Do not recommend this app. App was not ready upon download. Had to give permission do developer to finish installation and then once fully installed customers were unable to use the checkout button on our store resulting in frustration and loss of sales. This was not fixed for hours after problem was noticed and we did not hear back from Secomapp for far too long after this occurred, only received auto generated emails until after our store had closed for the day. Would have been nice to talk to someone over the phone about our problems but no phone number can be found online. Using this app has brought me doubt to use any third party apps on Shopify.

We us this app anytime we have a promotion that has a free gift or when the basic shopify discount algorithm does not fit our need. It can be a bit confusing to set up as the app has the capability to adapt to a variety of rules so I highly recommend testing the promotion before going live with it. The support is on point so if you have any questions they are very quick to respond and clarify anything.

Super useful app! We have used it for several email campaigns, which were very profitable. It is tricky to install the app, though, but Peter from support was great, he helped us a lot and ensured that everything went smoothly. I would give 4 stars due to the tricky installation, but one star goes to Peter and his support.

AMAZING SERVICE - AMAZING APP! Don't even bother with "other one". It doesn't even compare to this one! I know, I tried both. What I love about this app: Super easy to use, amazing customer service, a few custom promos preset for me to start using right away once code was installed, nice pop up for the choose your gift. Decreased abandoned cart rate immediately. What I don't love: I would have loved to use it right out of the box. But, really it wasn't that big a deal. Having them set it up was great - no hassle and super quick service. Plus it's a big perk of a few custom promos with my products set up to either edit or start using right away. In the end, I spent less time on set up with this one over the the other. I downloaded two different Free Gift apps. This one and another. To be honest, I started right away with the other one as this one had a bunch of code, and I was a bit intimidated by all the steps, so I thought I'd try the other first as it appeared to work right away - no code necessary. HOWEVER it was a bit lacking on options and wasn't impressed with the look. So, decided to give this one a try. I opted to have them install the code - to be safe. I emailed my request at around 10:30pm EST and by the morning I had an email that it was installed. That AND they set up a few promos for me! Which was amazing as I now had a few templates. I was not expecting that. Talk about going above and beyond! Truly impressed. Cost wise...this one is a bit higher than the other. However the look and feel is far superior, as well as there is a bit more I can do with this one over the other. After testing both, I'm getting a better checkout rate with Secomapp than "the other one" . Great job and special thanks to Brian Lee for the set up and great communication!

Excellent app - does exactly what it says it does, really user friendly to use, and the support is excellent. It gives you so many options for free or discounted item offers.

Cool app, which offers many features. I have already sent an email campaign with the links for a free gift, and the response was very promising, so that I will continue with promotions. However, the app is very robust, and you need to be a tech guy. I think I am kind of, but it was still too much. Fortunately, Peter from Secomapp tech support was fantastic and very helpful. He installed the app quickly and also created some test campaigns that I did not have any problems to make my own. Thanks for that!

FREE Gift was really helpful for us because We really needed a plug-in to provide us the option, that shopify doesn't have, to add automatically to the cart of the customers a gift, once they reached the amount to receive it. Also the customer care is really well done.

I have used the app in the last email campaign (BOGO) and achieved some great results, which is a ca. 27% increase in sales. The app offers many features, and I will test them more in the future. However, I had some issues with installation, and I could not do it by myself, but Peter, from their support, gave me a hand and did a really excellent job. He was very friendly and showed me how the app works! Thanks, man!

customer service in incompetent. that is the reason I cancelled. They couldn't answer my ingle question, but instead cared more about when my subscription will renew.

It`s a very powerful app and does an excellent job providing free gifts to my customers and boost sales. I do not have much data yet to share, though, but the start looks very promising. However, it is a challenge to install it, especially if you are not a tech guy or don't have much time. But Peter from secomapp tech support is a simply incredible, very helpful, kind, and friendly guy. He installed the app very quickly and help me with some modifications. Awesome job!

We had the developer help install but it's still not working. When we drop the cart below the required amount to receive the free gift it stays in the cart even though the customer has spent less than the threshold.

I used this app because I was looking for a solution to implement two tier gift with purchases and it worked as promised. Brian helped us install the liquid code for us promptly and was on hand to reply any queries we had about setting up the free gifts. Thank you so much for the wonderful work peeps. Please keep it up.
