Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B

To start out with we are using a suite of Bold apps. Customer Pricing, Product Options, Product Upsell, Loyalty Points, Product Discount and Bold Brain. All of the apps working together have allowed us to expand and manage multiple aspects of our business. Customer Pricing allows us to target specific customer groups for professional discount programs by industry. We use targeted marketing to promote registering for the special discount programs. The customers in these groups are tagged and see adjusted pricing as soon as they login to the store. The ease at which the discounting is handled has encouraged the users in these groups to purchasing more frequently. The majority of our catalog is customized or personalized and requires a degree of complexity in presenting the various offerings. Product Options allows us to manage those complex products. Product Upsell allows us to present complementary products when specific products are purchased, Product Discount allows us to create BOGOs, Sales and special promotions all designed to increase revenue. Loyalty Points allows us to build interest and repeat business. All of these apps working together have helped to increase activity in the store. The fact that they are all Bold apps makes them easy to manage and gives us access to the excellent Bold support team

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES INSTALL THIS APP. IT'S CHANGED ALL THE PRICING ON MY STORE SO EVERY PRODUCT YOU VIEW IS THE PRICE OF WHATEVER YOU LAST VIEWED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I PAID FOR THE $40 INSTALLATION FROM BOLD WHICH TOOK 4 DAYS AND NOW I CANT GET THEM TO REMOVE / FIX THE FLAWED CODE THAT'S NOW LITTERED THROUGH MY SITE ALSO, THEY SAY LEAVE THEIR CODE WHEN YOU DELETE THEIR APP. WHICH MEANS THEIR BROKEN CODE REMAINS ON EVERY LITTLE LIQUID PAGE THROUGHOUT YOUR STORE. I'VE DELETED THE APP AND IT STILL SHOWS WRONG PRICING. I'm loving the app! We couldn't run our online store without the Product Options app and the Customer Pricing app, and the Bold team has made some excellent products! Their installation instructions were very thorough, and the support team is excellent! I had some questions about the products and wanted someone to review the installation and make sure everything was working properly, so Mohit with the Bold team got on the case and got us fixed up quickly. He also helped me troubleshoot some browser issues I was having on my end making the pricing app act up. Thanks Mohit!!!

Working with Bold was an absolutely nightmare. This app is not meant for real businesses. We are a manufacturer of science equipment with over 1,200 SKU's and this app actually lost us money. From double discounting tiered wholesale customers and double dipping monthly promos, discount codes... The app creates duplicate variants in order to track discounts (herein lies it's main issues of compatibility). We had probably 10 cases with Bold and the first rep we worked with was very helpful but the main issue isn't the customer service (although after our first point of contact they failed to really answer and help in the depth we needed after things were messed up) the main issue is the app itself. If you are a small start up or store then this app maybe useful. It has so many issues even things like not having the ability to select a collection to mass discount because we had 'too many' collections. If Bold was honest about saying the needs we had or the size of our store was too big then it could have avoided 90 days of disaster and this poor review.

I'm giving the Bold App a 5-Star review. We've only had the app installed for a couple of days and our website has not officially launched as of yet (although all tests so far have shown smooth and full functionality so far), but I really wanted to write about Bold's service. We've been in conversation with the support team at Bold for the past week and the experience has been really really great. The download was easy and then we needed help with the coding process. The Bold Support Team was "on it" at our request. They gave us time-line specifics and have kept us "in-the-loop" every step of the way. If my staff had a question, we simply sent an email request and we literally had replies within the hour. So at the moment I/We cannot say enough good things about Bold, their pricing, and their process.
