I do not recommend it for me. I have updated my rating from one star to four. This system requires advanced knowledge to navigate effectively, and I initially struggled with the CSV and RSS feed data. So, if you think it's plug-in-playplay. It is not. You will need some advanced knowledge.
Yes, you are absolutely right that Matrixify app requires the skills to work with Excel or CSV files. Great app, makes all the export and import needs so much easier and is such a great improvement from the implemented shopify feature, that I wouldn't know where to begin. They also have a very easy to understand tutorial section which never leaves you hanging. Absolutely worth it!

The best app on Shopify! The amount of features included in this app is unbelievable, it single-handedly assisted in the migration from Magento to Shopify, transferring millions of orders/products with ease. The support is awesome, the fact you can hop on Slack 24/7 and get a response off a real person makes the monthly fee worth it 100x over!

I was able to migrate all my transactions from Square to Shopify myself. Matrixify has very robust capabilities but their how-to guides make it easy to do it yourself.
Very glad you made it - impressed for your skills and precision with the Matrixify. Especially because we don't have an automated migration from Square yet, but still, you used the right approach to migrate it anyway, with your bare hands. Excellent app! Importing inventory is a breeze. Been using this app for almost 1.5 years and cannot imagine our life without it. Default Shopify inventory export/import is a pain! Thank you for solving this problem, Matrixify! Cepuri nost tautiešiem!

it works fine but a bit expensive for a monthly fee
Thank you for your Matrixify app review and sharing your experience. We aim to keep the app prices affordable, including not changing our plan Pricing for many years now. But we do understand that, depending on your import/export needs you might need a more expensive plan. Here are a few tricks and notes to keep in mind helping you to keep the costs lower: -The plan limits are for each import/export separately, there are not monthly, daily or weekly limits for our app -You can use Filters in your export jobs to not export all items from the store but only those matching the filters. -For usage in multiple stores, we offer 1 additional free subscription per every 1 paid subscription. For example, to migrate data between 2 Shopify stores, you only need to take paid app subscription in one store. The other store can be activated to the same plan for free by linking it in the paid stores Matrixify Settings. Our Support team has tried to reach you to look more into the app charges in the store, requirements you have and how we could further assist your specific use-case. Please contact us so that we can look more into this and better document your specific use-case for future developments.

Please stay away form this APP, they have made continuous errors on my website, and although I cancelled the subscription 2 months ago, they are still taking money from my account (over £100). I am speaking with Shopify to help me stop this robbery and fraud.
Matrixify team has not been able to reach the store owner but has contacted the Shopify store developer regarding the issues in the store. The specific issues caused in the store are related to migrating over manually updated data and merchants own source data not exactly matching the merchants requirements for the new store. Our team is in contact with the developer to resolve the said issues and help merchant to clean up and correct their data. The Matrixify app charges in the store are billed by Shopify automatically when the Merchant chooses the paid plan and approves the charge. After the subscription is cancelled, the last charge in the store would be for a charge period while the app subscription was still active. Due to this the bill for the last app charge might come after cancelling the app subscription as it comes together with your next Shopify bill. The app subscription was cancelled on December 24, 2024. Merchant has contacted us regarding refunding of the app charges but has not further replied to our Support team questions regarding the app charges and billing which we needed to ensure that correct charges and bills are refunded for the correct store. Our team has issued refunds for the app charges anyway, but the Merchant has not acknowledged the refunds or our attempts to address the billing issues reported in the review. We feel this review is unjust and therefore is particularly painful for our team. Please reply to our Support team messages regarding the review and app charges in the store. Or feel free to send a new message to [email protected]. Our team will be happy to look more into this and provide further details if needed to resolve the issue reported in the App Store review.

I had 1,500 old orders to import from a Wordpress ecommerce site. The Matrixify app did an excellent job and now all of my old orders are in my Shopify site. It wasn't easy, though. VERY steep learning curve to get my data formatted in a spreadsheet correctly. But when I had a question, the staff responded immediately and helpfully. So overall it's a really great app but it's mighty complex for the average user.

The documentation for Matrixify is incredibly thorough! I was able to successfully migrate my Woocommerce products, customers, and orders to my new Shopify shop. I did have a few questions in the beginning, just to double-check that I understood everything correctly, and customer service response was prompt and helpful.

Useless app, also the support not responding for days
Thank you for raising your concern regarding the Matrixify app. Our reply here is around one day late as it takes around a day or two until Shopify approves and publishes app store reviews, which is when we first see it. From our Support system we can see that both your email ticket and in-app feedback was replied to on the same day within few hours since receiving them. Please check your mailbox spam and other folders for our replies from mailto:[email protected]. Our team is quite shocked to receive such a negative feedback seeing that our support have replied to your messages and hope that we can resolve the issue.
