Giftship: Gift Options & More

Honestly this app is a potential GAME CHANGER for gifting season. We love being able to offer our customers much, MUCH better options for gifting. In addition, the support team is super helpful and very responsive. We are not "premium app" type purchasers unless we feel strongly about it, but this one may be the one that makes a big difference.

I use this app to allow customers to schedule delivery dates, and it works great. The Gist App team was very accommodating in making sure the app was set up properly in my particular theme. Thank you!

Not make the app enable yet for my online shop but so far their support team has been replying to all my questions very kindly, nicely and patiently, and I am just excited to use the app and see how it works and it increases our sales!! Thank you, Tim, Zac and Helen!

Great tools for gifting and great, rapid reply service for any issues. Really like the gift messaging, multiple shipment and future date planning functionalities.

We recently added this app to our site and it has been great! Customer service is wonderful, any issues we've had has been quickly fixed by their team. I have yet to find a similar app!

As the florist and gift store the delivery date feature is perfect. The customer service is fast, reliable and extremely helpful.

Thought this was a game changer for the holidays. Support started to respond and I felt base on their last email they were annoyed with my questions which I've asked for 4-days straight and was told: "Some due diligence is required here - I've outlined specifically where you can access the different templates, so I'm going to ask that you try a few out prior to requesting further assistance here." I reached out to Shopify support thinking maybe I was indeed the problem. Well they understood what I was asking while Giftship did not or choose to ignore. Basically the app works fine enough with multi-shipping and leaving give messages. Unfortunately the problem is the gift messages are printed as ONE Packing List, their program do not have a way for you to print each gift message separately for that one order. What's the point of shipping 4-packages to 4-different people but the packing list has ALL 4 Gift Messages listed!!! If there is a way to resolve this we do not know but at this point it doesn't matter anymore. We've removed this app and found another company with Gift Messages.

GiftShip was easy to install and the team was very helpful and responsive when questions about integrating features into our custom theme came up. Everything looks clean on our site and customers have started to use the feature right away. Great app and service.

The headline is that ultimately my Giftship experience didn't work out. We initially really wanted to use it for the ability to add multiple addresses to a single order (a great feature) and writing gift messages for each one (also helpful) and delivering Festive orders after a certain date. However, the upside of adding these additional features was diluted by glitches - e.g. the additional address not always appearing (we had to resend and had consumer complaints), administrative frustrations (spotting a gift message became harder) and the anomaly that sales from Giftship 'split' orders were double-counted and thus we needed a manual-workaround to understand performance. Customer service from Giftship was mostly very helpful and I know they spent considerable time seeking to resolve the issues, and I have no idea as to whether the issues lay with the app, our store template or both...but ultimately the integration into our site was not resolved to our satisfaction and so ultimately we have removed the app. We are really disappointed to do this, just before the Xmas season.

We’ve been using Gist for years, and it just keeps getting better. Their app offers so many great options!! it just keeps getting better. That said, what truly sets them apart is their service. Jayson jumped on a call with us and walked us through new features, even setting everything up while we were live with him. That level of hands-on support is rare and so appreciated. They are fantastic to work with!!

Such a great app! Many different uses for it and the support team is INCREDIBLE. We have a funky theme so we are always needing changes and they are always happy to help (and quick). We love Giftship!!

This app has been a wonderful addition to our website! GIft wrap, delivery date picker, and product upsells have already increased sales for us and we've only had this installed for a couple of weeks. We can already see the difference because of these great features. Also, HUGE shout out to their support team. We asked so many questions about customizations and they always responded with answers within a couple of hours. A few times they just made changes we wanted! Absolutely amazing to work we and we can't speak highly enough of them!

I use this app to ship to multiple addresses and add gift messages. Zac and Kevin are great to work with and get the job done!

We tried this app to help us with gift notes and wanted to see if we had any real need for multiple address shipping. In the end, we went in a different direction due to low-resolution images and camera icons istead of product images on the cart page. Support was excellent and let us know that this is due to Shopify checkout being locked down for security reasons. We also ran in challenges searching for the gift messages within Shipstation... both issues were specific to our company's needs, so definitely give Giftship a try if those aren't things your company cares about. They seem to really have the multiple ship option figured out! Again, super supportive team! Wish it was a better fit for us :)

There are a lot of details to manage when opening a new store and the app options can feel overwhelming. I chose Giftship because it offers me and my customers time-saving solutions. The multiple address feature will be a fan favorite for our customers allowing customers to ship items to multiple locations in a single order with a personal message for each shipment. How cool is that!!
