Simply Shipping Protection

Had trouble getting with the setup, but it was fixed quickly.

Simply Shipping Protection is a great app with really good support. Our wishes were tailored to in a very professional manner. We shall be expanding to two more Shopify expansions stores with Simply Shipping Protection.

New to the app, had to choose between 3 different ones to use for my store but in the end I choose this one. Instantly I had a javascript/code error and app didn't work at all. I Reached out by their support ticket and got a answer very fast and the engineers started working on the fix for me on my Shopify store immediately. 10/10 support.

A very good app with a professional support team. It may occasionally have issues with other discount apps.

Hard to install and never got working correctly. Communication with support didn't yield the results we'd hoped for. Could not get the system functioning consistently, resulting in angry customers. Also, a HUGE issue was when we performed an uninstall of the app, their code was left in our system and we had to pull it out ourselves. Sloppy coding practices. Would not recommend.

Great app but horrible support. They are never on a their app chat! and when you email them they respond like a robot without proper english! We have contacted them 3 days in a row about our orders not auto fulfilling because of their product but no care in the world to respond to their customers even though we are on their highest plan that promises "expert Support"

I have been a long time customer and the support has been absolutely terrible for the last year or so and i am tired of begging for support. I would look elsewhere.

Great app with good customer service!

July 22/24 Still no response. Worst support ever. May 27/24 Update: After a call with the dev team 6 weeks ago, I was told to expect a fix in a week or two... Six weeks later, no sign of live whatsoever. They don't answer emails, they obviously don't care about their users. If I could give zero stars I would. Feb 16/24 App does not work properly with ReCharge. Many attempts to get support. Emails take days to get a response, with no solution offered.

We recently switched from Route Purchase Protection to using this app instead. We have started on the Free plan just to try it out but so far, the experience has been great! The support team is very responsive, usually responding within 24h and having the issue fixed in 24-48h. Despite not being on a paid plan, they've offered extensive help to our team. We will be upgrading our plan next month for a product launch and looking forward to seeing how well it works on a larger scale.

Great app & support was superb quick.

3/10 Update: Avoid this app if you value your revenue. It completely removed our store’s checkout button, and the team behind it seems clueless about fixing the issue. The checkout button only appears sporadically, resulting in lost sales. If you’re okay with losing money, go ahead and keep using this app. Original: Was good when I started using it but the support has been unresponsive for days, ive had it installed for 5 days so far and support is not there for 4 days. Claim page is non existent and they are not helping on getting it to show up. We are currently looking for other options where support is more available. I would keep on looking if you think you are going to need help with the support aspect or a claim page.

Very happy with the app and the customer service. I asked for 4 things that would like to be looked at and the team acted on all of them in very timely manner. The app is pretty nice to use and simply to grasp after awhile. Highly recommend.

Great customer service. Ran into a bug with the code and support was able to come in and fix it without any issue!

Edit: almost a year later and every time we update our theme this app breaks our cart again. Today, the problems don't prevent checout but it does things like hide the products in the cart so you can't see them. This app is complete trash. This app totally messed up our cart during Black Friday and they won't respond! They won't refund us either. Simply no response at all. The app won't allow the customer to decline the insurance. Very frustrated since they wont respond to us - we have tons of customer complaints and who knows how many just didn't check out. Extremely frustrated.

Every single store should have this app, its a no brainer. You can instantly add 1.5-3% in revenue and/or pure profit. 95% of my customers keep the shipping protection in their cart and based on the product and location, I choose whether or not to actually purchase shipping protection when purchasing the shipping label. Typically it only costs 1% of the total value to actually insure packages so you're still adding profit that can offset your transaction fees! I wish I started using this app sooner!

Cool app, Greate customer service! they answered fast and solved my problem, and don't even have the premium plan yet.

It's incredibly easy to integrate into your online store and does so automatically. This app is an absolute must-have if you're running an e-commerce business. I highly recommend giving it a try!
