I installed Rewind because I wanted to make some changes to my store theme settings but I did not want to lose all the settings I've done . Am happy with what Rewind App provides as it's really easy to just add it and let it run automatically. I have now the peace of mind that my store content is always safe with the regular backup done by Rewind App. I would highly recommend Rewind to all store owners.

Great way to save backups automatically. Have saved me a couple times when I've deleted the wrong snippet (or two).

I accidentally deleted a category today with 78 products. It took me 1 minute to fix with this app. Trust me buy it.

You have a great store. You have invested thousands of hours in it, and a lot of money. It provides you with income you used to dream about. And then you install an attractive-looking but defective app which wrecks the lot. Or you hire some goon of a coder who does the same thing. Or anything. What do you do? I thought about that nightmare scenario. But not for long. I thoroughly researched what was out there and found and installed Rewind. Now I sleep more soundly. Have I tested it? Of course. Only a fool wouldn't. I have deleted bits of my store and then restored them with Rewind. And it works, easily and quickly. Have I deliberately wiped my whole store and tested whether Rewind would rebuild the entire thing? I'm not that brave. But I'm confident it would. You have got to be a back-up freak these days. Back up your desktops in the cloud, or on external disks you keep in the garage. But for me, for my Shopify store, it's Rewind.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. Great app. Very easy installment. Hopefully I'll never need one of the backups. It is great to have as a piece of mind considering the endless hours of work going into the online store. Don't want to see it ever lost by something out of my control.

Suicide prevention app that ought to be bought by and integrated by Shopify as part of its core functionality. Superb customer service.

Good app, it's nice to have confidence that in case of a catastrophe there is a way to revert back to older versions of your store.

Excellent app! Easy to install! This app will help you sleep better at night! How? If your site crashes or you delete something by accident, rewind to the rescue! A backup app should be the first app you install!

We have found this app great to be able to back up as we lost a lot of our seo information when our soft wear wiped our data.

Thankfully I've not had a need to try restoring anything yet, but it appears to have backed everything up as it "says on the tin", so I can't fault it.

Instructions for use are not easy to find.

Although it was posted in 2016, we thought we'd let new customers know that we've completely changed the app. It's much easier to use, and really doesn't require any instructions at all. We are a brick and mortar store primarily. We have thousands of products listed on our Shopify store. The issue is that online sales are a very small percentage of our sales. So spending must be scaled appropriately. We are overall pleased with Shopify and the list of plugins we are using. That being said, we find that the rates for Rewind are out of scale with the benefit of the service. It is the most expensive plugin we use, but not the most critical. We have to use the pro plan which is 39 USD/mth. Does storage really cost that much guys? No it doesn't. We will be suspending the service and waiting for a more affordable service that is surely to arrive. ie: We subscribe to one Terabyte of storage with Apple for only $3.99 a month. We would be be back in a flash if our plan dropped to less than $10/mth.
Thanks for the review. Although it was posted in 2016, we thought we'd let everyone know that we're always testing our pricing, and have less expensive plans now than when we launched in 2015. Apple provide file storage only. Rewind is constantly updating the service to be able to rewind items successfully - Shopify's API is constantly changing, and keeping up with those changes is expensive and time consuming. (Apple also has hundreds of millions of users - you're comparing the price of a service provided by a small business to one of the world's largest companies.)
