This app will mess up your data. Then when you don't use it/uninstall it they threaten to freeze your Shopify. Can't reach anyone. Take it from a certified data specialist...don't use. UPDATE: I am writing to formally address a serious issue caused by your company with my account, which was frozen despite my attempts to resolve the matter. I was charged $20 for a service I did not use, and the product caused significant data issues. Despite notifying your team of these problems, my account continue to be held hostage until the disputed charge is paid. I request an immediate refund of the $20 and stay away from my account. Failure to address this promptly will result in this review remaining public. I am disappointed by the lack of accountability and urge you to rectify this situation to restore trust.
Hello! Prior to the app store review, our team received one support ticket which did not explain the issues with the app in the store or charges in the store. Our team had replied to that ticket 20 minutes after it was received but we did not hear any response back. Without further context or details we could not know of the scope of the issues with the app charges in your store. After the review was placed we again tried to contact merchant via multiple email addresses we could find linked to the store, from one of which the merchant replied to us to provide more context only on the charges but not what was the actual issue with the app in the store. The app charges in the store are managed by Shopify automatically. The store was not being "held hostage" by our team. Shopify charges the store automatically and if the Shopify bill is not paid the Shopify automatically might froze the store until any outstanding Shopify bills are paid. We as an app developer do not have ability to see or affect these unpaid/pending Shopify bills in your store. Once the app charges were paid we issued refund for them after which we have tried to contact the store multiple times but have not received any responses. Our team is still hopeful to resolve the negative review and help you to correct errors and issues you have in your import file so that you can use the app to the fullest. Please reply to our support emails so we can further assist you with the app and resolve any outstanding issues.

Matrixify is of the most useful apps in the entire Shopify store, we have been customers for years and this app is an essential part of our business. It's an extremely powerful tool for updating products, orders, and more. The customer support is unmatched as well. Highly recommend!

I had a simple task of migrating historical orders from one Shopify store to another. I followed the step-by-step instructions they sent me. However, since I used a 3rd party fulfillment service to fulfill the original orders, Matrixify was unable to create the order fulfillments upon importing the orders, which left me with thousands of unfulfilled orders that started to be automatically fulfilled again in the new store by my fulfillment service (nightmare). Nowhere in the documentation was I warned that this was a limitation of their system (the docs have now been updated per my suggestion). My only option was to manually update the fulfillment locations of thousands of old orders and fulfill them manually. Otherwise, it seems to be a good app and was easy to use.
Thank you for your honest review and sorry for the trouble you had to go through. 🙏 Indeed different systems and integrations in Shopify stores might have different effects on the data imports. Some of which we have listed in our tutorials, but as usually not possible to list all of them. Thank you very much for your suggestions on improving our tutorials, we are sure it will give a great value for other merchants in the future. For large data migrations and imports it is important to check what services and automations you have set up in your store before doing major imports. It helps to test import with a few Orders before going all-in to see and ensure how other such systems might act on the migrated data. We have now also added ability in Matrixify to first move Fulfillment to the Location as per the uploaded file and only then try to fulfill it which should resolve most of similar cases in the future. But indeed we cannot control how other services will act and process any created Order regardless of actions we try to do on it after the creation. Very sorry once again, and thank you so much for bringing this issue up, and being so understanding to resolve this. 🫶
Matrixify is indispensable to our operations. It's one of the most critical and heavily used apps in our Shopify tech stack. It streamlines complex tasks with ease and gives us the flexibility we need to manage our data at scale. We rely on it daily for a variety of functions: Exporting product data to audit and validate correct attribution Performing bulk product updates (activations, copy changes, tagging) Exporting order data for financial reconciliation Without Matrixify, many of these processes would be significantly more time-consuming. It's a powerful, reliable tool that we can't imagine running our Shopify store without.

Great app for cleaning up Shopify. We had a lot of old unused and never used products. Using Matrixify was an easy process to delete unwanted products.

Matrixify is a "can't live without" app... it not only significantly accelerates your workflow, but it is also intuitive, accurate, and robust. Whether it's projects as large as transferring product catalogs (complete with meta/custom fields) into Shopify via APIs, or as small as exporting a collection of SKUs, it's reliable, easy to use, and efficient.
