Lol they're very fast to defend themselves so you're denying not sending the wrong support email to my customers? I have proof for that and the chat transcript. How long are you guys gonna lie and get away with it. And you have charged an additional $150+ in bogus charges which is again with proof so how are you gonna deny it? This definitely needs to go on X and Linkedin Original review: "They're beta testing their app with us customers. Sometimes it sends phantom emails to customers(and I've to point it out and they say their apologies like it's just another day) and infact I was double-charged for the campaign and now they're saying it's a technical issue just like every other time. From my experience stay away from these guys better stick to Mailchimp or Klaviyo atleast they don't try to screw small businesses like this. "

I'd also like to address some of these concerns: Regarding the charge, we've already issued a refund and, as our support team mentioned, the issue that caused it is currently being investigated and will be fixed soon. We're definitely not a beta app. We've been servicing thousands of merchants like yourself for over 6 years (as a matter of fact, our 4.0 version will go live in January 2026). Our app doesn't send "phantom emails". We're an SMS-first app, and all messages sent by our flows are logged. They can be seen and reviewed from your Conversations tab, and you can also interact with those customers via our Inbox feature. Once again, we're really sorry that you experienced an issue. I was shocked by how expensive this app ended up being. I sent only four small SMS campaigns and was charged over $350 AUD in one month due to multiple layered fees (subscription, per-SMS, service fees and commissions). The pricing structure is not transparent and is simply not sustainable for small businesses. I’ve since removed the app and moved to a more affordable SMS provider. Use with caution.

Account was double charged by $1,990. Yes, I paid yearly. Was it charged by yearly? Nope. Charged by monthly. Annual subscription turned into monthly subscription. The problem should be fixed instantly and unacceptable. This app's billing practice is extremely unprofessional.

WARNING: Deceptive Billing & Horrible Customer Service I strongly advise DO NOT install this app! TxtCart uses misleading pricing tactics and unauthorized charges that are NOT clearly disclosed upfront. Hidden Fees: They claim it’s $29/month, but then sneak in 15% of cart recovery revenue WITHOUT proper consent. This is NOT explicitly stated before they start charging. Impossible to Get a Refund: Even after multiple disputes, they refuse to process a refund, ignoring Shopify's merchant protection policies. Terrible Customer Support: Rude, dismissive, and even threatened legal action just for asking for a refund! Completely unprofessional and unethical. Massive Overcharging: They kept charging me way beyond what was expected—my total fees were way higher than my actual earnings from their "service." Shopify Should Ban This App! I hope Shopify takes action because this is NOT a trustworthy app to do business with. If you care about your business, STAY AWAY from TxtCart. Do NOT fall into their trap!

As TxtCart's founder, I feel it's important to address these claims directly as they are damaging to my business & false: Our pricing model of which includes many plans, includes a $29/month plus 15% of recovered revenue generated by us. This is clearly stated on the app listing page here, our external websites pricing page, signup flow, and terms of service. We believe in full transparency and never charge unauthorized fees. In fact, 100% of our billing is done through Shopify billing which is white labeled stripe. It's borderline a requirement for Shopify apps. This means we rely soley on Shopify, and are given no power to issue any sort of unauthorized charges. This merchant, was a TxtCart customer for over 6 months, and generated over $3.2K with our app at over a 5x ROI. Regarding refunds, our records show all charges were in accordance with our documented pricing structure. Our support team & Shopify maintains detailed logs of all interactions and we categorically deny any claims of unprofessional conduct or threats. This merchant reached out to Shopify who took our side in denial of refund, and thus resorted to publically defaming the company here unfortunately. We take pride in helping thousands of merchants recover abandoned carts through SMS marketing, with an average ROI of 18x for our customers. Our 4.8/5 rating on Shopify from over 500 verified merchants reflects our commitment to transparent pricing and excellent service. DO NOT INSTALL!!!! THEY LURE YOU IN WITH A FREE TRIAL THEN AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOU. THEY CHARGED $2K FOR AN APP THAT WAS INSTALLED FOR LESS < 10 MINUTES AFTER DISCOVERING THE FEATURE THEY ARE ADVERTISING ALL OVER YOUTUBE HASN'T BEEN DEVELOPED YET. SCAM!!!!

Although we have a no-refund policy, in the light of your specific circumstances we can definitely issue a full refund for you. I also wanted to explain what might have happened to help you avoid similar issues in the future. Here's what I found: It appears you signed up for a plan with a trial period, then uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and during the reinstall process, you selected a new plan. It's important to note that the trial period comes with only one installation to prevent abuse of the system. Since you had already used the trial on the first installation, the new plan wouldn't have another trial, and that's the reason why a charge was made. Also, you selected our annual Pro Plan, which is a one-time annual charge of $1,990 (instead of $199 per month). This plan effectively gives you two months free compared to the monthly option. Regardless of the specifics, I sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience. I'll be happy to process a refund for you once you email us back!

15% of the lost sale if you get it back - Plus monthly subscription - Plus extra charge for AU phone number. ummmm whats left for us? NOTHING! Clever concept. But very over priced. Replying to your reply: The app didnt give any other options other than saying 15% will be taken on a successful sale. You only Just emailed me with a claim i made a malicious claim. Totally ludicrous. Your prices are not clearly upfront otherwise we would not of installed it. Your aggressive manner in handling this in your email speaks for itself. Look at everyone else saying the same thing on 1 stars! Lower your rate to say 5% and then you won't get this type of review. Bye bye

They tax 20% of all your sales - whether they got the sale or not. Intentionally aggressive attribution tactics- the team at TxtCart is trying to skim a % of all your sales. They will message each of your customers and regardless of whether the customer orders through their discount code or not, they will charge you a 20% commission depending on your plan. After bringing to their attention that they are charging commissions on orders they did not get this was their response " please read our terms and conditions as well as attribution policy. You signed up for the platform agreed to our billing and we fulfilled our service. Your margins are not our responsibility. Usage charges are non refundable." they tried to justify their aggressive attribution by claiming that "discount codes are not the only way sales are attributed. anyone who "clicks on their link and views the product" is considered their customer and they will charge the full commission if that customer places an order within 7 days of clicking, regardless if they used the discount code provided by TxtCart. If you don't want to share a tax of 20% of sales with TxtSMS than i suggest you stay away. To top it off their support team was supper rude saying " hope you learn how to read better" when trying to explain their aggressive tactics. Who wants to deal with a flawed system and terrible support?

Used this free trial and got slayer with fees over drew my account. The owner Kyle is rude and disrespectful when asking for a refund. I had it for 3 days and got charged 80’follard saying they sent out a text and the client placed a small order this company should be taken off Shopify. The hidden fees and agendas are robbery

Within 3 days, TxtCart generated $400 in revenue for Sickest Barbers, of which $78 was billed correctly. This is over a 5X ROI - a great thing to celebrate. I understand you didn't fully understand the pricing options you had signed up for, nonetheless, we credited your account the $78 which would cancel out any pending invoice charges. The app is not yet ready for UK market so cannot complete the set up or use. The expected launch date for UK keeps getting pushed back each month so all very frustrating and a total waste of time. Received an interesting email about our review too - but I'll leave shopify to deal with that......
