Only good for a store that sells one item. No discount codes can be applied which means volume breaks don't work.

This seemed like an easy app and I was thrilled to see it however, once it was installed, the subscribe and save option could only appear at the top of the page instead of organically within the add to cart area as shown in the images used in the app details on the shopify app store. In addition, even when the code was added as directed by the shopify helpdesk, the subscribe now button would not appear. I will be uninstalling as it clearly did not have the kinks worked out.

We have been waiting for this for ages and were so excited to see it finally launched, but the recurring charge does not include shipping in the total, so it is unusable. Please add shipping to the recurring charge amount on the checkout page so customers (and shops) can see the total £/amount they agree to pay monthly. I don't want to give this one star. I see the effort and intent to help (thank you), but hiding shipping will create problems and awkward conversations with customers.
Thank you for your feedback on surfacing the recurring shipping costs at checkout We have informed our development teams and will include it in future updates. Stay tuned! We value your feedback for improving our app. Best, Ameya Bongale Product Manager, Subscriptions

Finally this app is now available on all Shopify plans (for Free) and easy to set-up and use! I would have given this 5 stars if there was a way to set a minimum repeat order amount - ie commit for a minimum of 3 repeat orders

So far this looks promising, but still very entry level. Not a whole lot of flexibility or customization. I have not gone live yet, as I am trying to figure out how to import my current Recharge subscribers over.
Thank you for your valuable feedback on our Shopify Subscription app. While our app focuses on simplicity and basic use cases, we understand your desire for additional flexibility. You can look at our help documentation https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/purchase-options/shopify-subscriptions/import-export for importing contracts. so far looks good with our site and very easy to manage, only issue is that it glitched and added the subscription buttons under the footer on top of already being in the product description like it's supposed to. been in touch with shopify support and apparently they're looking into it so hopefully it's fixed soon

Have not launched yet, but the onboarding is very smooth. Native Shopify menu of course, quick and easy addition of selling plan and frequencies (along with discounts per frequency). Shopify calls subscriptions "Contracts" and shows up in a contracts sub menu. Widget needs to be installed in theme, and the customer needs a way to access a portal - which Shopify has married to the new customer login 2.0 So far so good...

I was really excited about this and it is good for a lot of things! However, it does not offer the option to pay the full amount upfront and have the delivery be done every month. We are trying to have the option to pay in full and then have auto-generating orders populating based on that but not charging the customer every month. IDK maybe I am missing it. I am open to feedback and ideas!
Hello, Thank you the feedback for accepting payments for pre-orders (pay in upfront and delivery in month) for subscriptions. We have communicated your feedback to our development for future updates. It's a good start, but the functionality is extremely limited for someone coming from one of the paid subscription apps. For example you cannot choose a specific date a customer will be charged for their subscription every month. Hopefully they will keep developing features and add options in the future. Edit: just changed my review to one star because customers only get a single shipping option, no matter how many options you have available
Hi, we appreciate your feedback about anchor dates and the ability to select multiple shipping options. We have informed our development team about adding them for potential future updates. Just installed then immediately uninstalled as it failed at the first hurdle, I would have hoped that these issues would have been ironed out beforehand, considering how long it has taken to be released.

As a company with 90% of business as subscriptions, this is a crucial component to our business. We serve over 3,500 recurring customers, so we are quite familiar with this process. We have been excited about this app for quite some time now! Other apps take a big murky commission, don't integrate with Shopify well, and don't have the User Interface customers deserve. I'm writing this review in the hopes Shopify will improve it, and we can switch ASAP. Shopify here's what you need to do! 1. Offer a minimum quantity, for example we don't deliver less than 4 jugs. 2. Offer quantity break discounts, for example buy 4 jugs get 10% discount, buy 6 jugs get a 15% discount. 3. Offer a way to integrate customer's data from other subscription apps like Bold. This will save customers the time to have to resign up, since all of their payment data is already saved in Paypal or Stripe. 4. Make a way for customers to pay with shop pay, a credit card, paypal, or with coinbase integration. 5. Provide analytics, like customer retention, average subscription length, upcoming revenue, amount of subscriptions and history of growth, lifetime value, average subscription amount, and paused subscriptions with option to message them. 6. Make a nice customer interface that lets business choose what options customers can edit. Happy to provide lots more feedback if someone wants to reach out to us, that would be much appreciated.

- Limited options generally - Can't choose to sell all products, or a category or by tag with subscriptions - Must pick one and one product into a subscription. Then it crashes! I had to make 4 subscriptions profiles to fit all our 200+ products in subscriptions. - No translations possible for text displayed on product page (English only) - Disappointing! - Still no fix to offer customers more than - 1 - shipping option (not app related but still - come on guys!) This is still the same app i pilot tested this summer, but i can't see any changes. I would recommend Shopify release a proper update at least to the points above, to make this app worth using. I really hope you work on this app!

Not formatted well for mobile. Lines cut off onto a 2nd level. If you have multiple delivery options they all stack and takes up alot of room instead of having a drop down or boxes option. Cant complain too much since its free but Shopify can do alot to improve it! Im not sure Im going to use it until its better formatted.

Shopify should really have this integrate into the draft orders as well, so we can take subscription orders over the phone or email. Overall it's good. I like that it's free unlike competitor apps

Nice, that Shopify makes an own Subscription app which is free, but unfortunately it only works with "new customer accounts" which is pretty bad when you don't want to use these (because of bad brand experience and no design control).
Hi! Whether you are using new customer accounts or classic customer accounts, you can use our subscriptions app. Customers can manage their subscriptions by clicking the Manage your subscription from your automated subscription email notifications. There are also instructions under the Customer Subscription Management section here on how to add the Manage Subscriptions link to classic customer accounts. https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/purchase-options/shopify-subscriptions/setup Hope this helps!
