migration tool coming soon... I don't think it can come soon enough.

Do not remove the legacy order printer until you get at least a 4-star rating. The new printer performance is absolutely terrible and unacceptable and currently not compatible with 3rd party product option and variance apps.

Shopify forcing the migration without putting any measures in place to help support template migration is a joke. Shopify is not the company they were 10 years ago, absolute travesty. *** UPDATE *** Using the app further it is far and above a DOWNGRADE from the previous Order Printer app. Shopify is USELESS in assisting with migrating order templates. I have had to figure out liquid coding on my own and even then it barely works. This app is terrible and Shopify should be ashamed for their complete and utter failure to migrate effectively. Shopify is a shell of what it once was.

POOR Product rollout! Programming experience over 30 years and took me a day and a half to re configure the template we use. The Shopify Help Center documentation is inconstant: 'weight' variable' to be changed to 'grams' for some reason, then farther down is says change 'grams' to 'weight' . Proofing and ask the question 'WHY' do we need to change the variable name seems to be a needed thing. Also, WHY would you put pricing on the shipper template? Also, one of the reasons you say the changes were needed was to save paper and ink. Well, Your new invoice template was printing a blank sheet of paper before printing the invoice. I expect better quality control from Shopify and feel bad for the MANY that now have to pay someone to try and RE Fix their templates so they can become usable again.

This app is a desaster. I tried to use the template of the old order printer app which I was using now for years and have translated it, since my shop is in German. The new version just deletes my translation. When I copied my translated template from the old version of Order Printer to the new version it didn't work. Please stop dictating customers which app to use if you don't have the minimal of foresight that there are people acting in a different language than English.

I don't think I've ever been more mad at a developer than I am at the Shopify devs right now. They've bugged the legacy invoice generator and are too stupid to just roll it back like any other platform would do. The fact they apparently don't have regression testing for the biggest e-commerce platform on Earth is mind boggling.

JUNE 24 - While we were able to successfully import our template from the legacy app, there is still coding adjustments required (layout is not the same, scaling is off, header is gone). We uninstalled and re-installed the app thinking it was an import snafu, but we are still having this issue. We are eager to make this transition but need to import our template exactly as it appears on the legacy app. Please assist, we have not gotten a response from Shopify support. JUNE 6 - As a long-time user of the legacy app, we were initially optimistic about transitioning to the newer version, however our experience has left us disappointed. The primary issue stems from the incompatibility between our custom template, which was meticulously crafted to suit our specific needs, and the new app. Despite reaching out to Shopify's support team, who were indeed helpful in their assistance, the ultimate verdict was disheartening: our template is simply "not compatible" with the new app. The lack of compatibility and the requirement for coding knowledge makes it inaccessible and impractical for users like us. I sincerely hope that future updates will address these issues and make the transition smoother.
