Seems to work...but it doesn't show any of the sales attributed to it in the 'Sales by Channel' on the Shopify Home page. Which is funny, because in the app it clearly tells you how much you sold using Google Shopping.

Your new Google Shopping app, unlike the old one (no longer supported) has some holes in it. Products in my feed do have GTINs Error Message I'm getting is: "Barcode gtin missing: gtin is required for this product". Issues: 1. GTIN numbers are are transferred to Google Shopping campaigns 2. There is no way to enter (re-enter) GTIN in a window "Edit Google Shopping fields", GTIN field MUST be added to that window PLEASE. That field is missing. Currently Google REQUIRES BOTH: MPN number AND GTIN or a product will be rejected. Is someone still working on improvements to your Google Shopping App, or should I resort to other paid apps. I say: Do not install !!! The old app was working OK. There should be a way to choose between the two.

Get rid of this app as soon as possible. Our Adwords account never recovered when we updated this app. It didn't matter what I did to our campaigns, I couldn't get our products to consistently show up. It would even show a 'product ID' missing in our feed. Are you kidding me? This update cost us $40K a month in business. Last ditch effort was to delete the app. I installed a different Google feed app and immediately saw an improvement. Once the sync updated on Adwords our products began to show up again.

It takes way more than 3-5 days for Google to approve ads. Shopify you should take down that claim if Google wont honor it. Dont bother contacting Shopify for support they will just refer you to Google then Google will refer you back to Shopify. Also atleast for me having hard time changing to manual bidding. Automatic bidding has robbed me with no conversions.

Great idea. Very bad execution. It was not clear that starting a new Google Shopping Campaign will OVER-RIDE your existing shopping campaign. For 2 weeks our TOP performing shopping campaign was not delivering because this APP prevented it. This APP NEEDS A LOT of improvement for shopify store owners. It might be great for some that don't have the slightest clue of how to get started with Google Shopping Ads but I can tell you first hand this APP leaves a lot to be desired. For one you are unable to set any sort of Target ROAS. You are unable to run any bid adjustments on specific devices and the conversion reporting is questionable. If you want to know why this APP has ONLY 1 STAR install it and find out for your self.

This App has to much automation and was total waste of time trying to go through the setup to even get it up an running, so I wouldn't recommend spending any of your money utilizing this app for marketing!

If you want to burn money and get no results this is the ideal app to use. There is no control over spending and had to switch if off quick after $300+ spend in a couple of days. TOTALLY CRAP..........

It seems that this app doesn't send barcode(gtin) to merchant center. They only send brand and MPN, but some products required Barcode, and this app doesn't send it to merchant center. Really useless.

The old app worked perfect. This app slowly removed all of our products over a week since updating. So many lost sales.

The old google shopping app was removed and replaced with this app. You can no longer select products to feed over to google merchant center by collection. It pushes you into using a smart shopping campaign which may not be best if you need a custom campaign and only market to certain states. You can no longer search for a specific product in the products area. you can no longer "push" your products into google merchant center. Overall this app sucks compared to the old one and am trying to find a different option to use moving forward which really stinks because November and December are big sales months for our industry and I should not have to make changes to my online advertising and find new avenues this time of year, I should be already set up... like I was.. on the old app.

Unfortunately after uninstalling the previous Google shopping app, I'm stuck with the new app like others here. The new app will not allow you to adjust bids for devices so now we're getting swamped with mobile clicks that don't convert and never have. We used to decrease bids on mobile and tablets by 90% because our products don't perform well on mobile, but now we can't do that. Do not install this app until they allow more control!

after 4 days, no sales, and a bill of $229.00 from google.. only 65 clicks, after spending about 9 hours on this total.. 8 of those hours was wondering how to control cpc which is apparently impossible.. this tool will bankrupt you before you even know it the old app was horrible, but it worked at least and we were spending $5 a day for 5-10 sales a day.

Let me start by saying, DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. I am a Shopify Plus store and a "Guru" convinced me it was perfectly fine to install the app despite the negative reviews. I was told these negative reviews were people that didn't understand Google's strict Shopping rules. I have been doing this for many years and I understand fully, and this negative review has NOTHING to do with Google. Shopify unfortunately does not give you the tools necessary to add back in all the Google Shopping data fields that were previously available via a simple csv file. You have to manually edit each item. Seriously?!?! Each item, Shopify? I have a couple thousand items. This is absolutely impossible. You have to manually add in the MPN, product category, and condition for each individual item, and there's no way to do it with a csv file. You can't even search for the items to edit. You literally have to scroll 25 items at a time to find an item or a group of items. It's a total disaster! People, you have been warned. Unless you are a very small beginner store, this app will wreck your Google Shopping campaign.

It works like a charm and the ROI ist very good. It's the best way to easily make money without having to pay an agency. Great job, thank you.

It actually seems like a scam. It has spent over half our ad spend to date on advertising to people whom canot buy from us despite adding a location. It gives no control and is bug ridden from start to finish. It's actually hard to believe just how bad this app is. Shopify is this a scam?

I give it a minus 10 not even good enough for a zero!!! It's a destructive app!!! DON'T INSTALL IT! It will ruin your google merchant account and take approved products to disapproved and it will take hours to fix little errors. Also you don't have access to fix those either... So you're stuck. STOP NOW! AND GET RID OF THE APP! I'd like to know who created it and if there could be legal action against them for lost income by all of these amazing store owners. I would say that the developer is liable for these financial losses and should be held accountable.

Hope this review helps someone make a better decision when choosing how to sync to Google. This app is meant for new small merchants just getting started or merchants not yet setup with Merchant Center or Ads. Beware if you are an established merchant: - This app will change all product ID's to XXXXX-XXXXX and make it incredibly difficult to run ad campaigns for certain products as you will need to match the ID to your SKU. Impossible if you have hundreds or thousands of SKUs. - If you have approved products you will need to re-sync your catalog. This will cause all of your SKUs to go thorough the approval process again. In many cases you will need to wait weeks to get items approved again. - If you use a shipping app like Boxify to set your shipping settings this app will not import settings outside of Shopify's shipping settings. - If you have manually configured shipping settings on Merchant Center, all settings will be deleted every-time the app syncs. - Google Shopping Fields will need to be set one item at a time as there is no excel upload feature that I could find. There is no support for this app, they blame everything on google. I was told that google doesn't have a way for them to not overwrite the shipping settings... yet all the other apps on the marketplace are allowed to do this. Developer Suggestion: 1) Don't send the shipping settings to Google, let users set their own shipping rules. 2) Send SKU# or add SKU# to item ID (ItemID-SKU) to allow better control on the Google ads side. Conclusion: This app works fine if you don't mind manual work. If you are busy and are trying to grow your business this app will slow you down. If you have a store with 100 items or less or not using a shipping app like Boxify then this app will probably work fine for you. Issues like this makes us think that upgrading to Shopify Plus might not be worth it. To many apps needed to run a store, little to no support for free Shopify apps, or the apps are useless for larger growing merchants.

I was forced to update to this new app as Shopify told me the old one was to be unsupported. I now cannot import my shipping rates as I'm in the UK so I'm stuck and my Google traffic has plummeted. Terrible experience, I only hope I can delete this app and get back to my ususal search traffic.

Complete crap! don't install it! You do not get ANY options whatsoever to try and do anything with your ads
