Horrible experience. They completely messed up my cart and when i add products to the cart, it doesn't update. Reached out to support and they said they backed up my theme, but they backed up my theme incorrectly. All the changes made were also in my "backup" theme. I had to manually revert all of the code they made and guess what, it all started to work again. I spent 3 hours trying to fix all of this and all customer support said during this time was that it wasn't their fault. Well I just fixed it by reverting all their code, so yes, it was their fault.

Update: Over half a decade later, huge changes to the app, features, more, but still after the better half of a decade the support level is 100% up there if the best Shopify apps. Genuinely potentially number 1 across all apps. After some huge business changes over the years I was convinced customer support was going to fall off a cliff like almost every other shopify app that goes big time... BOGOS is legit a masterclass with support and making it happen for customers, i have gone and tried, used and paid for other "similar apps" but in the end talking to them is like having a letterpal on the otherside of the world but with BOGO it is legit almost as fast as a AI chatbot but by no means are they bots, over the moon with this. Big Shoutout to MINA, super patient and super effective and skilled, David the dev i spoke with too is great, Mina is topnotch and represents BOGO incredibly, big thanks to her! I also want to suggest Shopify as a company takes a leaf out of BOGOS book when it comes to customer support, genuinely they are one of if not the last supportive app and whats awesome is they were one of the first i tried, awesome and they i swear are awake 24/7. Absolute beasts! This was my original review below from many many years ago " I have been using BOGO Free gifts for years now and recently updated to their new updated version of the app... all i can say is I WISH other apps had the same support level that this app has. They honestly have faster support than Shopify Plus 24 hour support... they reply fast and dont waste your time! Great app!" My vote for "number #1 on shopify"

Great support and the app works great! A lot of options for qualifying for a free gift and choosing a free gift. Mina and David are very responsive!

This app is fairly easy to use and whenever I've had issues with liquid code that were above my paygrade, the developer team was able to fix my issue quickly and effectively.

Ultimately we were unable to use this app because it conflicts with Shopify Scripts. However, I will say that the customer service team was very responsive when it came to both installing the app as well as then uninstalling the app from our store when we realized that there was a conflict, so credit to them for that!

Great app. Helped me add free gifts to cart. At first it was confusing how the app interface is, however, their support team especially Nicolas is AMAZING and quickly helped me through installation. Very easy to use once you learn the first time! highly recommend

This app has performed better than we could have ever imagined. Robert was SO helpful & responsive, & really went above & beyond to ensure we were perfectly set up for our Black Friday sale. We offered two tiers of gifts on our website. So happy to have this app now part of our website.

We downloaded this app as a last minute decision for Black Friday. We were very impressed with how quickly we were up and running, and the free gift was a great incentive for purchases for Black Friday. Would definitely recommend.

great app. very prompt support. this app requires some simple edits to your liquid files..ours wasnt quite as standard. opened a ticket and they went in and set it up completely free.
