A spectacular customer service, in a few minutes my problem has been solved. An exquisite treatment and an app with which to protect your website from bots or fraudulent people, 100% recommended!

UPDATE: The app developer personally attacked me in an email even though one of their employees was very kind in wanting to help me fix the problem explaining the delay. But because of what the CEO said to me I will never pay for any of their services or recommend it to anyone. I'm the kind of person that will change my review if I get great service. But that email just told me I did the right thing in expressing my frustrations. Shopify you need to protect your store owners from companies that treat them like this! I stand by what I said below: This app killed my stores performance. When I tried to reach out to them for help I got no response. So I'm taking the stars I gave originally completely away. As a business owner going to school and raising my kids I do not have time to chase companies like this down only to get ignored. I'm moving on and seriously thinking about leaving Shopify altogether. I have nothing but headaches dealing with this platform.

It is unfortunate that the support representative assigned to your request was out sick for several days uncharacteristically. While an apology doesn't help speed up the delay, after returning to work we offered to help but you turned it down. I'm sorry that you feel that the app caused performance issues on your shop. Great App for securing any spam bots etc. The App was very easy to install and the customer service is on point! Can definitely recommend.

Hands down - best app to protect your shop from bot spam. Affordable, easy to set up, and it works. But the best of all is the excellent support—best support of any app we have ever used. If you are running into any issues - they are available to you. And right away. Not like with most other apps in days. Whenever we had a problem, they not only responded within a few hours. They also solved the issue right away. KUDOS.

Installed app, still got lots bot accounts, then issues with theme appeared, deleted app but can see lots code left as always with apps that play around with theme, awaiting a reply from them to go in and remove all this code thats ruined my theme!!
Thank you for your review. We did explain why you were seeing spam and the recommended solution. After promptly uninstalling (without unprotecting your forms), our team informed you that unprotecting forms before uninstall is recommended and in our help docs. In any case, it seemed you were not willing to reinstall and unprotect them so we did request collaborator access and unprotect them manually.

We had a spam bot attack where 9000 new fake customer accounts were created over a period of only a few days and these had to be checked and manually all deleted, nightmare! That's when we found the shopprotector app who kindly did the set up to protect all our vulnerable pages and we haven't had even one fake account created since. Small monthly fee to pay to avoid these sudden attacks so we'd highly recommend ShopProtector.

Love this App it takes the headache out of getting ridiculous amounts of spam. Just upgraded my website and had some issues with shop protector, but Shop Protector went all out and did a full upgrade just to accommodate my website security. The support was there until my website was secure again. I have been with Shop Protector for quite a while and I have come to enjoy and rely on the security and peace of mind they offer.

This app has helped us prevent bot sign ups. In the rare case that I've needed support, they've been very responsive and helpful.

Our store was having some technical issues with our sign up page and the support from Julius was quick and very effective. We even had to have another Shopify App involved which could have made it more complicated but Julius still managed to respond in a timely manner and provide everything needed. The support team for this experience was very well received. Thank you!

I was receiving a lot of spam and emails from people who's emails had been used to create accounts on my website. I've installed Shop Protector on my site to rid me of this nuisance. The Team at SP were very efficient and set up the app then updated it when there was a Shopify update. So far so good...

My store had a surge of bot accounts one day, so I installed this app, and I haven't been seeing any of them again since. It works! Setup was very easy and straightforward too.

Unnecessary app that is impossible to remove. App support require access to your account to rectify. Very concerning.

The app uninstallation process is the same for all apps platform wide. Most customers do not require our intervention but in your case did offer assistance as requested within 1 business day.

This app has been great to combat spam. We have seen a 100% decrease so far on multiple sites. More importantly, customer service is excellent and are there to help. Certainly recommend.

This star rating is for the Basic plan. Read to end of review for notes on my brief experience with the Plus plan when it was a new product. 5 stars for Basic plan! It blocks bots from using the Contact and New Customer registration forms, and eliminated all of my fake new customer registrations and 95% of my fake contact form use. It can't block 100% because some bots will have cached the old form pages and use those for a year or more. But it will stop new bot use of the forms, and eventually old forms cached by bots will be refreshed. I discontinued use of the Plus plan in December 2019, so my review doesn't cover any developments in the product since then. It was still a very new product at that time. The Plus plan has order blocking features that interfered with Shopify's accelerated check outs that skip the check out page, such as Paypal Express. When I tried the Plus plan, it cancelled and refunded legitimate customer orders. Luckily for me, the Plus plan is more geared toward drop-shippers to stop reseller bots from buying out trending products -- not my business type, so not something I need. Also, Human Presence personnel and customer support are extremely responsive to customer communication.
I’m glad to hear that you are a fan of Shop Protector and that the Basic plan functionality continues to work so well for you. Shop Protector Plus was designed to offer premium features like Checkout Protection with configurable anti-fraud business rules, convenience utilities like Bulk Order Cancellation, Order Cancellation Workflows, etc. We have many satisfied merchants who offer regular flash sales (limited quantity, highly anticipated product releases) and require this functionality to ensure reasonable customer satisfaction. Otherwise, all the hard to get merchandise is acquired with bots and loyal customers are left empty handed. We do make recommendations to all our Plus plan customers to avoid the use of accelerated checkouts at the product and/or cart level as it does not give Shop Protector the opportunity to follow the customer's behavior through the life of their shopping session. Unfortunately, at the time that you installed Plus we did not have steps in place to check each store’s configuration and make such recommendations and even make the change on behalf of the merchant as we do now. We thank you for your valuable and honest feedback and hope that this app will suit you well and continue to provide the protection you need.

Absolutely perfect and did exactly what it said it would do. Immediately stopped the annoying spam accounts that were happening daily.

I was having 100's of bot sign ups until I installed this app. I needed some assistance and was quickly given the help I needed. Now not one fake customer sign up since I started using Shop Protector. I highly recommend this app.
