We moved to this app after Mailchimp and Shopify broke up. We were surprised to find out that we were not only able to do everything we did in Mailchimp, but it also replaced our reviews app. Two for one. Win-win. Couldn't be happier.

The app isn't bad but it isn't great. I have been using them for quite some time now and stayed with them as they changed their name and started increasing their prices. I was not getting enough value for the price it costs so I decided to find an alternative.

We switched to Conversio after Mailchimp stopped integrating with Shopify. Although it wasn't one of the suggested options for switching services, I was informed of Conversio by someone in the "biz" of email marketing and consulting. We couldn't be happier with Conversio! Although there are no free plans, the price is minimal and the interface has been much better than Mailchimp in just about every way. I wish we used Conversio from the beginning of our online journey - but now that we have it, we won't be switching. The integration with Shopify was seamless and the available features are well worth the subscription.

When MailChimp no longer integrated with our Shopify store, we switched to Conversio. So far, it's been great! A great feature is that it is charged by the number of REAL customers you have - not just how many email subscribers are listed. Still in the testing phase and figuring out how to create our emails, but so far so good!

I am in the process of fully integrating this app and I am really enjoying how helpful it is with helping me to create a really good marketing funnel. I have been working on ways to make my customer interaction much more efficient and I think I found my answer!

Worst customer service I've seen in the Shopify world. Most businesses offer instant chat support. They always take more than 24 hours to answer any email support. I've been with them for multiple years and my newsletter feature was automatically disabled on the Monday of the BLACK FRIDAY week supposedly because of bot subsciptions to my list. It took them more than 24 hours to send me suggestions to fix the problem with their outdated documentation (the buttons I'm supposed to click are not even there). I've not been able to fix anything. And every email I send them has a 24h response time, with a response that is not helping.

I believe I have enough information to move forward with, it is frustrating that there is no one to call for help, no chat, and if you do ask a question, it will not be right away. I previously left a bad review because I was not finding the direct answers I needed I still admit it is frustrating trying to work real-time problems via delayed emails. Having an issue and possibly having to wait up to 3 hours to get a response if you have a major hang-up is not ideal for a website-ran business. I hope this company will change its approach to supporting its customers and at least provide some one-on-one, real-time support in getting started and understanding what can or can't be done, and how you can accomplish certain things. I've raised it to 3 stars in hopes that the information I was given is accurate and will help me accomplish what I'm attempting to do.

I have been using Conversio for a month or two and still learning about the capabilities. So far, I'm happy to say, that it is easy to use. I have been able to edit communications to brand to my store and implement automated campaigns to drive interest.

I got this to replace Mailchimp since their integration with Shopify is ending. I really like the wide variety of pre-made templates for follow ups with customers, and after a month I've already seen a few conversions from them. It's relatively interface friendly, as someone not super tech savvy it's been pretty straight forward to build emails. I am a bit bummed about the monthly price, as I was on a free plan with Mailchimp and being such a small company, I don't need to send excessive amounts of emails, but hopefully over time it will prove to be worth the price. I will say there are a few features that have been difficult for me to implement on my own, even with the Conversio instructions. I had to get their help to verify my domain to intergrate my email marketing customer list from Shopify. I also reached out for help with adding code/widget to show reviews left through Conversio follow up emails, but they wouldn't help me without charging me a fee. I feel if I am paying a monthly fee, it should include help with these available features if their provided instructions are not enough for me to complete on my own. Other than that, I've enjoyed the service so far and hope it will work out long term.

Complicated setup i order to use the Newsletter function. Having to add various data with your domain provider (and waiting up to 4 hours for it to work) is too complicated and time-consuming for most people/companies. Other apps work straight out of the box, so I hope Conversio will change this in the future. Until then, we'll go with another solution.

Loved having this app previously but man, what a price hike! It went from free to over $70 a month for me! We've un installed the app and stopped using it, its a shame that the price went up so much and wasn't a more reasonable price hike. Otherwise it was great.

Hi Kate, Sorry for the confusion here! This wasn't really a price increase. You were using a very limited free plan (that included only a few of our Receipts tools) and we first announced that we will be removing the free plan in early-2018. To make the transition to a paid plan easier, we made a few discounts available throughout 2018 and then removed the plan in January 2019. I have activated a 30-day free trial for you to test all of Conversio's features (we have way more than just receipts). I couldn't be happier at what CM Commerce does for us—completely replaced Constant Contact, with way more bells and whistles. If we want to email all purchasers of Product A, we can do that. And that is just a simple example: it does so much more. I wish I had the time to take advantage of all it does.

I am using this app for receipts, abandoned carts, welcome sequences and newsletters. I have not utilized the review or feedback widgets yet - just did not get that far. Conversio has a very generous introductory period, so it really gives you time to try out the features that interest you. Support has been awesome - always thorough and courteous. Depending on the time of day, support is either live chat or email. Both helped me tremendously. The end. :)
