Orderly Emails ‑ Templates App
All reviews
this app just deleted all my collections without any notice. just like that. be aware of the permissions you allow them to have.
Just found out that this app went rouge and deleted almost 50 collection pages, which in turn also deleted any menus linked to those collections. Now I am spending a great deal of time undoing this mess. Not happy.
extremely expensive
Hi there, Sorry to hear you found the app pricing to be expensive. Finding the right balance of app price, while also keeping it a viable long term business is not easy. We'll take your feedback into account for the future. Thanks again, Bjorn
never replay to mail support
Hi there, That is very strange, I can see our team have replied to both of your emails the same day. For some reason they have not reached you :( If you log into the app, and click the "Help" button you can start a live chat with the team, then they can send you the replies again through there. You should also see their earlier replies automatically as soon as you log back into the app. If you have any more problems with it, or need anything else. Feel free to reply here too. Many thanks, Bjorn Forsberg Orderly Emails by FORSBERG+two
app is currently now working, my emails are going out in the old format
Hi there, We can see you have not contacted our support team, they'd love to help with any issues you are having and are available 24/7. It sounds like perhaps you just need to "Export to Shopify" from the app to get the latest version of your templates setup. Please do get in contact and have a great day ahead. Kind regards, Bjorn Forsberg Orderly Emails by FORSBERG+two
Very sorry to see you've had a bad experience. Since you've successfully used the app for over 4 years, we'd very much like to understand what caused you to leave a negative review now. Please do send us an email on [email protected] with any feedback or issues, we'd love to help or improve. Kind regards, Bjorn Forsberg Orderly Emails by FORSBERG+two
使いやすいようで実は使いにくい。
Hi there, We'd love to hear the reason for the 1-star, so we can help or improve :) Please do send us a message at [email protected] with details. All the best, Bjorn Forsberg Orderly Emails by FORSBERG+two
Their programing is messed up. Cannot order a new template without renewing the current one. I am not paying $198.00 just to get the same newer template without errors. Customer service was zero help. You have to cont them to have logos replaced or removed.
Our apologies you had a bad experience and couldn't update your email design. We've found and fixed the issue that was causing it now so you can login and update your designs again 🙂 Please do get in contact if you need anything else. Kind regards, Bjorn / FORSBERG+two
Previously, we chose not to leave a review as a gesture of goodwill, but after the false accusations and lies made by Sarah against our company, we feel compelled to respond. First, all Shopify apps include a “Plans” page. From this page, you can either switch to another plan or cancel your current one if only a single plan is available. Canceling a plan does not mean using the app for free — it means the app will stop functioning once the billing period ends. Second, while nearly all Shopify apps offer monthly options, this app pushes users into a yearly plan. Even if that’s the company’s business decision, requiring customers to manually set calendar reminders just to avoid renewal is unreasonable. No reminder emails are sent as the renewal date approaches, which seems intentionally designed to make users forget — and by the time you realize, the annual fee has already been charged. Third, the email templates provided by the app are not compatible with Shopify’s native marketing automations. Fourth, the customer support team is unaware of several key issues and provides incomplete answers. Fifth, email templates must be copied and pasted manually, one by one — there is no automation or bulk transfer process. If Sarah or any team member from this company wishes, we can provide even more negative experiences. The company is clearly exploiting a market gap — since few apps support customized email templates for Shopify, they are taking advantage of the lack of competition.
The merchant demanded to use the app without a subscription, and threatened to leave a one-star review if we did not comply 🤷🏼♀️ Regards, Sarah / FORSBERG+two
Lovely templates that are easy to set up, professional, and offer a variety of options for upsell/cross-sell. I'm very pleased with OrderlyEmails. UPDATE: This app accessed and DELETED all of my Custom Collections--all Collections, tags, content, etc. that related to the two dozen I had spent years creating and perfecting for my e-commerce site. My site entirely depends upon the Custom Collections for everything from menus to page layout to product categorization and, overnight, they inserted a bug into my site that deleted, without any ability to recover, everything and merely said "apologies." Their suggested processes for recovery are useless to me and I have to now spend days upon days rebuilding my site. It would have only been worse if they deleted products. What a massive breach of protocol, coding, common sense, trust, and management from an absolute abortion of a company. They are just paid to minimally beautify my e-mails--NOT TOUCH MY SITE STRUCTURE IN ANY WAY. I simply cannot believe this happened and am stuck drowning in this mess for the foreseeable future while my sales plummet.
Thanks for the awesome review 🤩 We're so happy to hear that you love our templates and that they're easy to set up. Kind Regards, Sarah / FORSBERG+two
You have to pay for all the templates... Make some free templates, and some premium ones so that everyone can use the app.
“I see you sell coffee, but I didn’t find any free ones. At least make some free and some premium so everyone can have coffee!” 1-star! ;) On a more serious note though, I'm sorry you found the cost of the app prohibitive. Luckily, Shopify comes with standard designs for all of the emails out of the box, and you can make some minor customisations yourself. See this help article: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-online/notifications/edit-template#add-a-logo-to-your-email-templates OrderlyEmails is really built for businesses that want to invest in their brand and customer experience, and costs a one-time fee of $49 for an email theme (24 email templates), with free updates for life. I'm an independent app developer, so offering free design, development, server costs, and support (the big one) for everyone is just not feasible. I know some giant companies offer free services, but that's so they can make money from you in different ways. That's just not how I want to do business. Thanks for your understanding, and have a great Friday! Bjorn Forsberg OrderlyEmails by FORSBERG+two
I’d genuinely love to know how many (hundreds of?) millions of dollars the recent disaster has collectively cost users of this app, and will continue to for years to come with compounding. Simply unforgivable. And to be honest, Shopify can't be described as entirely innocent either.
This sounds like a great app, but for some reason it's not working for us. I've tried for 2 weeks now. 1 - The template wasn't showing our logo and requested font types, etc then 2 - Addresses in emails (confirmations) weren't showing properly. Making our customers anxious and us looking bad. Support - It seems that the support didn't want to acknowledge that the issue was with the app. None of these issues happened prior to installing the app. Shopify support Tier 2, has confirmed it's the app, but Support just wont help or acknowledge it's an issue or even a POTENTIAL issue with the app. Poor form.
Orderly emails just deleted all our collections and hid all sales channel in a single sunday afternoon. FYI email received from them about the incident. So far, they won't offer any refund and support other than saying they are sorry. We have asked them for help as this has impacted our business greatly, but no efforts made. They did not even reach about the incident by email. We had to find out on our own. Incident with Orderly Emails Our app had an incident today, causing incorrect Collections to be deleted from some stores. We have informed Shopify and are investigating if these deletions can be reversed. You can check of any of your Collections were deleted, by checking your Store Activity Log page in the Shopify Admin. Look for the text “Orderly Emails deleted a collection” https://admin.shopify.com/settings/general/activity As soon as the issue was detected, we stopped the process to ensure no additional stores would be affected. As these collections were never stored in our systems, we unfortunately have no way of recreating them ourselves. The release was intended to cleanup duplicate collections created by Orderly Emails when tracking recommended products for your emails, but the bug caused it to delete other collections unintentionally. We are sincerely sorry for this, worst Sunday ever. We will update you as we can.
Have used this app for over 10 years. Have recommended it to multiple other store owners. It's been great until now (March 2026) when we get notified (2 days after it's happened!!!) that the app has deleted multiple product collections and multiple menu navigation links across the store. What the hell an email template app is doing making such major changes to non-email related parts of our store is beyond us. Totally unacceptable.
