When I first started using shopify I was able to create my own required custom check out field. Last year I was told the theme I was using was no longer supported and when I changed themes my custom fields disappeared and now I'm told I have to upgrade to plus in order to be able to have the same thing.

I sell our Pilates studio intro offers using Shopify, but use a separate software suite for client scheduling. I needed to add a block of text to our thank you page telling the purchasers what the next steps are to create a profile on that scheduling software so they can start booking. This fit my need 100%.
