It's unfortunate that suppliers don't take in account that retailers have to take responsibility for payment processing fee's on the total order, when determining the commission fee for selling their products. Because the commission fee is only given on the item total, not the total order. In most cases retailers are losing money when a product is sold, especially when shipping cost is added! We have had to delete many suppliers for this reason alone. Payment processing fee should be added automatically to the commission. This is suppose to be a win/win for both parties and it's not. RETAILERS BEWARE OF THIS!

We are loving Collective at The Mayfair Hall. Suggestions: -Be able to sort products that are available to import from current vendors (new to old for example).

This app has the potential to be a game changer for streamlining product connections across brands. However, it's become a major liability for our business. When retailers are connected, collective images from all partners are counted against each individual account’s file storage—yet users have no ability to modify or manage these images. Compounding the issue, Shopify provides no tools to track how far over the storage limit an account may be, and even deleting products does not remove the associated images. Without visibility or control, this creates an unsustainable and opaque system for retailers.

We were among the first users of Collective and it's been such a lifesaver for our business. Gone are the days when we would send orders via email, copy and paste tracking numbers, pay vendors manually, update inventory manually or via scripts, and manually import products. Because of the native integration with Shopify, there is really no other app that has been able to match all of Collective's features.

We need the ability to modify retails (like with Synclogic). Collective has room for improvement - need to be able to better sort items to import especially from larger catalogs. It would also be great if the Shopify tags would import over, too.

It has been such a valuable resource to connect businesses in a mutually profitable cooperative. E-commerce is essential in today's always-online world, and Collective helps make it easier to carve out your spot and truly connect with customers from all over! I always encourage people to do their own research, but I highly recommend!
