I had such an amazing experience working with Ken and Jake! They truly went above and beyond to help me with using Times Act for my Shopify account, especially with setting up my pre-order. From start to finish, they were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. What stood out the most was how intentional they were about making sure I fully understood everything. They didn’t rush the process at all they paused to check in, answered all my questions, and made sure my needs were completely met. Their professionalism and timeliness made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I also really appreciated that they asked for feedback on how they could improve. That level of care and dedication to growth says a lot about their character and work ethic. Hands down, this was the best customer service I’ve received in years. I had a great experience during my call with Ken. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. The meeting was smooth, well-structured, and made the whole process easy to understand. Highly recommend, excellent support and a great overall experience.
I installed this app based on their advertised free plan and the 'MAKE IT 3X' bonus limit. However, the reality is very misleading. When you contact support to activate the bonus, they demand a video testimonial featuring your face to unlock it. Worse, their support agent confirmed that this '3x limit' (30 orders) is NOT a recurring monthly limit. It is a one-time, lifetime cap. Once you hit those 30 orders, the free plan is gone forever and you are forced into a paid subscription. Tricking merchants into providing face-video reviews for a 'free plan' that has hidden, non-renewing limits is a blatant bait-and-switch tactic. If you are looking for an app with a transparent, recurring monthly free tier, look elsewhere. Uninstalled.
This review is given in bad faith and contains false information that is easily verifiable. Proof 1: If what you said were true then why doesn’t such content exist on any of our social media? This is easy for anyone to check freely. Not even one such case. Proof 2: Our free plan as clearly stated on our app page and websites states that your FIRST 10 (it is capitalized for a reason) presale orders are FREE. If we make a promotion to say 3X that free plan it is logical that it means that 3 x 10 FIRST presale orders = 30 FIRST presale orders and not 30 presale orders per month. Why would we not advertise 30 presale orders per month if we actually wanted to “lure” anybody? It makes no sense because that is just something you wanted from us, not something we offered. The reality of what happened: The merchant installed the app and immediately demanded we give him the 3X plan which they said needs to be 30 preorders per month or else they will give a 1 star review. When we (multiple people) explained the program to them on the spot and in a follow up they just ignored us and posted the 1 star review. It was made abundantly clear that no “video with their face” was needed and yet they still claimed this in the review. Context of what our program actually offered (now discontinued): In an effort to increase our social media presence on Insta, LinkedIn, X etc we thought we would offer 3x our normal FREE plan if merchants gave us a shout out on any of these platforms in whatever format worked for them, text, photo, video. It turned out not to be a good idea because it did not get much traction (1-3 inquiries in a year) and now this review. We are not perfect and like any start-up we try things, some things work some things don’t. We’ve learned from this mistake and shut down this program (because we do not want to invite abuse like this). In the absence of any communication we can only assume this was sadly an extortion/blackmail situation. While this is sad to see because people and small businesses should not treat each other like this, it makes us appreciate the 99.99% of users who are decent, honest, communicative and a pleasure to work with even more. I had some trouble with the app on my storefront. Marie did an amazing job troubleshooting the issue and got it completed very quickly! My favorite feature of this app is the easy navigation through the pages as I was able to build the pre-order I needed. I would love a couple more badge options to pick from besides different colors.
Easy to set up and the support folks are great. Only 4 stars because it requires inventory to be tracked per-variant, which isn't quite a perfect fit for my business model. But the features are spot-on otherwise.
Timesact Saved Us During a Logistics Crisis We run a small operation, and when a shipping delay hit us right in the middle of a sales spike, we were staring down the barrel of having to turn away new customers. That's where Timesact stepped in. The support team didn't just point us to documentation - they got in there with us and helped configure everything: pre-order setup, a customer-facing message explaining the situation, an estimated ship date, and a discount we could offer as a goodwill gesture to customers willing to wait. Instead of a dead end, our customers saw transparency and got a reason to stick around. That combination - honest communication plus a small "thank you for your patience" discount - turned what could have been a reputation problem into something that actually felt like good customer service. Customers knew what was happening and chose to pre-order anyway. That's the app working exactly as it should, with a team behind it that clearly understands small business reality. If you sell physical products and don't have a pre-order and inventory messaging solution in place, you're one logistics hiccup away from finding out why you need one. Timesact is ours.
