I recently lost 17,000 email addresses which we had accumulated over a serious amount of time. Rewind was able to recover all of them for me. They made it easy for me to do this and I totally appreciate this service.

Support have been great responding to my queries and assisting with requests I have made. We have two Shopify sites that use the Rewind Backup app, and their support was happy to talk me through setting up the app on our second site so that we could bundle them both into one subscription. They also have several different types of subscription and helped me choose the one that worked best for us.

I used to love this app, but they brough up the price which is fine (but no notificiation), they had also failed to answer my 4 email requests asking for a JSON hard copy. In fact I haven't heard from them since Christmas time. For backing up your shopify store I advise other options. Thanks ---- Updating this review from Feb 18th as support reached out. It turned out that the email stopped being recognized by their support system. This has since been resolved and with helpful support I have gone back to them as you need good backups and a helpful person/good customer service at the other end. Otherwise it just doesn't work. Regarding price change I just missed the notification. Thanks

I really see value in being able to recover from our own errors and external actions by bad actors. For these cases, having a reliable backup is key. In our case we only had to recover from our own misfires, but when needed, it worked flawlessly. I look forward to some more coverage for metadata such as inventory levels or the ability to include smaller, lower performing stores in the bigger plan until the store can pay the price itself.

We migrated from Bigcommerce to Shopify. Since we migrated over a large number of order, there we some questions about fees. Stephan helped me get everything sorted out. We used Rewind on our Bigcommerce store and we are thrilled to be able to continue to use Rewind with Shopify. Great support. Very helpful!!

I always install this app in my personal projects, and I also have my clients install it. I believe it is essential for any serious business to have an automatic backup of everything, so that they can recover a very recent version of only what is necessary at any given time. The team was immediately available for a call to diagnose the situation, demonstrating a high level of responsiveness and expertise. Most impressively, they developed a custom solution to address our specific requirements, a gesture that far exceeded our expectations. We’ve been using Rewind Backups for about a month, and it’s been a great experience so far. We accidentally uploaded a SKU spreadsheet to the wrong store, but thanks to Rewind we were able to quickly revert and avoid any issues.

I wanted insurance that all my long hours building a replacement Shopify store would not be lost. Rewind just worked in the background with a weekly reassuring backup summary email. Until I trusted some AI liquid coding advice too blindly and needed to restore three different templates. The process was self explanatory, easy to understand without any need for documentation or contact with support. When it came time to replace my site, things became a bit tangled with my confusion and Shopify's back-end. Everything was finally straightened out but my new store was not able to be backed up via Rewind anymore. After a few very prompt, patient, support emails, it was suggested a zoom call would be the best way forward. It was nice to put a face to Stephan, who had mainly been supporting my issues, and that remote support session put things right; all very friendly and professional. I'm now looking forward to quiet background backups once again, where I get my work done but secure in knowing if something happens I've got a tested recourse. Thank you everybody at Rewind.

A week ago, while connecting Shopify to JTL Wawi using the JTL Connector app, I lost all my product data. I was extremely frustrated. The JTL Connector app overwrote all the product data in Shopify with empty rows. A complete disaster! I honestly don't understand why JTL doesn't have a built-in security mechanism for this. Anyway... Luckily, I had recently activated Rewind Backups. When I used the last backup to restore, I was disappointed to discover that Rewinds doesn't save or restore automated backups of the product meta fields I had spent a long time and painstakingly creating. Oh no! My frustration was even greater. Was all the data really lost? When I contacted Rewinds Support, wondering if there was any way to salvage my many meta fields, I immediately received extremely friendly assistance. A huge THANK YOU to Bianca and Stephan. Within 5 days, all the lost data was restored. Hallelujah! As I subsequently learned, automated restoration of meta fields is currently not possible with Rewind's backup. Rewind requires manual intervention. But they do it brilliantly. So, anyone who loses their data (especially product meta fields) but has a Rewind backup should take a deep breath and contact the support team. Miracles still happen. Dear Rewind team, thank you so much for the amazing help. Absolutely fantastic! Thanks for everything. Best regards.

The support team is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help. The app is easy to use and extremely valuable, especially when mistakes happen while uploading products or making changes to the store. A real lifesaver for anyone managing a Shopify store!
