I have been a customer for a long time and love the app, HOWEVER, I am giving a 1 star review right now because the menu has gone completely blank with no fix. No matter what I do the menu is completely gone and my site is not navigable. I guess I'm shut down for the day. Beware of this if you are thinking of using the app.
We're so sorry for the problem. Shopify has just released a new update for its data-loading method without any announcement, so we've tried our best to update Smart Menu instantly to match the new requirement. The downtime was still nearly 1 hour, we're sincerely sorry for this incident. The menu should be working normally now, could you check again please? If not, please try to hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) to clear cache, or contact us at support.qikify.com. Apologize for any inconvenience and hope for your sympathy.

I wrote an earlier review and gave it 5 stars – but they are worthy of another one for another reason! This app not only makes my store look great. It is easy to use and their support is amazing. They are very responsive and are easy to communicate with. I thought their app was causing a conflict with my theme -- it turned out it was not, and they even went a step further to diagnose my issue and help me when my third-party theme developer was unresponsive after over a week. When I first installed it, they also helped with a customization. Thank you so much, Qikify...for your well-thought out, easy to use app and your wonderful customer service.

The app works really well and is intuitive to use but allows for lots of options. I had some issues with mobile vs desktop but service was really good and someone assisted me in fixing the issue I was having. I recommend the app.

PATHETIC APP & WORST SUPPORT EVER FOUND ON SHOPIFY APP. I tried to load the app the first time and was not loading and stuck on progress bar. Tried multiple time and once in while it opened. Don't go with another app as plenty of good apps out there. WASTED MY TIME. Edited - As you said you didn't change anything in my store. So please don't say that - you made changes to my store and its working fine. Seriously you GUYS are RESPONDING FAKE RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW so that others can see you helped me.
Hi Unimakers, Sorry for your bad experience with our app. You are using Dropship theme (not offical Shopify theme). So you need to use the advanced method (CSS selector) to add Smart Menu. We helped you add Smart Menu and it's now working perfectly on your store. Could you check again please?

The app is very easy to work with. But the thing that is really outstanding is their Customer Service. Insane to see how fast their team responds and how fast they help you solve your issue.

Very intuitive. Easy to build a detailed, yet easily navigable menu. Can keep things invisible until ready to go when kinks are ironed out, which is great.

This is the third menu app that I've tried. Like most, I usually start with an app that has the most downloads. Why didn't I use this one FIRST?! It's the best by far. Took only a few minute to set up. I needed some technical help to tweak a few settings and Henry replied and edited my site in less than 12 hours. Keep in mind, these were settings that I wanted special for me. Thrilled!

Easily having separate menu for desktop and mobile is remarkable point. It provides many kind of templates and easy to create original menu system based on them. We've evaluated some of mega menu apps and encountered compatibility problem with themas we are using and this app is no exception however the support team engineers were working hard to fix it. We recommend the app to all the shops who intend to implement rich menu system. It's five star app and support!

This app is free and good to use. However, when you open the store in mobile screen size on desktop, then maximize the windows, you will see that the desktop menu not working in a proper way. Sometimes, the speed of the menu replacing the original menu is slow and even cannot be loaded. But it is good for a free app.

Worked easily with our theme, came across difficultly getting the sticky header menu to change and the developer took care of it directly in 1 day.

spent a lot of time on it, got it to work, and realized once you scroll down, the menu can't be click. Emailed support a couple times and no answer.

If you don't find our replies, maybe they were moved to Spam folder, could you check again please? Your Turbo theme is a complicated case and though we'd tried our best, we couldn't make our app fully compatible with it. (Our app is compatible with most of Shopify official themes, you can see our list of compatibilities here: support.qikify.com/portal/kb/articles/list-compatible-shopify-themes-and-instruction). Overall, Smart Menu boasts the cleanest design, cleanest interface, and most technical flexibility of the mega menus I've tested. This menu's killer feature is ability to create text link lists using collection tags—This feature alone is worth the subscription. There are a couple wish-list features I'd love to see added to improve this menu: 1) adding the ability to pull in recent blog articles and 2) adding the option to create lists from collections in order to make the process of creating and managing "Best Sellers" or "Editor's Choice" type link lists significantly more efficient. Nonetheless, highly recommended if you find Shopify's default navigation severely lacking and you are frustrated with the difficulty of competing mega menu apps.

After having some customization done by Hannah from the support team, this menu looks great. My biggest problem was with the menu's positioning feature called "masonry". It seemed to keep changing the position of the submenus on menus that had images. It appears to be fixed with custom CSS adjusting the vertical spacing, and image size. Their contact form is great and looks professional.

Took a little to wrap my head around the different templates, placement etc. I'm very happy with it now though. We are a small store with a wide and varied range - mens/womens/kids clothing, boots, hats, belts...plus giftware...plus saddlery...plus veterinary supplies...plus animal feed! Being able to really divide our menu up into clear and easy to read sections makes our website a lot easier for customers to navigate.
