It might bring in some money, but editing it only leads to crashes. For the price, there is still room for improvement.

It's pretty straight forward with some useful features. It's a little convoluted with creating, activating, and then activating again inside the theme, but it works. The checkout options are nice. They could use some more customization and freedom when it comes to recommendations, but it's not bad at all. The biggest issue is features being activated that can't be deactivated because of their paywall. For example, when integrating the app, you follow the recommended steps provided by the app. Since it's your first time using it, you go by what the developer recommends. Part of that integration is selecting Aftersell in your post-purchase page. What you don't know is that the Post-Purchase Funnels are behind a paywall, so when you finish the trial and stick with just the checkout plan, you cannot access post-purchase funnels to turn them off. Now, I have orders that are set to "hold" before fulfillment because of a setting I can't turn off. Removing Aftersell from post-purchase page hopefully stops this, but is still injecting code into my theme that's not being used - creating code bloat. Even customer service can't deactivate them - they just tell you to remove it from post-purchase in checkout settings. Feels a little weird and sketchy that Aftersell themselves can't turn it off permanently without me paying. I'll probably move on to another checkout app. I've used a large amount of apps on Shopify and have never seen a reverse pay wall at the expense of the user.

Changed the cost without notice. $9 > $34.99 It was a good app, but there are ones out there just as good, if not better.

Overall, the application is "ok". If I put 2 stars it's because the application crashes constantly and hours of work on the funnels are lost for NO REASON!

I was very happy with this app until today. The app is all of a sudden blank and not working from the back end and I cannot get hold of the support plus the in app chat does not work, since the app is not working. Very frustrating.

There is no way to cancel your subscription. If there is, they have not made it easy to locate. Beware of this ahead of time because it can cost you $799

To clarify, the app has a 30 day free trial and only has a charge for stores who have over 50 orders a month. Stores have to accept a usage charge of up to $799 but we will NEVER charge that amount unless you have over ~25000+ orders a month. The app is free for the vast majority of stores and scales up as orders increase ($9.99, $14.99, etc). A full pricing list is provided here: https://aftersell.com/pricing We also offer a fully free 30 day trial, and 5x ROI positive guarantee. That means if you do not get at least a 5x return on the app, reach out and we will refund all costs. Most merchants see over a 2000% ROI! To cancel the subscription, the app should be uninstalled (no additional steps needed). Once it is uninstalled, the subscription is fully cancelled.
