It's pretty straight forward with some useful features. It's a little convoluted with creating, activating, and then activating again inside the theme, but it works. The checkout options are nice. They could use some more customization and freedom when it comes to recommendations, but it's not bad at all. The biggest issue is features being activated that can't be deactivated because of their paywall. For example, when integrating the app, you follow the recommended steps provided by the app. Since it's your first time using it, you go by what the developer recommends. Part of that integration is selecting Aftersell in your post-purchase page. What you don't know is that the Post-Purchase Funnels are behind a paywall, so when you finish the trial and stick with just the checkout plan, you cannot access post-purchase funnels to turn them off. Now, I have orders that are set to "hold" before fulfillment because of a setting I can't turn off. Removing Aftersell from post-purchase page hopefully stops this, but is still injecting code into my theme that's not being used - creating code bloat. Even customer service can't deactivate them - they just tell you to remove it from post-purchase in checkout settings. Feels a little weird and sketchy that Aftersell themselves can't turn it off permanently without me paying. I'll probably move on to another checkout app. I've used a large amount of apps on Shopify and have never seen a reverse pay wall at the expense of the user.

Changed the cost without notice. $9 > $34.99 It was a good app, but there are ones out there just as good, if not better.

I was recommended this upsell app by a big brand on shopify. Someone called John was really helpful and set this all up for me as I struggle a lot with the technical side of things but he made it all so easy and stress free by setting the whole thing up for me so quickly. This app is a no-brainer if you have multiple SKUs. On day 1 I got two upsells with very little effort on my half. I'm looking forward to utilising it properly with A/B testing etc. Shout out to their support too, they were really helpful.
