Rewind Backups

Instructions for use are not easy to find.

We are a brick and mortar store primarily. We have thousands of products listed on our Shopify store. The issue is that online sales are a very small percentage of our sales. So spending must be scaled appropriately. We are overall pleased with Shopify and the list of plugins we are using. That being said, we find that the rates for Rewind are out of scale with the benefit of the service. It is the most expensive plugin we use, but not the most critical. We have to use the pro plan which is 39 USD/mth. Does storage really cost that much guys? No it doesn't. We will be suspending the service and waiting for a more affordable service that is surely to arrive. ie: We subscribe to one Terabyte of storage with Apple for only $3.99 a month. We would be be back in a flash if our plan dropped to less than $10/mth.

Rewind has been on time all the time with backing up our stores. It is a very reliable app for backing up our files and themes. I would recommend Rewind to any business using Shopify.

The app seems to work well and has a well designed interface for backing up. We have not tried a restore yet, but app appears professionally made and shows a breakdown of each type of item backed up separately. This is a good app for some security.

Everyone wants an app that just works reliably. While we have not had to do a restore from Rewind yet, it is nice to know we have taken the right steps to prepare ourselves. Simply. Reliable. What else does anyone need?

Great app, does what it says it will. Peace of mind knowing things can be quickly recovered if falls over.

Rated as 4 stars because have not had to use it to restore my Shopify store. Have restored from a backup on a previous store and using the server vendor's backup. It worked, but needed the assist of the staff at the vendor. Rewind backs up on demand and as scheduled and gives a notification after the scheduled backup. Don't understand why Shopify does not do this, but glad to pay Rewind to give me piece of mind.

Love this app, it has saved me from near disaster once prior due to a developer accidentally killing a key component of our site. We simply couldn't live without this app!

Great App for peace of Mind. Its great to not have to worry about our backgrounds being lost, we have multiple programmers working on www.imagevine.com and can recover things when changes don't go as was the plan.

Rewind is very easy to install and setup. It makes it easy to restore specific sections of the site or the entire site if it were ever needed. Worth the investment in case something catastrophic were to ever happen. Kevin www.gotimegear.com

Excellent app! Very good support. I particularly like how individual products can be restored if needed. Also, everything is broken down into modules (such as themes, etc) which make restores very fast. Overall, this is THE go-to app for our backup solution. It is absolutely first class!

Hey Mike! Rewind saved my ass today! While working on a major home page update I accidentally deleted some obscure Facebook code that I had no idea where I originally got it. Would have taken me hours to fix the problem. BUT rewind enabled me to get a home page copy of a week before, and fixed my error in five minutes -- versus 5 hours. Peace of mind is worth every penny when your playing around with exports.

We haven't had to use a backup as yet, but it feels great to know we have a backup to restore from should we ever need to

We've been using Rewind for a couple months now, and it is an excellent app. The backups work superbly, and customer service is impeccable. We sleep very well at night knowing Rewind is keeping our website secure. If you don't have backup, we highly recommend you give Rewind a try.

Up to date, I am really satisfied, although I have not had the chance to use it yet (which is what we want, of course!). But the app seems to be really good, it looks really easy to use and the site is uptaded frequently, and you do not have to think of doing it (contrary to my previous sotre, which I had to do it myself). The support seems great and they seem to be there if we have a problem or when the time comes to use this app. For the price, I found it amazing !

Wish i had it from day one. Would have saved us thousands of dollars and a lot of time.
