Below is my honest review after using app for 3-4 months Pros - 1. Very good customer support 2. This app help to fix on page SEO issues 3. Easy to use 4. It does great job in reducing image file size and also does instant indexing 5. Some times their customer support report the SEO issues to users proactively and take action to get the issues fixed. Cons- 1. You keep encountering many errors in the application even on the basic feature of the SEO app, however they resolve once you report. 2. They don't have mechanism for fixing priority issues off business hours though they have users from around the globe 3. While they call it as SEO suite they only support for on page and technical SEO no support for off page or local SEO which is important for your page to rank top in SERP I am reducing the two stars as i am loosing my time due to issues on the app due to lack of quality check while releasing new versions.

Regarding the concern about custom meta data, please note that this feature is primarily intended for users who utilize the meta tags setting in the search appearance. This feature should only be enabled if you use the Avada's meta tags setting to apply mass meta tags across various pages while still having custom meta tags for specific pages. Since you are not currently using Avada's Meta tags feature, enabling custom meta data for each product or collection is not necessary. I have sent you an email with more detailed information. I have only had this running a very short time, so time will tell, but since I installed Avada SEO and used the image optimization, my site is actually loading slower. It's like the images are thinking before they load. I will revisit this and raise or lower my review in about 10 days at which time I will decide if I am keeping Avada or using something else.

Leaves code when uninstalled, and creates an AVADA Product collection. Better alternatives out there

its a very useful tool, disappointed that most features require a susbcription service, but otherwise good. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable with quick and efficient response times, especially Sunny.

Not working for me, the app make my site in iphone devices started to have a lot of issues with the images, avada tech support could not fixt it but they always repied on time

App is lovely. Perfect SEO solution for shopify stores. However, I will rate it with 3 stars because the subscription is way too expensive! I think a $15 per month sub would be the right price point but that's me. Also, the support is great, Emily has been very helpful and even gave me a free trial for their premium plan. Thanks Emily!

This is a great app - I highly recommend it if you store is in one single language. However, if you have 2 or more languages, the meta tags will only be available in 1 language.

Juliana was as helpful as she could be given my multitude of questions. She was patient and provided a lot of information. My issue is not with her but with the app in general. For beginners it is very confusing. It would be very helpful to have a youtube channel or tutorials. The language/terms are all like speaking a foreign language.

Staff is 5 stars, helping to resolve any issues without long wait in the queue. The free tier of the app is also amazing. UPD: The free tier is no longer include a lot of features that were available before, also the website speed slowed down by a lot. Too bad good the greed took over and now, most of useful features are paywalled.

I got this app mostly for image optimization. To be honest its a "meh" because after I have gone back through the images i noticed that alt image text has only been applied to missing pictures that are the main image on the page. Basically it means I have to go through 1800 images by hand, which is why i got the app in the first place. I have not used any of the SEO portions of the app, partly because I have someone working on it, and partly because I was not particularly impressed so far. I plan to explore it to justify the monthly charge however.

I used the app to optimise my images ,since my store speed was pretty slow ,hoping to get it a bit faster.After the process was completed I tested the store speed again and there was no difference.Since I am new to the app I asked an agent in the live chat if the images optimization was suppose to help with the speed and I didn’t quite understand if it was going to ,but then he turned me some other feature (speed related) on and when tested again my site was at 99 for a desktop and 61 for mobile,which was about double of what it was before.Unfortunately without the app the speed would remain like it was and there is no explanation why and what is changed besides turning on that feature.After a few hours I went back to test the website in Google and the speed was down like it was in the past,even I still have the Avada app ,so I am not exactly sure if it’s working and what exactly the app does.

Update: Nov 2023 Degrading rating due to poor support offered when the app decided to delete and jumble my images across my store. After two weeks of chasing for a reply and being told the tech team 'were looking into it' the end reply boiled down to: 'Sorry after two weeks Shopify deletes any deleted images, it might be us but we think it's you' That's quite insulting, I am quite capable in telling the difference between a black and yellow jumper, or a between two products that have the colour printed on the label in the picture. Also if you can think of a reason why I needed to have multiple copies of multiple pictures across my listings I would love to here your reasoning behind it. It used to be good, now would not recommend. Original Review: Good app, I'm currently on the free plan but at present that works enough for me, will likely change to the paid one in the near future. Rainy and the team were great at helping me with a formatting issue on my HTML sitemaps that caused Google to complain about non mobile friendliness. I think I use pretty much all the features provided now I have had time to really use them. Edit: Nov 2022 I had a small hiccup with the store not redirecting 404's, Jasmine quickly fixed this and all is well once more.
