Die Einrichtung ist sehr gut und wenn etwas nicht funktioniert bekommt man vom Support innerhalb von Minuten eine Antwort. Vielen Dank! TOP
One problem after another. Zero manners and no attempt to help. Don't waste your time with this app.
Merchant uses some misconfigured E-Mail auto-responder, that sends me automatic receipt confirmations every time he sends me an E-Mail. Unfortunately the merchant also lost track of what is going in this avalanche of useless E-mails, doesn't react to my E-Mails, and then vents his frustration here.
Fantastic app that we have been using for years and support queries and requests are responded to rapidly!
Wir nutzen die App seit längerer Zeit. Der Service ist sehr gut.
Absolutely no service when having problems! Zu der Meldung vom Anbieter als Reaktion auf diese Bewertung: Ja, nicht wir, sondern unsere Agentur war in Kontakt. Und nein, die Rückmeldung oder eine Hilfestellung gab es nicht. WIr haben inzwischen einen Weg gefunden, die Steuerproblematik via Tags und Rabatt zu korrigieren.
Zu diesem Punkt: "die Rückmeldung oder eine Hilfestellung gab es nicht": das ist glatt gelogen. Sieben Emails wurden zwischen uns ausgetauscht. Es ist äußerst ungerecht eine 1 Sterne Bewertung für eine Einschränkung der Shopify Platform zu vergeben, auf die wir keinerlei Einfluss haben (kein Steuerabzug bei Fixpreisen). Rabattcodes und Tags - das klingt nach einer sehr professionellen Lösung. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass das Finanzamt, ausgewiesene Steuern, die dann per Rabatt wieder abgezogen werden, auch so sieht.
Seit Monaten versuche ich mit dem support eine Lösung zu finden. Es wird immer behauptet dass das App korrekt funktioniert aber Fakt ist, dass nur die Artikel aber nicht der Versandbetrag korrekt berechnet wird. Mit Billie zusammen kommt es dann nicht korrekt auf der Rechnung raus. ich habe seither immer wieder Rechnungen manuell stornieren muessen da es nicht klappt. Scheinbar laut support ist es ein 'glitch' von shopify und man hätte diesen vor einigen Monaten an shopify angetragen. man hat mir die ticket Nummer dafür gegeben, dass ich mich an shopify wenden kann, aber ich denke es ist des App Entwicklers Aufgabe sich zu kümmern dass der Bug entfernt wird. Ich hätte das App gerne genutzt und immer wieder den Support gefragt, aber so ist es leider nicht nutzbar fuer uns. Schade. Anmerkung: nachdem ich meine Rezension abgeschickt hatte, kam diese super Antwort von dem App Entwickler, bei jeder Antwort die dieser sendet, ist der Kunde schuld, liest man sie durch. Das Problem ist, wenn man monatelang versucht so ein 'Bug' versucht zu lösen, was ein Kunde nunmal nicht selber kann! dann ist es leider nicht moeglich die App zu nutzen, die man bereits seit Monaten auch immer bezahlt hat. Es waren viele Versuche, aber dann zu sagen, dass man es dem Kunden 'nicht begreiflich' machen kann, ist schon frech. Besser waere es dem Shopify support hier Dampf zu machen und sich zu kümmern dass die App einwandfrei funktioniert anstatt die Rezession so zu kommentieren. Ich war schliesslich geduldig und habe lange gewartet. Daher habe ich auch gesagt schade, ich habe nicht gesagt, dass der Developer schuld ist, es kann ja auch shopify Fehler machen wie in dem Fall, aber dennoch kann es nur der Developer lösen. Und ja, leider kann ich dann nicht 5 Sterne geben, wenn die App nicht 100% funktioniert. Die Idee ist gut, die App Ansicht waere klasse, aber ein Bug ist ein Bug.
Leider war es uns in vielen Konversationen nicht möglich, der Shop-Betreiberin begreiflich zu machen, dass der "Bug" einfach eine Limitation der Shopify Plattform ist, an der wir absolut nichts ändern können. Hat sie das Problem nun gelöst? Nein, denn so wie sie sich das vorstellt, funktioniert es einfach nicht. Weder mit Exemptify, noch mit einer anderen App. An statt dessen gibt es eine Frust-Bewertung für Exemptify. Wir können nur hoffen, dass die Kunden der Shop-Betreiberin fairer in der Bewertung ihres Angebots sind. Nachtrag: Es wird abenteurlich. Jetzt wirft uns die Händlerin vor, nicht genug Einfluss auf die Entwicklung der Shopify Plattform zu haben. Das ist in etwa so, als ob man einem Apple Händler eine negative Bewertung gibt, weil das iPhone nicht in Khakigrün verfügbar ist. Außerdem wird dann noch zugegeben, dass es nicht unsere Schuld ist, dennoch werden wir bestraft. In Zukunft schlagen wir der Shop-Betreiberin folgendes vor: App (kostenlos) testen, wenn es nicht funktioniert, wie es soll, App wieder deinstallieren. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt haben wir gesagt, dass sich an der Funktionsweise von Exemptify etwas ändern wird. Ziel von solchen Frust-Berwertungen ist es einfach nur Schaden anzurichten, denn zwischen einer 1-Sterne und einer 5-Sterne Bewertung ist viel Spielraum.
I had a special request regarding the price settings for the Comparison price, to be different from the settings of the Regular price. This possibility was not available in the standard settings of the app, so I wondered if this was possible at all. But Thorsten fixed it in a day for me, exactly the way I wanted it. That is what I call "100% customer satisfaction by Exemptify".
The app is bugged, and does not work.
Merchant had Exemptify installed for months, then angrily contacted us to complain it doesn't work, but provided no details of what exactly is not working or how we can help. After asking for details of what exactly is not working, we received this response: "I hired a devoloper. Who said it was configured but the thing does not work. " A further attempt to try to finally get some answers was left unanswered, instead the merchant decided to leave this review a few weeks later - still without any useful information at all.
The app requires a Shopify VAT include/exclude setting which makes it impossible to define the same VAT inclusive prices for B2C customers in all countries. Support by Exemptify feels patronising as the guy blames the customer to be ignorant in stead of admitting that Exemptify lacks this functionality. The required functionality is easily available in the Woocommerce EU VAT plugin, which indicates we don’t ask a silly or impossible question. The app might be ok for B2B only companies. A combination of B2B and B2C customers doesn’t offer basic functionality which took us a long time to hear from Exemptify.
This merchant does not understand, that the Shopiy tax inclusion setting has to be activated, otherwise Shopify will never deduct taxes - regardless of tax-exemption or location of the customer. There is nothing we can do about that.

Getting the app to function correctly has posed some challenges. The VAT was accurately deducted from the prices, but unfortunately, it was added back in the final step of the payment process. Currently, it seems to be working (after assistance from customer service), though it doesn't appear very stable. Unfortunately, we have been unable to determine the source of the error.
Works perfectly and helps us manage VATID within the EU. Easy installation and configuration. The support is great as well if you ever have questions. Highly recommend!

It's ok if you only do VAT deduction and your sales strategy is ok with having different total price for every EU member state. So, If you run EU wide advertising (for example finalprice on product X is 19.99 across EU states) then this app will not work as it will require the shopify option "calculate tyxes based on customer location" to be enabled. And that makes it impossible to have the same price with VAT, as it will always be calculated based on the price without your store's location VAT and then VAT will be added on top for every market in OSS system. So 19.99 will be 21.30 or 17.56 in some coutnries... After reply from support this is not a feature they'd care about.
Unfortunately merchant doesn't understand the Shopify tax system and chose to vent his frustration on our app. Second time they installed Exemptify, apparently after looking for an app that can do what can't be done.
Been using this app for a while now and despite a few hiccups in my configurations its now working great! We had a small issue at the cart page recently due to a recent shopify update and the support team replied to my query within 10 minutes and within 30 minutes they connected as a collaborator and the issue was resolved, excellent support service thank you.
Incredible good app for those who want to be setup for sales in Europe and Export. Easey to install, easy to setup pf VAT taxes and direct assitance if necessary. I gif it 5 stars!!!
App is easy to configure and works great, also with the new EU tax regulations starting July 2021. The fastest and most uncomplicated support so far. Thank you.
Mit dieser App haben wir endlich eine Lösung gefunden, die technisch auch funktioniert. Kein Problem in Verbindung mit Bruttopreisen und funktioniert in Verbindung mit der App easybill, die wir für die Fakturierung verwenden. Neben dem steuerfreien Einkauf sind auch Rabatte möglich. Neben der Angabe der Bruttopreise, die wir für die Endkunden benötigen, ist parallel die Angabe der Nettopreise möglich, was für unser B2B Kunden perfekt ist. Der Support ist außerordentlich kompetent, schnell und lösungsorientiert.
5 stars because of the excellent support! The app works very well and does its job. I had troubles with importing the customers VAT to our invoice system, but Exemptify Support respondend fast and helped with all issues!
