Not sure as yet. Will come back in a couple of days and check it out for speed testing. It reduced overall by 12% so am not sure of the effect it will have on speed. Time will tell. Will check back soon if an improvement has been made. But good clean app, easy to use.

A fantastic Shopify app, it improved our product page load speed by decreasing the file sizes of all our high-resolution photos without hurting the quality and vibrancy. We saw a direct increase in our conversion rate after installing Crush.Pics and best of all, it can all be automated giving you time to focus on other areas of your business. We would highly recommend it to all other Shopify store owners.

Best app I've found for compressing images and saving load time on your site. Automate it and let it go! The image quality loss from compression is not noticeable at all.

Hi Lisa, We're sorry that you didn't have a good experience with our app! We certainly don't want anyone to feel forced to upgrade and offer the free plan if users only need to compress a few images. We have to pay for each image compressed so that's why higher quotas and features are reserved for the paid plans. Does what it says on the tin. Works and works really well. We particularly like the feature in tag renaming to be able to include variant name in the image tag - as we use that as text that shows on hover when viewing thumbnails on the site. Works a treat. Haven't had much to do with support but they were great with the one small question I asked.

Easy to use and install. Only needed it for a short time. Would have kept it if the monthly price was a little lower.

Although I optimized all my images in Photoshop before I uploaded them to my store, this app reduced the overall image footprint even more without sacrificing image quality all in one easy click. Great job! :)

THIS APP IS AWESOME!!! I wish there was a way to separate asset images and product images. I would love to just be able to automatically optimize my product images, and then manually optimize only certain asset images. Please implement more control/options for the app, then it's true 5 stars. I would give it 4 stars, but I talked to support and it sounds like they will be implementing, so I will take their word for it and preemptively rate 5 stars.

We've been using CrushPics for six years now and received nothing but great support and reliable compression which has kept our site a fast upload plus SEO friendly image re-titling and alt text. We found Crush.pcs app Is very easy to use and automate setup, Has great customer support, Works great at compression, Works great with SEO file renaming, and Has very fast queuing->image compression after posting (no waiting).
