Great customer service- Fast and friendly!!
I am testing on this plugin, with API development too. I am very much appreciate to their support team and dev team, Haley, Hazel, Dannie, Mia, Ann and their dev are very supportive. By the meantime I also testing out the feature of this plugin, I believe they would implement more feature and settings to best fit to we customers the desire settings on our platform. Well done
A must-have app for anyone with a Shopify store wanting to launch a loyalty program. The features available are brilliant and the customer service to help get you set up makes it effortless. Thank you to Ann who assisted me along the way and made it a seamless process, appreciate you so much!
We had this app recommended to me as it works in well with Judge.me and Klaviyo. So far, it is pretty simple to work with and the Support team has been amazing, they have been available to us almost instantly each time we have used their Live Chat feature. Thank you to Hazel for her amazing help. Our only feature request is that custom CSS should be built into every pricing structure, not just the Growth plan as it should be easy for stores to have the fonts and styling to match their store as much as you can - whether you are a small business or a larger business. But their support is helping me now to work through getting this enabled for us, which we are super grateful for.

Bon Loyalty offers a competitive price for the number of features included, and their built-in translation functionality is a real advantage compared with many other apps in this category. Their chat support is also responsive and usually willing to help, which is appreciated. However, I am giving 3 stars for two main reasons. First, the app is not very intuitive to navigate. Many configuration settings are difficult to find, and the structure of the app can feel confusing. Support explained that this is partly because the app has many features, but in my view, if merchants cannot easily find or properly use those features, then the value of having so many features is reduced. Thankfully, their chat support can often help guide users through the app, but the app itself should be easier to understand and configure without needing support so often. Second, the support team does not always seem to have deep technical knowledge of the app or Shopify behavior, and this can lead to misleading answers. For example, we asked about the “Refer a Friend” landing page flow. After a user clicks the referral link and signs in, the app was sending them to Shopify’s default login page and leaving them there, instead of bringing them back to the referral page. This breaks the user journey and makes an important referral feature much less effective, because the customer can easily get lost and fail to complete the process. The initial answer from support was that this was due to Shopify’s technical limitations and that they could not control the authentication process. However, this was inaccurate. Shopify supports a simple return URL parameter that can bring the user back to the original page after login. We implemented this ourselves in around 30 minutes. After that, support acknowledged that their answer had been incomplete and said they would share it with their development team. Hopefully this will be corrected properly in the app. Overall, Bon Loyalty has strong potential, especially because of its pricing, feature set, and translation support. But the app needs a more intuitive interface, and the support team needs stronger technical knowledge, especially when merchants are relying on them for important customer-facing flows.

After revisiting the matter, our team found that Shopify now allows merchants to customize the post-login redirect destination. We just migrated our store from WooCommerce to Shopify and BON Loyalty has been one of the smoothest parts of the entire transition. The app itself is incredibly well thought out — earning rules, rewards, point redemption all just work out of the box, and the customization options are exactly what we needed without being overwhelming. But honestly the biggest standout has been the support. The entire team but specifically, Ame, has been amazing — quick to respond, patient with our questions, and clearly genuinely cares about making sure things work right for our business. The kind of support that makes you actually want to keep using the app long-term. For any Shopify merchant looking at loyalty programs — BON is the real deal, and you'll be in great hands with the team behind it. Highly recommend!
