Chintak was incredibly helpful and patient while troubleshooting my subscription and discount settings. He took the time to walk me through each step, clarified what needed to be adjusted, and made sure everything was functioning correctly before ending the chat. I really appreciated how thorough and friendly he was, excellent customer service! The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is because the AI bot is terrible. While I understand the need for it to try and handle simple troubleshooting, it’s more frustrating than helpful. I’d strongly recommend removing it or improving it significantly.

There are still a lot of hiccups with the app, and features not available, which is a bit frustrating. I've forwarded concerns to Chintak, who has been a great help. I'm foreseeing a lot of back and forth to help me with concerns. But overall, it BOLD works just fine.

Good customer service however wish they had a phone number. Too much back and forth with emails and things can be resolved quicker if you can speak with an agent on the phone. But the service we received via email was helpful just time consuming.

Review Changed from (*****5) to a (****4) Choosing a subscription platform is so MUCH EFFORT! Thankfully i reached out to Bold Support for options (I was on v1) and Chintak assured me that migration over to Bold v2 was the right move for us. I was so grateful, as we have been on Bold v1 paid version since 2019/20. Thanks for keeping our subscriber base taken care of! Bold on Shopify for the win! **CHANGED REVIEW** Since the 22nd of Feb I'm not such a happy customer :( User Experience(lost a *): Lacking forecasting ability and adjusting customer subscription dates, reports are only available in excel. Inability to sort upcoming orders by date in app. ...not handy AT ALL. The only active sorting feature is ACTIVE, PAUSED, etc. so if you have 300 active subscriptions you have to scroll thru all 300 to see what day they are posting. OR export an excel spread sheet, sort that, then go back to the app and look up the accounts and make the changes. Yikes! Customer side, it's okay for individual account holders changing products and dates etc. Back to searching for a more User Friendly Platform.

Enjoying the app. Overall it's easy to use. A couple of features we'd like to see change. One example is that when you cancel and refund a customer's order you have to do it twice. Once through the Bold App and then again through the Shopify App. It should automatically cancel and archive the order when you cancel it on the Bold App...all in one seamless process.

It's mostly good but the customer can't always adapt their subscription pattern that easily. From the business side, it is straightforward and we can change things when customers ask and also add varying subscription dates/skip.

Update 27/03/2025 -Great customer service, quickly solved an issue with clients having an issue accessing their subscription. Gone from being an awesome app to complete rubbish with the v2 launch. I've been told after migrating from version 1 to version 2 that my store is no longer compatible with their app and I need to hire a coder to make my store compatible. I can't convey how painful it has been dealing with these guys, this process has caused me tons of pissed of customers, most of my products are no longer compatible with this app and i'm still getting to pay for it. This is after they confirmed my "eligibility" to use the v2 platform. Who ever designed the v2 well done in screwing up a part of my business and now I have to find an app that will actually work.

The application doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that I would like. I would like to be able to isolate and export more of my business date via CSV and I'm unable to do so. What I will say is that the customer service is "bar none" every interaction is friendly, the representatives are knowledgeable, and more importantly patient. Great service is hard to come by these days but, not with this web based organization. I spoke with Irfan today and the experience was most delightful to say the least. Thank you!

The app is great, but is more difficult to customize and navigate that other apps I've tried. Brysen was great to work with in helping me with my issues, but he wasn't able to resolve all of my issues without getting another department involved. Still, we are pleased with this app so far!

I like the idea of Bold as a service though they have quite a number of improvements to be made. We have a few other websites that use different subscription services and Bold is the weakest. The support on Bold needs to be improved significantly. It's hard to know where you stand and moving away from email support to a hard-to-find ticket system hasn't improved this. Bold Subscription V2 is ok if you have a simple subscription process which we have. There are a number of issues with the app itself though this will depend on the use case. I'll provide one example. If you have a Condition based product with variables and different price points for each variable under the same product type the subscription discount won't change with the variable. It's like the logic only loads with the product on page load but doesn't dynamically change when your product variables are selected. I'm an optimist and hope that these bugs can be ironed out in time before I build up the motivation to move everything over to Recharge Or Native. Frazer.

This app is pretty good. It has some bugs though like duplicate orders that are created randomly sometimes and its also kinda limited in features but overall does the job of subscriptions. I would have to say though there customer support is great Kelsey has helped me several times now and is always a pleasure to work with. If it wasn't for her I would have deleted this app.
