2 Sterne, weil das Handling übersichtlich ist und die Preise ok. Der Aufbau von Produkten für die eigene Homepage funktioniert gut. Das war es dann aber auch schon. Wir sind aktuell dabei, ein eigenes Modelabel aufzubauen und hatten viel Hoffnung in die Zusammenarbeit mit Spreadconnect. Wir haben mittlerweile 10 Sample-Bestellungen ausgelöst, wovon keine einzige einwandfrei war. Print schief oder nicht wie bestellt mittig aufgedruckt. Teilweise kamen die Produkte verschmutzt an. Die Verpackungs-Situation ist absolut nicht geeignet für den Versand direkt an Endkunden. Bestellte Produkte per Express haben trotzdem mindestens 1,5 Wochen Lieferzeit, obwohl die Produkte als "Verfügbar" gekennzeichnet sind. Aktuell warten wir noch immer auf unsere Express Bestellung vom 20.08. - Mittlerweile haben wir den 08.09. Alles in Allem sehr enttäuschend.

Von der Produktionszeit, Auswahl und Qualität wären es 5 Sterne ABER: 1. Keine Massenbearbeitung bzw. Erstellung. Jedes einzelne Produkt muss umständlich erstellt werden, was enorm viel Zeit frisst und mehr als frustierend ist. Was nutzt die Auswahl von 200 Produkten wenn man jedes Produkt einzeln erstellen oder ändern muss? Warum nicht 1 Motiv und die gewünschten Produkte in einem Arbeitsschritt konfigurieren? Jedes einzelne Produkt durch Kopieren und Bearbeiten erstellen zu müssen kann ja nicht die Lösung sein! 2. Der Uploader hat teilweise ein Eigenleben und nimmt Designs ohne Feedback nicht an, mit dem Hinweis sich an den Support zu wenden. Nach dem 10. Versuch klappt es dann aber komischerweise. Wäre jetzt nicht weiter schlimm, aber frisst halt dank Punkt 1 noch mehr Zeit. 3. Jetzt kommt der Punkt der mich zu dieser Rezension getrieben hat und eigentlich dafür sorgen müsste das es einen 1 Stern gibt. Nach dem letzten Update wurde bei ca. 50% meiner erstellten Produkte festgestellt das der Druckbereich urplötzlich nicht passt. Es betraf T- Shirts und Hoodies desselben Marke mit gleicher Motivgröße. Also alles wieder an einem Freitagabend einzeln umstellen und anpassen. ES NERVT! Und warum trifft es nicht alle Produkte einer Kategorie sondern nur ca. 50%? Müsste ich jetzt damit rechnen das die Produkte welche nicht angezeigt wurden im System untergegangen sind und im Falle einer Bestellung trotzdem schief und deplatziert geliefert werden oder wie erklärt sich dieser Sachverhalt? Nach der umständlichen Neuanpassung der betroffenen Produkte fiel dann auf das die T-Shirts und Hoodies, welche nachträglich angepasst wurden nicht mehr diesselbe Motivgröße und Platzierung hatten wie die anderen Produkte, welche nicht vom Druckbereich betroffen waren. Also alle löschen und komplett EINZELN neu erstellen. Danke dafür! Qualität, Auswahl und Lieferzeit sind wie schon erwähnt TOP aber Punkt 1 und 3 passen absolut nicht zu dieser sonst so genialen POD Lösung. Sollte sich dahingehend nichts ändern, verzichte ich lieber auf etwas Marge und ziehe einen Anbieterwechsel in Betracht.

Please save ur time. I did try to order a sample order. Returned to sender, no email, no refund. If they don’t reply I will dispute it with my bank. Phone number never reachable, customer service that replies after 3 days like what is this? I prefer to spend more but to get a better service

I have used Spreadshirt in the past. Generally very happy with them. I thought I'd try their Shopify app. Ouch. Setting up shipping is ridiculously complex! You have to manually copy and paste hundreds of prices to cover all the rates, options, order totals etc for all the countries - maybe setting up to a thousand options to cover global distribution. And also every time the prices change, redo them all manually. That is beyond belief! "Keep it simple with SPOD" is their tag: I almost feel like this is an April Fool's joke when I see that comment. All the pricing for shipping should be maintained by SPOD as part of the app/Shopify integration, not foisted on users. I also use Bookvault and they do it automatically - I didn't have to do anything except connect the app to Shopify. All the shipping is maintained, calculated and updated by Bookvault, as it should be. It is always up to date. They don't expect users to create hundreds of options (and continually update them). Really, SPOD needs to set the app up properly, because this is unwieldy, over-complex, and shifting a task onto every Shopify-SPOD user rather than just doing it once centrally. I'm surprised this doesn't get mentioned more. Oh, also - when settign up you have to choose EU printing or US. You can't have both, and orders don't ship from the nearest place to the customer - only from the one you pick at the start. So global coverage means high shipping prices for half your customers. Again, they could have done it properly like BookVault (it prints in US for US customers and nearby, UK for UK and Europe - all done automatically). I'll uninstall SPOD and close my account, this has been a waste of time.

With the Shopify settings you can set up free shipping on your store, you can create your own shipping rates, or you can match our 3 shipping rates as well. SPOD offers Standard, Premium and Express shipping options for simplicity. For merchants who choose to match our shipping rates we do provide a shipping calculator and related articles with instructions on setting up your shipping as well. What a bummer - I loved the app; it's super easy to use and integrate for my shop. BUT their printing quality on EVERY order was awful. They were quick to reply to my emails and refund my money, but that wasn't what I was looking for. If I'm going to use a company for printing, I expect good quality printing, not an immediate refund for constant mistakes. Pretty disapointed.

I'm really sorry that the print results do not match the screen view of your design. With the Digital Direct printing method, the printing colors are sprayed directly onto the article of clothing, which causes the design to look somewhat washed-out. For that reason, intense colors are unfortunately not to be expected. Digital Direct is therefore optimal when going for a "vintage look". If you prefer brighter colors, we can recommend Flex printing for a more vivid print that stands out.

The app is working pretty good. Easy to navigate and to use. I just would like to express my disappointment during the migration. Waited patiently for 6 days, on day 6 I call them and they assured me that the order was in the production badge for that day. I kept an eye on it the whole day..... no changes in the status, by the end of the day I tried to call them, no answer. Now it is day 7....... still no changes, I call them and they can not even tell me if it will go into production on day 7, did the lady from the day before tell me what I wanted to hear???? Nobody can tell me what the status is and when it will go into production (day 7), they need to contact management for this, everything is okay with the order, everything is in stock, this is what they told me, and you need to contact management? Also send an email same standard text as a reply, they do not even take a look at your case. Once again, I waited patiently for 6 days!

This company has super fast production times...but that's really all that's good about them. The print quality is usually just mediocre (if that), and their customer service is basically nonexistent. Also, if you need to edit an order, good luck! You can't do it from the app, you need customer service. So basically you just have to disappoint your customer. To top that off, THEY'VE RAISED THEIR PRICES! I'll definitely be using a different company.

App gave a 400 error repeatedly and needed to be uninstalled/reinstalled before I could use it. After creating an account I was able to place an order for a sample product, but I received an email from SPOD a few days later requesting a government photo ID claiming my account could be fraudulent. Customer service failed to reply to my email questioning the need for a photo ID in order to have a sample shirt printed. Also has by far the most expensive apparel shipping costs of the companies we've considered so far ($6.35 for one t-shirt).

EDIT: Customer service unresponsive to email. If you call, they'll answer, but they'll tell you they're unable to take care of pretty much anything over the phone and that you should email. It's a never ending loop of not being able to access the services they promise to provide. I've been using SPOD for a little over a year. In the last month, their production times have increased significantly (orders will sit for a week before printing) and their customer service response time has dropped as well (one of my inquiries never even got a response). Seems like something on the back end isn't working. I'll be looking for a new POD provider asap. :/

Horrible. We are a print on demand DTG company ourselves and used them to print just our long sleeves and hoodies as it is very expensive to house all the inventory for every different variant we offer. I would give them 1 star but there are some things that are decent. My customers have had issues with nearly every order. Garments damaged upon receipt, loose threads, holes, etc. Prints are complete trash. As a DTG company ourselves we can see that they obviously do not have any quality control OR have a lack of knowledge in the pre-treating and curing process. We have had numerous garments where the print is rubbing off after the first or second wash. Even garments that did not require pretreat and were black ink only were not cured properly and the ink came right off. Their Spreadshirt brand apparel is nice quality but runs extremely small, especially in womans. This is a huge turn off as we have had many returns due to incorrect sizing. This is partly due to customers not looking at the size chart, so I don't blame Spreadshirt 100% for this. Their customizer is mediocre, it's hard to determine proper design placement from the collar and only one size of the image can be imported, therefore leaving every size S-5X having the same size printed image. For example, a small shirt may require an 8" wide image but an 8" wide image on a 3X looks ridiculous. You would think there would be some kind of human interaction involved in production to ensure that the ratio of image to shirt size is correct, but they claim this is not possible with their system. I can assure you it is possible as we use the exact same equipment and it's so simple to resize an image that our grade school children who frequently operate our equipment can do it. The only thing that I can say that they did right is they were always prompt at refunding damaged or misprinted items. We also will give them top honors for their speed, they definitely are the fastest POD service. Sometimes they were even faster than us and our turnaround is typically 24 hours from the order placement to slapping a shipping label on the product. Maybe they need to focus on quality control instead of speed. We are just simply tired of disappointing our customers and processing refunds and replacements. App deleted. We will continue to print in house as we do not have these issues.
