I had about 1200 photos in my store and crush pic optimized it by 34%. it made a difference in my website speed score .

I was suggested to use this app by a Shopify rep. They obviously work together to get business to one another. The app made my website slower. I cancelled it and asked for a refund but was denied because the app already minimized pics supposedly... Then they charged me a second time and I can't get my $$ back. Don't be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews from robots or the companies staff members
We're really sorry that you didn't enjoy using our app! We can go into detail on each point for you: 1. Shopify does not endorse any specific apps. Shopify Gurus are tasked with recommending apps they feel match the merchant's needs and often they recommend different image compression apps. 2. Regarding the website speed, our app isn't capable of making websites slower. In the worst case scenario, your speed would remain exactly the same. That's because when we compress an image, the worst that can happen is that it stays the same size and you don't save any loading time. That is really rare but it can happen. In addition, if you want to test this more, you can actually restore your images to their original size within 30 days of the original compression date to test all this. 3. Regarding a second charge, we did a thorough look into this with Shopify Billing team and could not find a second charge. 4. For our app reviews, we work really hard for our merchants and any sort of review "foul play" is against the Shopify App Store terms and conditions. We do not buy, generate, or create any reviews, in any form. I used this app to reduce the size of my picture files in my store. It saved me 8% across 5000 pictures, which I was pretty happy with. I would like to see some functionality for resizing pictures. is this something possible?

This app is very easy to use and saved me money by not having to hire a developer! It has definitely improved my store speed.

Increases website speed within minutes. Very easy to use and inexpensive. Crushes Images quick . Great app

Great app - does what it says on the tin. Renamed and compressed my files by half. The time estimation is a little out but it runs nicely in the background so not really a problem. Thanks guys. Team @ Willies Ice Hockey Emporium.

The app saved me hundreds of hours and not having to pay a consultant. I was able to optimize my 2000 images in about a day, renamed images and alt tags, without a single disruption to my website. It did exactly what it said it would do and would recommend for anyone who wants to save time or money

Definitely recommended. Does exactly what it says on the tin so couldn't ask for much better. Interface is clean, set it and forget it operation, and refreshingly honest and understanding policy when it comes to billing.

I had tried about 3-4 other apps before this one and they all fell short of what I wanted to do. This works great, allows for mass name changes, keeps a record of all the changes made to images, and automatically takes care of any new images I add.

Was pleasantly surprised at how well this app compressed my images, then thoroughly overjoyed when I realised it would auto add in alt tags based on the product title. Improved my page speeds AND SEO at same time. Worth every penny.

Wow... life-saving app. I had another app boost my seo, but they deleted all of my descriptions in the alt and pic description. Terrible for clients looking for my products... they couldn't find them in Google Search! All descriptions are back, photos compressed and speed enhanced. Fabulous

Very happy with the product. Tom was very helpful and helped me with the custom compression setting. Quality after compression is excellent.

I worried about the modifications on my store, I worried about the quality after the compression and the alt text on all my photos which is already optimized. I finally let the app compress ALL the pics automatically and WOW ! Quality after the compression : perfect ! (no difference) Alt text : stay the same as before.
