CJdropshipping: Much Faster
All reviews
Do not use this company in the US because they have poor customer service and will delay your orders consistently. Their inventory is never accurate, and the quality of their products are getting worse. This must be acceptable internationally, but I guess that is what you get for free dropshipping company.
I used CJ Dropshipping for a while, and honestly, it was disappointing. On paper, it looks big and promising, but in practice, things often don’t go as expected: Many products you find during research are simply not available in their catalog. Shipping often takes much longer than expected, especially from China. Prices can be higher than expected, making it hard to maintain a healthy margin. Order management can be cumbersome; it feels like you’re forced to pick products based on availability rather than what’s actually performing well in the market. In the end, I decided to stop using CJ because it just wasn’t sustainable for my business. I don’t want my customers waiting 15–25 days for delivery. Since switching to other suppliers (direct sourcing, EU/US warehouses), everything has been faster, more reliable, and more efficient. Conclusion: CJ may be okay for beginners or those with few alternatives, but for serious dropshipping in 2025, it’s too limited and too slow.
Stay away. Their "local warehouse products" aren't real, they ship everything from China so products don't take 3-7 days for delivery as they sate at these products. I thought I could use cjdropshipping to list some products on Temu US using the CJ US warehouse products but it didn't work out, they ship these items from China to a US warehouse which takes 10 days for delivery then they use your temu printed shipping label to ship the order from the local warehouse to the final customer. It's impossible to adhere to temu's shipping & delivery policy using cjdropshipping.
My account manager, Roxane Liu is the worst agent you can imagine! Not responsive, not solving problems, only generic and incompetent answers! My previous agent was amazing compared to Roxane, but she left for some reason. I asked to speak with her supervisor to discuss the issues i have with her and that she is not responsive to my messages on time, not solving problems, not giving even information as to what is happening with my orders! Solve your logistics delays and agent issues before your most consistent clients leave you! Because that is what will happen soon if the situation didn't change! What's funny is that i recently reached LEVEL 4, suggesting i have "order processing priority", but instead my orders are still delayed even more than before!
WORST COMPANY EVER MET!!!! From the very beginning, my experience with this company was terrible. Their customer service is extremely slow — every time a different operator answers, and it takes forever to get a solution. I had an issue with 10 orders(my first ordrers) They told me after a week that the product was out of stock, even though their website clearly showed it was available. Later, I found another company that provides the same type of service. I wanted to ship all my invetory(like thank you cards and some stickers,) a small package (around 2 kg) from them, they tried to charge me an outrageous “outbound fee” of $84 — just to send something from China to China! They are liars, scammers, and I would never recommend anyone to use this company. For reference, the manager I was in contact with was Isabela Xie. Avoid working with them at all costs.
I’m really disappointed with this purchase. I was assured that the product was not the same as the one on Temu and that the quality would be significantly better. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When the item arrived, it was exactly the same as what I had seen on Temu — same packaging, same material, same everything. I feel misled, and I wouldn’t have paid this price if I had known the truth. Be cautious if you’re expecting something different or higher quality. I asked for a refund because i bought it for 28nzd whereas in temu it’s only 13nzd but they won’t do it and instead offered a discount etc for future transactions which is impossible now that i don’t trust that they will deliver what they promised.
I am no longer using this supplier in my business due to ongoing issues that caused significant financial and reputational damage. Nearly every item customers received looked nothing like the photos shown in the listings. The products were extremely low quality, clearly sourced cheaply, and did not match the standards required to maintain customer trust. As a result, I received multiple complaints, returns, and ultimately lost customers. Order fulfillment was also unreliable, with late dispatches and tracking updates that caused platforms like TikTok Shop to auto-cancel orders. In several cases, customers received products without paying, leaving me to absorb the loss. When refunds were issued due to these fulfillment and quality issues, the supplier declined to take responsibility or provide reimbursement. Additionally, at the start of the relationship, I felt pressured to leave a positive review in exchange for proper support, which was unprofessional and concerning. Because of the consistent quality problems, financial loss, and impact on my brand, I have completely removed this supplier from my business and cannot recommend them to other merchants.
Here's the incident: I received an email from my customer informing me that their package still hadn't arrived, after two weeks. I paid for expedited shipping, which was supposed to arrive in 12 days in March (3 days for processing and 7 days for shipping to France). I contacted CJdropshipping's customer service, and they replied that the package was still in transit. I pointed out that it should have already been delivered and demanded an explanation. To my shock, I learned that CJ had received the wrong product. It took time for them to get the correct product, causing the delay, and I was told the package should arrive in about another week, if everything goes well. At no point, despite being aware of the issue, did CJ inform me by email, preventing me from notifying my customer and mitigating the situation. I then demanded a commercial gesture, specifically a refund for the shipping fees, as I also had to make a gesture to my customer. CJ's customer service replied that it would be better to stock the products at their warehouse to avoid such issues. However, I have more than 700 products in my shop, and my orders are random. I insisted on proper compensation, and after 48 hours, they offered me a $3 discount on my next order, provided I spent at least $10. I thought it was a joke. I insisted again for a proper compensation, and they finally offered a $5 discount on a $20 or more order. I refused this offer; it’s completely unacceptable. Because of CJ, I’m likely to lose my customer, and this is the second incident in two weeks. I don’t understand all these positive reviews; they seem fake because the reality is far from what’s promised. MONDAY, 4TH MAY 2026 I ordered a set of cutlery (forks, knives, spoons), and the quality is simply unacceptable: The stainless steel is of very poor quality The spoons are dangerous: the edges are sharp, rough, and not polished at all The forks are just as problematic: the tines are so sharp that you can almost cut your finger when handling them No finishing work, no polishing… these products are unusable for eating This is clearly far from a product intended for food use. On top of that, there is a questionable practice: after placing the order, I was asked to pay an additional fee for a so-called “weight adjustment.” This really feels like a recurring tactic to charge more money. Finally, I opened a dispute on April 25th. Today is May 4th, and I have received no response. Customer service is completely absent. In summary: poor quality, questionable business practices, and non-existent customer support. Personally, I believe CJ has become one of the worst players in e-commerce. In addition, when checking reviews on Trustpilot, it appears that CJ is under investigation for a large number of fake reviews...
I would NOT recommend CJ Dropshipping. Their inventory management is a complete disaster—products are constantly out of stock, yet their website never reflects it. I always have to inquire if items are actually available instead of them simply updating their inventory. It’s a huge waste of time and incredibly frustrating. Customer service is just as bad—slow to respond and not very helpful. When they finally do reply, they give vague answers and no real solutions. They never seem to improve their system, leaving sellers stuck with constant stock issues. And don’t even get me started on sample shipping—it takes way too long! If you're trying to test products before selling, expect major delays. Overall, CJ Dropshipping is unreliable, inefficient, and more trouble than it's worth. Look elsewhere if you want a smooth and stress-free dropshipping experience!
WIlla Chen is actually supports sellers. Very disappointing working with CJ. I put effort and they are asking me for similar items not same shows in ad.
Very bad experience. Their website description of the features is incredibly attractive. But when it comes to action, they can do almost nothing from what they offer. Terrible customer support. They communicate with customers not one by one, but with everyone at the same time, so as soon as they switch to you, you have to explain the problem again. Unbearably long. I tried for five days to get an answer to simple questions from the support service. I wrote emails, wrote in the chat, but I only received general answers. They answered my question for a week whether they could remove the tags from 100 T-shirts. The answer was: Do you already have them? And then silence again for several days.
So disappointed with this Good range of products but for all the test orders we did - not a single one get shipped and had to cancel to get a refund
Terrible customer service, and they never actually ship orders. I waited for my order to be shipped, but it remained pending until I contacted them—only to find out the product was out of stock. That’s when I realized they weren’t reliable, so I removed all their products from my store. Awful company. Always look into why a company has bad reviews rather than just the 5-star ones. Total scam.
At first, I thought CJ Dropshipping was the best option for my business, but now they are extremely disappointing. They are incredibly inefficient: they don’t update their inventory, and 3 or 4 days after placing an order, they casually tell you the product is out of stock—when your inventory shows thousands available! Their support is awful, responding with vague excuses and never actually solving any problems. Shipping is painfully slow, and if your order has more than one product, it turns into a complete disaster: delays, mix-ups, and constant errors. Totally frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend CJ Dropshipping to anyone looking for a reliable supplier.
"Much more trouble". I'm having issue over issue with them. Products have inventory on their page but when there is an order, it's out of stock?? After an order they ask me to pay another large amount for "adjustment", ruining the product margin. It's pointless.
Much slower. 20 DAYS! Most of the orders still not shipped, and they can't say a reason. This might be fatal for my store. They work ok only if you keep stock for 1-5 SKU no more. They have no brains to process more complex tasks
Stay away from CJ. All the 5 star reviews are from new people who CJ's agents prompt into leaving a review right after they answer one question. Their customer service is very poor - terrible communication skills, they'll forget/not do things you've asked for, very poor English, and a whole heap of problems. Shipping - Shipping times & processing times are HORRIBLE. I've had so many orders with processing times taking anywhere between 5-13 days (this is on top of shipping) and they'll just say "im sorry for the delay". Shipping prices are well above market rate, switching to a private supplier after how terrible they are. If you actually value good shipping times, customer service, quality pricing, and want to have a good experience for your customers do NOT use CJ. They also don't answer their support email, already tried to get in touch.
When I first started using CJdropshipping, my experience was positive. Angel, my account manager, was always quick to respond, informative, and helpful. The products I received were of good quality and orders were delivered on time. Unfortunately, my experience has changed dramatically in recent months. I have encountered repeated inventory issues where products shown as available could not actually be fulfilled, resulting in cancelled orders and refunds for my customers. This happened despite using CJ's inventory management features, which I expected would prevent these kinds of problems. As a store owner, reliability is essential. When customers place an order, I need confidence that it can be fulfilled. Sadly, that confidence is gone. My recent experience with CJdropshipping has been extremely disappointing, and I can no longer recommend the platform to merchants who are looking for a dependable long-term fulfillment partner.
I am very disappointed with CJ Dropshipping and my supplier experience. At first, everything was fine, but then things went wrong. My supplier added thank-you cards from another company to my orders without telling me. This caused big problems for my business and my reputation. I also paid extra for fast shipping, but the delivery took even longer than the regular shipping time. It was a total waste of money. On top of that, more than 20 orders didn’t arrive at my customers, and CJ refuses to give me a refund. My advisor, Anisa, didn’t tell me that some packages were returned to CJ. I only found out through Klarna. This experience has been terrible for my business and my finances. I give CJ 0 out of 5 stars and do not recommend working with this company.
