Shopify Subscriptions

its impossible for customers to cancel a subscription through this app. if you are doing large numbers of subscriptions this would be SUPER CHALLENGING! For my small business the free part outweighs the inconvenience of the customer needing to email me to cancel vs doing it themselves.
I wish it was easier for us to access and change customers subscriptions settings on their behalf
customers can't adjust on their end
Needs Major Improvements for Real-World Merchants I really wanted to like Shopify Subscriptions — it seemed like a clean, native solution. Unfortunately, it falls short in a few critical ways that make it hard to manage customers and maintain trust. First, subscription pricing doesn’t update when product prices change. Customers continue seeing old prices in their accounts, which causes confusion and unnecessary emails trying to clarify what they’re actually paying. This should be basic functionality. Second, there’s no way to “Ship Now” or manually adjust the next processing date. That’s a major frustration for both merchants and customers. When someone wants to move up their next order, the only workaround is to cancel and start a new subscription — which is clunky and completely unnecessary. I’ve contacted Shopify multiple times, and while support is friendly, these limitations have existed for months with no sign of change. I love Shopify as a platform, but this app feels unfinished and lacks the flexibility that serious subscription businesses need. Please prioritize these features — they’re essential for merchants who rely on subscriptions to keep customers happy.
There are a lot of featurs that i wish this app had.. namely i wish there was a way that you could see when a subscription was going to be coming due in a whole schedule and not having to click on them individually to see the next subscription date.. also wish they could select the day that they want their subscription to renew. or adjust the date that they picked.
This app works for a very basic/specific use case, but I would not recommend it for anyone with lots of subscriptions. Here are the main issues we ran into: 1. No API. Even though Shopify has a GraphQL subscriptions api, you can not view/edit subscriptions created by apps, so it doesn't help here. 2. No ability to search subscriptions. 3. No way to create subscriptions from the Admin Dashboard. 4. No way to find failed payments so we can follow-up with customers. 5. The UX for updating a payment method is confusing. You have to add a payment method to your account, and then update the subscription payment method. Customers often miss the second step. 6. Cancelled subscriptions can't be restarted. Subscriptions can't be deleted. 7. The export UX is a bit inconvenient. You have to keep the same window open, even if it takes 30 minutes or an hour to export. It would be better if it sends you an email with a link instead. 8. No activity log. We can't see what emails were sent, or what updates were made on subscriptions. Don't get me wrong, this app works fine for a very simple use case, but it's missing some important features for advanced subscription users.
Why isn't there a way to alter CC charge date?
Not as full-featured as you would expect a subscription tool from Shopify to be.
When I have different variants on the subscription, it doesn't show the right sku on the order- which SUCKS. So I don't know what the customer actually wanted.
need more flexibility for the customer to amend orders
