I integrated this app into my store to address issues with spam and bots, and it has provided full protection. The customer service is exceptional; they assisted me in resolving a challenging issue, going above and beyond to identify the problem and work through it together. I'm extremely pleased to have discovered this app—it's been a game-changer for my store's security and support needs.

We're a big fan of this app. 10-50 NEW spam accounts were being added to our store each day. This app got that down to zero. We had a recent new issue with spam accounts while using this app still and they fixed it. Customer service has been responsive and helpful. We would recommend this app to anyone needing protection against spam accounts!

This has been working very well since install (support helped me make sure all forms are protected). I was able to turn off the annoying captcha and I am not getting ANY spam customer signups (so far using for 2 weeks)! I was getting hundreds of fake customers A DAY when I turned off captcha before and got super messy with the klaviyo connection too.

I am a new user of Shop Protector and what a relief to finally not have to spend hours of wasted time deleting bogus customers. I was getting blasted with up to 50 useless, annoying and potentially damaging bogus customers per day. Deleting them was painfully slow and tedious. I was sceptical I could get this fixed since Shopify seems to have abandoned its customers for any help in this regard but decided to try Shop Protector and voila, an instant solution! I am a micro store and as the sole employee I do everything and wasting valuable time clearing up annoyances was a time-waster, now removed from my "to do list" every day! Shop Protector and Pillowpacker Inflatable Travel Pillows are now pals for life!

We had to remove Google reCaptcha for data protection reasons because we are based in the EU. This app is so far the best way to protect yourself from spam. The support is friendly and responds quickly. Thank you very much!

This is the ONLY app I found that stops the bots. A total no-brainer for the price and the support has been excellent. Bots were loading up my store and Klaviyo account and costing me money. This app saves me the trouble of manually deleting their spam accounts. A+

This was previously a 5-star review. Now it's a cautionary tale. I suspect that something has changed at the company that produces this app, because our recent experience has been terrible, and our early experiences were quite positive. For a long time, this app seemed to block all spam registrations, but recently, we realised we were receiving hundreds of them, and that they seemed not to be blocked out. I reached out to support, and that's where things really went badly. The support agent was extremely unhelpful. He constantly suggested that there must be another registration form that we're not telling them about. This is rather ridiculous, given that protection was working previously, and that they should have technology to be able to detect what registration forms we have. After a dozen back and forth messages, the situation went from bad to worse. At some point, I realised that they had actually disabled our registration form entirely. It seemed that real users couldn't register, but yet spam bot registrations continue to trickle in. Not only is this app no longer working, the customer service was just a waste of time. I would recommend against installing this app, and I would be hesitant to give their agents access to your store.

I am using Shop Protector + to protect my store against bots. In the two years we've been in business, we never had a problem with bots until a month ago. Suddenly, our shop started getting hit with multiple attacks. So far, SP+ has stopped this bot nonsense (yay!).

Shop Protector is great! All 3 of my Shopify stores got hit with the same bot on the same week. It tried to make 48 purchases and made 50 customer accounts on all 3 of my stores using the same name! One of my stores has been open for a while and never got a single bot until my 2 new Shopify stores got hit with one. Julius went in and finished the backend set up for me on all 3 stores, which I really appreciated. Just make sure you turn OFF Auto Cancel Suspicious Orders or it will auto cancel all of your orders. I had to give some customers discount codes via email so they'd place their order again. Other than that, I haven't had a single abandoned cart from a bot since! I'm very grateful.

UPDATE: The app developer personally attacked me in an email even though one of their employees was very kind in wanting to help me fix the problem explaining the delay. But because of what the CEO said to me I will never pay for any of their services or recommend it to anyone. I'm the kind of person that will change my review if I get great service. But that email just told me I did the right thing in expressing my frustrations. Shopify you need to protect your store owners from companies that treat them like this! I stand by what I said below: This app killed my stores performance. When I tried to reach out to them for help I got no response. So I'm taking the stars I gave originally completely away. As a business owner going to school and raising my kids I do not have time to chase companies like this down only to get ignored. I'm moving on and seriously thinking about leaving Shopify altogether. I have nothing but headaches dealing with this platform.

Great App for securing any spam bots etc. The App was very easy to install and the customer service is on point! Can definitely recommend.

Hands down - best app to protect your shop from bot spam. Affordable, easy to set up, and it works. But the best of all is the excellent support—best support of any app we have ever used. If you are running into any issues - they are available to you. And right away. Not like with most other apps in days. Whenever we had a problem, they not only responded within a few hours. They also solved the issue right away. KUDOS.
